The key ones were the lobster, dory and the Bluenose. Bringing coins if you want to park on the street. 2CD per hour. We stayed about two hours because the docents were so interesting to talk to. The main parking lot was 4 CD per hour and it was full at 3 o'clock on a Friday in October. Overall nice museum with excelente help, even the front desk people made us feel welcome beyond normal.

We made a day of visiting Lunenburg and got to see the Blue Nose. Unfortunately, end of October means the tourism season is over and 50% of the town was shut down and the museum talks, guided tours, and extras were not operational. The Blue Nose was outside and being prepared for winter and was no longer accessible to museum patrons. The upside? I think admission was only $5 as it was off season. Inside, you'll find a small aquarium, artifacts of Atlantic fishing life, and stories galore from rum running prohibition to sea monsters. There's a small movie theatre that has an ongoing rotating display of documentary style films. There are three floors here plus the outside where the Bluenose replica is. Fear not, however, there are elevators if your party requires. All in all, I'd like to come back but when it's tourism season and the displays and tours are active.

Hard to support a business that takes advantage…read moreof a kid (and he wrote a review on another platform a few weeks ago about this but interestingly, it has "disappeared"). What can you say about a business that responds to criticism with "Haters gonna hate" and where a negative review disappears? Here's the scoop: My son called and asked if they were interested in buying his large 1-year-old plecos. Someone on the phone said, "Sure, but we prob won't give you more than $15 or $20." He didn't say if it was per fish or for the whole lot (we had about 10). So off we drove all the way there. Once we got there, my son repeated, "I called about bringing in my plecos." One of the two guys there said, "Oh sure, no problem. We'll just put the bag in the aquarium to acclimatize them." We walked around the store a bit, and when we went to check out, my son said, "So do I get a store credit or cash for the plecos?" That's when the guy said, "Oh, we don't really have a demand for them. We'll just take them." So essentially, on the phone they said they'd buy the fish, and once we got there and put the bag in their tank, they said, "Oh, we don't have a need for them" and they took them from my son for nothing. He of course being a kid was too shy to say anything, so 1 Fish 2 Fish got our fish for free and disappointed a customer who will never be going back. Either they're forgetful or dishonest, waiting for a kid to put his fish in the tank before saying that they wouldn't pay him. Either way, not a good way to treat customers. The $15 isn't going to break our bank. It's the unethical nature of taking advantage of a kid who has come all this way, and is now too shy to complain (probably something they were counting on, maybe?). Anyway, no need to patronize a business who treats their young customers like this, when there are more honest folks out there like Aquarica (who do what they promise). The 1 star was only for the fish.

Funny though, I was really looking forward to what this PetSmart had to offer. Being from the states I'm used to the large warehouse feeling of most places. But the difference is the Petsmart where I'm originally from was less than a 5 minute drive. Now you really have to travel out just to get there and if you're just going to see if they carry your brand of food only to find out they don't it can feel like a waste of time. Luckily I had a friend in tow that was looking for a new cat tree so it wasn't a total waste of time for me. As with most warehouse type shopping experience everything is going to be slightly cheaper and you'll probably have lots of options to choose from but again if you're just going for one thing: Meh. There wasn't anyone there (customer wise) when we were perusing for cat tree's. I don't think this particular location has caught on just yet so the employees seemed overly eager to help us. Two of us vs five of them = too much customer service. But they seemed nice and really I don't blame them if they are having to stare at the windows all day at the empty parking lot. If they put a Costco out there, business would probably be mad hopping. Get your 50 pounds of ground beef for you and your 150 pound bag of food for your four-legger!

Other than that, the store is great! They are very welcoming of all breeds of dogs, which is nice. Price wise it can be expensive, but if you follow their social media and have signed up for the rewards card the sales can be AWESOME!
