I took my bike here for inspection and I changed exhaust and other stuff by myself to make the bike safety same as a factory to pass the inspection and he said everything looks ok. But later than they called me and said your bike needs a ball bearing otherwise there is no way to pass the inspection and it will cost me 800$ for it . And for sure they know the bike with no inspection pass can't get insurance and it's hard to move it to another motorcycle services so you have no choice except listening to them . I called another motorcycle services today they ask me about some pictures of my bike and they said your bike looks fine to pass the inspection. So I took my bike there and they did inspection my bike and pass it with 250$ total and it was no issues with ball bearings at all . It was just my experience with Burnaby Kawasaki . Of course the inspection price in this store is around 150$ and it's cheaper but you not gonna pay 150$ at the end because they will make you to fix other things and pay extra money . *modern scam*

My only options were either I open it and diagnose the problem and try to fix by myself or somehow transport it to the dealer service centre and get it fixed. As I am not a trained mechanic, I called GVP, the dealer of Can-am products, for help. They came to the site to either fix it on site or to transport it to their location. Now keep in mind I haven never been to their location but visited their booth at the Vancouver Motorcycle Show and this was my experience dealing with them... There was a lady working at their booth that was completely rude to me at the show. She completely interrupted one person working there that was in the middle of helping me just cuz she thinks what she has to say is more important, and it wasn't! It's something that could've waited. I brushed it off at that point. I later saw a icon body armour behind the counter and she happened to be there. So I politely asked her how much that armour was, she told me the price as she was staring at a different customer. I was interested in purchasing it but clearly she had no interest in helping me. I can understand that it's was extremely busy. But she had just finished helping someone and she happened to be free. I specifically went there just to visit their booth cuz I heard great things about Daytona Motorsports. But I don't see it. Now I've posted this review on their Facebook page and it was deleted because I assume they did not want bad publicity. I get that. But I did not feel like a valued customer. I required a rear hitch replaced on my 2011 Chev pickup and the job was done very quickly. I…read moretook a trip to the Okanagan and noticed that the instrument panel was showing that there was a dead short and that the alternator was discharging. Thus as a result of consultation with a mechanic. ,replaced the alternator however this problem was not rectified., and a second alternator was replaced. I took a second trip to E & H Hitch and I noticed some dark colors of what to appeared to be a burn on the frame at the location of where the hitch was installed. This was surfaced to an employee however he denied using a torch to remove any of the four rusted bolts and even commented that he was surprised that the bolts came off easily. He did not use any testing equipment and was doing a visual check on the wire connections and was only too quick to recommend another business who were known to him to do electrical inspections and repair however upon my attendance they were booked solid and had no openings. The wiring harness obviously has a dead short causing a discharge on the alternator causing the gage to fall back to 12 volts from the near 15 volts of operation. In conclusion, there were no previous electrical problems on this vehicle. The cost factor of having two BC Ferry ridings., and paying technicians 150.00 dollars an hour and alternator replacements is really hard to swallow. I believe that a photo taken prior to the mechanics involved would have provided more information on the repair. Recommendations NIL.. You be the judge! I must admit that the service counter was staffed with a very dedicated individual.

Recently I had my 2013 bagger in to have a new sound system installed, with subwoofer and all, and I am very happy with their work and the after care they provided! If you're in the market for a stereo or upgrades to your scooter, you have to see these guys!!! Wow I have always had great service until now I had my brakes done here about a month ago and…read morelast week there was a grinding noise so I took it back to Westwood they put it on the hoist and said I cant see nothing not sure why its making a noise . Frustrasted I left thinking I have to cancel my holidays. The noise got worse so on the advise of a friend I went to Apel auto they put it on the hoist and they Discovered the bolt on the driver side holding the new break was gone. They replaced it at no charge I stopped by Westwood on my way home. And the same gentleman was there I told he what had happened and he basically blew me off again. After 30 yrs of recommending family and friends and using their service Iam sorry to say never again
