Some didn't respond, others couldn't do the services, others still only did commercial products. Pro Backflow on the other hand was responsive, offered reasonable prices, and ample availability. During my appointment, I found the service tech offered a good explanation of what he did and offered to file the paperwork for me with the city. My only two points of improvement is the service technician started the work on my house without even knocking on the door or meeting me. I just started hearing drilling. At best, it didn't matter, at worst, it could have been the wrong house! Second, I never hear back for days after the service tech left. I had to reach out to offer my final payment and figure out if they filed my paperwork. Overall good, but Pro Backflow can clean up the edges a bit.

In Los Angeles County, these assemblies must be tested every year by a backflow tester certified by the County of Los Angeles. My HOA has been utilizing the services of Dakota Backflow since 2001, when the units were first built. I like the streamlined, nearly or completely paperless process: County sends forms to HOA, sign and either snail mail or email pdfs back to Dakota, they do the testing, certify, sign, send back to both HOA and County. I like the smooth,efficient process, and if I have questions, an email takes care of it. It's customer service that works for me! Dakota is great to work with with an easy to follow process.
