Excellence. --- Service --- The customer service at this location is incredible and 90% the reason I purchased my vehicle here. The Sales staff are incredible, specifically Alen, who helped me over the span of a full weekend test driving and narrowing down the car I would get. --- Management --- The GM at Applewood is incredibly personable and knowledgable. Jake is a great representation of who should be in charge of a dealership. --- Cars/Service --- The selection of cars is incredible and fairly priced. The Applewood group has multiple dealerships and we're happy to bring a vehicle from the other dealerships for me to look at. The Service staff are incredibly accommodating for when I needed to bring my car in. --- Overall --- The combination of Jake and Alen is the major reason I purchased my vehicle here. I would steer clear of this dealer. Was trying to purchase a vehicle and when asked for an invoice they decided to have a $1k documentation fee when the site says no fees in transactions. Then after removing I asked for them to have the car inspected at my expense which they refused. They refunded my deposit on a car stating that they changed there mind in selling to me. 100% avoid this place. Salesman Matt Burnett was very rude, then asked to speak with GM Alex Petersen that eventhough nicer really lacked the customer service to seal the deal. I guess this is what happens when you try to buy a high end car from a Kia dealer. 100% avoid this place. read more

This is the worst car dealership I have ever been to. My Girlfriend ,a single mother of 3 was in a car accident and was told about apple wood The following is a complete horror story, We live about an hour away from the dealership and to find babysitter is very hard. We were told to come in and there would be a few options to chose from, we arrived nothing was ready. Receptionist is a young brat who wouldn't get off her cell phone and was absolutely rude when asked where the people we were looking for were. In fact the entire staff is just Rude except for maybe a couple people there. Then my girlfriend fell in love with a van , so we were told to come back in a couple days when she got her insurance money , so a time a date were set. We went back and had to wait 7.5 hours while watching the completely useless staff ignore us and several other customers. Finally we get the Van and drive it home , immediately notice there is a stuttering going on. At this point I call the dealership they say they will come out and take the van to get fixed . 2 days go by and my girlfriend is driving around in this van with her 3 kids still, while dealing with her injuries from the accident They say they cant find anyone to go get it. So I go get a van from them drive it to her and then take hers back the next morning. They then tell her they knew the van had issues and it had work done to it and they wouldn't be fixing it ,cause they didn't want to put more money into it. They say it is transmission problems So then they tell her they would put her in a new kia van instead , ok first of all the other van was fully loaded and the new van nothing really, but they say they will ad a dvd player. so she says ok cause now its already been over a week. Then they tell her its going to be almost double what the other van is and a bigger deposit. at this point I finally get a manager in they tell us to come back in again and they start showing all these other options that sucked . Every time we go back to the dealership we are there for hours with 3 kids or rushing to find baby sitters. After talking with Manager they say they will get the first Van fixed and they will leave it at that. They tell us to come back and the van will be ready. after several trips back the van still was ready and they weren't even there . The manager sent a text when we were over half way there and hadn't noticed it cause we were driving. Over a month go by and having to remind them every 2 days about extending permits for the loaner van ,we finally get the van . They didn't even detail the damn thing they thru her 20 bucks and said sorry. They 100% guarantee the van and say the whole engine has been replaced, they don't give her a warranty cause it would be over her loan amount for the bank, but they say they will sell her a 6 month one. After a few days the van started stuttering so I texted to tell them I would like a list of all the repairs done and for the 6 month warranty . they say they will find it. its now almost been a month and we have asked a few times and still nothing, The van is progressively getting worse and they wont respond to text They are fully taking advantage of a mother of 3 and the worst dealership in the lower mainland, stay clear !!! She spent an entire summer trying to get a van that still isn't running proper. She was so excited about getting her first car thru a dealership , and had the worst experience ever , now she's not even happy with her van! They have a red phone at the dealership that says if your unhappy call the direct line to the president , well I called 4 weeks ago ended up getting a answering machine , left a message and no phone call back . read more

Terrible service, no call backs, inexperienced service department. We purchased a vehicle for our family over a year ago and the full warranty. Within the first month the wheel bearings needed to be "immediately" replaced. Then at the 4 month mark the shocks and struts needed replacing and also new tires. So it cost us $3700 by Christmas. A vehicle we already paid $16000 for. And they actually let this vehicle drive off the lot. Thats when the roof started leaking. Because of everything we went through they offered to cover the roof leak. 2 attempts at fixing the leak including in March when the service dept had our vehicle for 11 days, and ITS STILL LEAKING. The worst part is every time I have to deal with service or the sales manager Jake they tell me they will call me back and I NEVER RECEIVE a call back. I have the phone records to prove it. Very disheartening. I think the most offensive thing is when they called us to come in in February to choose a different vehicle to trade. We got our 5 year old ready on a saturday morning and headed to Applewood original where they paraded a number of vehicles for us and then told us we would have to pay at least $10000 to get in a new vehicle when we hadn't even had ours for a 10 months yet. Not worth the headache dealing with people who have no respect for their customers. read more
