HIGHROAD vancouver COMMITED ICBC FRAUD They billed ICBC…read morebrand new parts but gave me my used parts repaired I was in an accident in with my motorycle in June, 2025. I was rear ended and was deemed not at fault. I sent my motorcycle to Highroad for repair. They insured me that everything would be replaced with brand new parts and the ICBC claim sheet showed I would receive all brand new parts. When i received my motorcycle back from Highroad, i noticed the paint work was very poorly done. It has paint/clearcoat drips, paint/clearcoat bubbles, unpainted areas, black plastic undercoat still showing, and dirt/dust stuck underneath the clearcoat. They agreed and said the bodyshop would repaint it in the winter time. December 2025, I take off my fairings to have bodyshop repaint it. I noticed one of the fairing wasn't brand new, it was my old fairing repaired and repainted. I was suppose to get a new fairing, badge, and decal worth $1100. I asked Highroad why I didn't get a new fairing, badge, and decal, they said they changed the ICBC claim to repair instead of replace. I checked over the parts sheet and that is not true. Then they said the parts weren't avaliable, also not true, i found mutiple places in stock with them. Then they said at the time, this was the best course of action. Also during repaint, I was suppose to have my brand new exhaust, frame sliders, and barend part installed. Highroad did not order them at all. It had already been 6 months since my accident. I asked them why they didn't order it yet, they said it is unavaliable. I emailed my exhaust manufacture, Austin racing, they replied back to me within a day and said they would be able to ship me one out in 3 weeks. The other parts i found easily on google. They charged ICBC $2355 to have my fairings painted at a bodyshop but I'm certain no certified bodyshop painted it. I asked them multiple times who the bodyshop they used is, they would not tell me. I told them I would drop off the fairings to the bodyshop for repaint but they wouldn't let me. I have text message proof that I'm being lied to multiple times about my issues. Pictures of the paint work: - Edges unpainted with paint/clearcoat drips - Black undercoat still showing through - Fairing they repaired and repainted. They masked the decal and the paint bled through - Headlight fairing backside is unpainted, other side is painted from factory which you can see - Hard to capture the dirt/dust under the clearcoat in photos but you can see how horrible the paint job is.

My only options were either I open it and diagnose the problem and try to fix by myself or somehow transport it to the dealer service centre and get it fixed. As I am not a trained mechanic, I called GVP, the dealer of Can-am products, for help. They came to the site to either fix it on site or to transport it to their location. It was minor fix, they fixed it for no cost to me. It was great feeling. Thank you GVP.

She was thorough and got the work done in an hour, I was happy and the price fair. I know a shop would have charged far more for Labour kept my bike for the day not giving me information about the work they did. This was an excellent experience overall and I recommend 100% I think the other comments about her asking what someone wants to spend was misinterpreted as trying to rip off and really it was asked from a place of I want y to I be fair to you before getting fully into it. thanks a bunch!

I have been a fairly regular customer over the years with numerous bikes and services required and have always been fairly satisfied with the results, however, I recently went by to drop off two wheels with tires to be replaced and this is why I am writing. Firstly, I thought they were no longer at the location then realized they have moved over a few bays to the end of the row. It seems to be a smaller area?? I dropped off my front and rear wheels. The rear tire I had removed at home but struggled mightily and only got the new one half on!!!!!! The front tire needed the old tire removed and the new tire installed. This is a fairly straightforward procedure with the use of machines and not just tire irons which I was using and is something I have had done countless times at shops for many different bikes. I left the wheels there and said I would pick them up in a day or so. When I called the shop to confirm the tires were ready and asked the price I had to ask again how much...... Please keep in mind there was no wheel removal or installation on and off a bike.... They charged me $191.00. When I went to pick up the wheels and asked about the extremely expensive charge I was told that was their rates ($100 front tire, $64 rear tire..half on already) and maybe I should deal with Burnaby Kawasaki in the future as I had explained their cost was $95 plus taxes for the same procedure. This is the first time I have felt the need to relay my experience in a negative way but feel this was a completely unjustified and blatant overcharge with no attempt of reconciliation to what was a regular customer..... no longer sad to say L West Vancouver

That is why the service I expect and get is equivalent to that of any Mercedes dealership. Cars today are more complex and require a significant investment in diagnostic equipment. The Garage has all of this, therefore I receive a full diagnosis and inspection, even if the main event is the annual oil change. And so I drive off on a road trip, fully confident the car will perform optimally and If youcarry me safely to destinations. Another thing I like is being able to drop the car off in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day. In the interim, the skytrain and transit gets me to where I am going. If you consider your car an investment, then The Garage is a good option. The peace of mind I get is worth the time my car spends in their care.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It was only after I paid that I came to realize how ridiculous this cost is, and luckily it was before I had anything fixed by these guys. I called 5+ other mechanics in the city who all laughed at this cost. The most any of them would charge to run this diagnostic was $50. I took my car to another mechanic who charged $600 for the same job that The Garage quoted me $1100 for...and guess what? They ran the diagnostic for FREE before advising that any work be done. I watched him do this in about 2 minutes. I'm not sure if they sized me up and thought that they could over charge because I'm a woman and I don't know a lot about cars, but I'm sure anyone who knows ANYTHING about cars would laugh in their faces if told it would cost $170 to run the diagnostic that takes 2 minutes. Needless to say, my friend's dad won't be recommending this place anymore. It's funny that places like this think that they're getting more money by ripping people off, but don't realize how much business they're forfeiting by gaining this bad reputation.
