I took my bike here for inspection and I changed exhaust and other stuff by myself to make the bike safety same as a factory to pass the inspection and he said everything looks ok. But later than they called me and said your bike needs a ball bearing otherwise there is no way to pass the inspection and it will cost me 800$ for it . And for sure they know the bike with no inspection pass can't get insurance and it's hard to move it to another motorcycle services so you have no choice except listening to them . I called another motorcycle services today they ask me about some pictures of my bike and they said your bike looks fine to pass the inspection. So I took my bike there and they did inspection my bike and pass it with 250$ total and it was no issues with ball bearings at all . It was just my experience with Burnaby Kawasaki . Of course the inspection price in this store is around 150$ and it's cheaper but you not gonna pay 150$ at the end because they will make you to fix other things and pay extra money . *modern scam*

I know a shop would have charged far more for Labour kept my bike for the day not giving me information about the work they did. I have been a fairly regular customer over the years with numerous bikes and services required and have always been fairly satisfied with the results, however, I recently went by to drop off two wheels with tires to be replaced and this is why I am writing. Firstly, I thought they were no longer at the location then realized they have moved over a few bays to the end of the row. It seems to be a smaller area?? I dropped off my front and rear wheels. The rear tire I had removed at home but struggled mightily and only got the new one half on!!!!!! The front tire needed the old tire removed and the new tire installed. This is a fairly straightforward procedure with the use of machines and not just tire irons which I was using and is something I have had done countless times at shops for many different bikes. I left the wheels there and said I would pick them up in a day or so. When I called the shop to confirm the tires were ready and asked the price I had to ask again how much...... Please keep in mind there was no wheel removal or installation on and off a bike.... They charged me $191.00. When I went to pick up the wheels and asked about the extremely expensive charge I was told that was their rates ($100 front tire, $64 rear tire..half on already) and maybe I should deal with Burnaby Kawasaki in the future as I had explained their cost was $95 plus taxes for the same procedure. This is the first time I have felt the need to relay my experience in a negative way but feel this was a completely unjustified and blatant overcharge with no attempt of reconciliation to what was a regular customer..... no longer sad to say L West Vancouver

Instead of calling me to ask/let me know about the extra charges, they instead adjusted their profit on the other work to ensure my bill equaled my estimate. It is hard enough to find a good, honest mechanic, but Cloverdale ARC seems to go above and beyond in every respect. The location is good, the shop is organized and clean, and the people are kind. If I wasn't from out of country they would have my business long term!

Took my car in which required a new exhaust pipe be put in. The bolts broke off in the converter…read moreand so they put excessive heat on them to get them out. They were going to charge me for a new converter. I was devastated since the price was already going to be over $600 based on what they told me and that was a surprise as well. When they told me it was going to be $600, I told them to quit working on it since it was just loud. They said they were too far into the job to stop and I am on disability from being in an accident and can't afford much right now. After I left, I headed about a 4 hour drive away in which the engine light came on and I lost the ability to increase speed. It was "bank 1 sensor 1". The 02 sensor. I took the car back to them, and they said they would only charge me for the part and no labor. They also said that it wasn't possible for the work they did to have caused the new issue. They quoted me $200 for the part. I went to the pick and pull, got the part and was going to do it myself but the bolt was seized. I spoke to my trusted mechanic that was just too far for me to take my car to in the first place, and he told me that they should have removed the 02 sensor before applying any heat and that it most certainly could burn out the sensor and just for the simple fact that it was seized on there meant they hadn't removed it before applying heat. It was not giving any codes before they worked on it. When I went in for them to replace the 02 sensor with the one I had pulled, they tried to charge me $145 for labor because I brought my own part in. They were adamant that they couldn't have possibly caused the issue and I should be more grateful for the work they did on my car earlier to help me out, even though I felt pushed into the work in the first place, as if I had no choice. When I explained what my mechanic said how it was possible, the owner got in my face, pointing his finger at me and raised his voice at me and told me to take my car and leave. I took the car to another mechanic shop, and they said they would charge me for 30 minutes labor and not up-charge for bringing my own part which would be less than $50 and this new shop had nothing to do with the issue.

It is with great regret that I write this review for Daytona Motorsports since I've heard nothing…read morebut great things about them. Now keep in mind I haven never been to their location but visited their booth at the Vancouver Motorcycle Show and this was my experience dealing with them... There was a lady working at their booth that was completely rude to me at the show. She completely interrupted one person working there that was in the middle of helping me just cuz she thinks what she has to say is more important, and it wasn't! It's something that could've waited. I brushed it off at that point. I later saw a icon body armour behind the counter and she happened to be there. So I politely asked her how much that armour was, she told me the price as she was staring at a different customer. I was interested in purchasing it but clearly she had no interest in helping me. I can understand that it's was extremely busy. But she had just finished helping someone and she happened to be free. I specifically went there just to visit their booth cuz I heard great things about Daytona Motorsports. But I don't see it. Now I've posted this review on their Facebook page and it was deleted because I assume they did not want bad publicity. I get that. But I did not feel like a valued customer. Although the gentleman that did help me at first was awesome.
