I'm still seething with this company. We called on a Friday morning with septic backup and were assured that they would be right out and that they would be available all weekend. They camera'd from the septic to the leech line and recommended that we pump the septic tank which we did. Then they indicated they needed to further camera from the septic tank to house. We authorized a full camera inspection of septic to leech and house to septic and also to pump septic which would have identified what the problem was . After spending $1200, continuing 5 days of no use of household sewer system ( due to back up) and no written report as well as numerous attempts to contact them ( Joshua) we had to hope another plumber. On Tuesday Joshua called. Not this time the new plumber had arrived, ran a snake from the toilet to the septic and found that the sewer line was plugged at the baffle T .(where it enters the septic tank). Drains started working properly at that point. The new co. recommended a hydrojet cleaning followed by a camera inspection. They informed us that because the sewer was plugged it was evident that the prior camera inspection as Joshua alleged was done was in fact not done!!! We ended up spending twice as much money, went 5 days without a working toilet and were extremely frustrated and disappointed. read more

I was minding my own business when a FREEKIN' HOLE 20' deep opened up in my front yard. Yikes!! Turns out to be a septic tank that a former owner neglected to properly abandon (jerk). In Yelp I browsed all the septic tank companies but all worked on existing operating tanks. Then I found Diamond. They install AND service AND un-abandon tanks. The Diamond crew sent a camera in into the abyss, gave me reasonable quote, and wow did they do a good job. Some 30 tons of fill dirt is now occupying the space formerly empty under my front yard. Mrs. Yelper no longer fears being swallowed up. Tragedy averted! Cost some coin but totally worth it for the quality of work. I highly recommend Diamond. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND We hired Diamond House Plumbing located in Riverside in Aug 2023 to install a leach field for our septic system, and it has never worked properly since day one. Despite multiple repair attempts, the system continues to fail, with water returning to the tank instead of reaching the leach field. When I requested proof that the system was functioning (such as a visual inspection) one of the owners Joshua Miller, refused. Instead of standing by his work, he denied responsibility and ignored our concerns. I filed a bond claim due to their failure to provide a working system, but the company falsely claimed the job was complete-even though it wasn't. The bond adjuster confirmed they were required to provide a two year warranty, yet Diamond House Plumbing failed to do so. If you are considering this company and their finance company Foundation Finance for a major plumbing job, beware. In our experience, they do not honor their obligations, avoid accountability, and refuse to provide proof ad will falsely proof of proper repairs. I would never recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and ethical plumbing service. read more

We had a burst pipe in our backyard while we were out of town. Josh Owner of Diamond House plumbing came out and said, that we needed to repipe the entire inside and outside of our home. Otherwise he could fix the pipe but the next weak pipe would burst down the road. I asked how much this would cost. He quoted me $38,925.00 I asked if they had financing, because we couldn't afford to do it otherwise. He asked if we could pay 50% up front and I again said no. Without finance we could only afford to fix the one pipe. He took my information for to see if I qualified for a loan. I explained that my husband had some health issues and missed some payments because of it. Even though he was all caught up his credit suffered a good score. I said that my credit was pretty good, however my husband was the one bringing in the income. Josh placed me on a long hold and would he came back on the line he told me I had been approved for 100% of the loan with monthly payments of $570.00. The loan documents were sent to me and I signed everything. I told Josh that we were getting on a cruise ship the next day and that I would be unreachable for one week. I left him both our adult children's phone number in the event they needed to speak to anyone. ( they never tried to call either of our adult Children). About 3 days into our cruise I got an email that they needed to add my husband to the loan, because he was the one who made the money. I told the receptionist that my phone wouldn't be able to call out until the next day when I got to port. I phone them the next day and she said they would only do the loan if my husband was added. I again explained that his credit was less then good and she said that okay they just needed him on there for proof of income. We never heard anything from them for the rest of the trip, so we just assumed everything was good When we got home I found our very clean house now covered in a very thick Sheetrock dust and our air conditioner no longer would come on. Two days later Josh came to our house and said that we weren't approved for the loan. They had continued working knowing there wasn't a loan in place even though I told Josh before they ever started the only way we could do this was if we had 100% financing. I wasn't happy that they hadn't waited to do the work until they could reach me. Our house has been left in shambles holes everywhere which Josh told me before they started in his exact words they would take care of all the drywall. I have exposed copper pipes running up the back side of my house. They charged over $4k for an ugly exposed water filtration system that's not even plugged in. When I asked Josh about this, he said they could run an Extention cord. We have zero water now to our front lawn and mature ficus tress my gardeners said they disconnected those lines when repiping. Josh said every pipe would be replaced inside and out. Now my lawn and tress are going to die. The shattered a double sink marble vanity several outlets no longer work in our house including some bathrooms. Josh has been trying to strong arm us for medians payment. I again explained they should have done the job until they could have spoken to me about not having a loan. He said they will not fix any of the damage done to our house until they have 50% we have tried to get a credit line, but are having trouble. We paid they $2090.00 dollars this month that was all that we could swing. $90 was a credit card surcharge which is illegal in California. We are planning of making payments each month until we can find a loan. We feel very tricked, conned, scammed into doing a job that we told them up front we couldn't afford with lout getting finance. They should have stopped work immediately when the loan didn't go through. That in itself should be illegal. On top of the stress of my husband's illness we now have this financial hardship added to our stress. That should have never happened. Don't trust this company they are shady. read more

Honestly I think this company makes their money thru upsale. I feel like he thought he came across a female that doesn't know about repairs and attempted to take advantage. He recommended a camera in the kitchen drain to attempt locating a leak. Several hundred dollars for a guy to come out with a cheesy Rigid brand camera then he advised since it was a kitchen drain there was grease and debris so nothing further could be done until over a thousand dollars more was spent to hydrogen the drain. This drain did not have a blockage so it would be a basic clean out hydrojet. As a plumber with experience, I feel that should have been addressed as a possible problem we could run into with the camera before I chose to invest in several hundred dollars for a 20 minute attempt to camera the drain. Next a leak was found with a toilet flange. Over $4000 was suggested for the repair!! This was an unnecessary repair that I was able to remedy myself for under $40. I will say he did the things he said he would do but I will also say his bill was unreasonable and I feel like he thought he had a sucker. Buyer beware... don't fall for his pitch. You presented yourself as a Christian but you are nothing more than an opportunist that thought a female wouldn't know any better. read more

They were given the property plans at the beginning of project They then wanted to charge 10,000 to move line. OVER price. Terrible communication with foreman. Got a Groupon offer for $37 for $100 of services to use with Diamond House Plumbing. My toilet flapper was leaking water and the flushmaster arm seemed to have a hard time filling up the toilet. I didn't know how to buy the parts so I thought I'd use this Groupon which was the perfect option. I called Diamond House set up an appointment, which went well, they were on time, and did the inspection on various things in our house, that took 15 minutes. Then they went out to their truck to make the estimate which took 30 minutes. At this point we called the company to ask what they were doing that was taking so long. So they came back in and told us that we had 2 Options: 1. Approximately $600 to replace the whole toilet. 2. Approximately $500 for parts and labor. Which we could not afford either one of those offers so we declined. That very next weekend it just so happened that my brother in law was in town. He looked at the toilet and saw that the flapper was warped and the flushmaster needed to be replaced. So he went to Home Depot picked up the parts that was less than $20 and took him 15 minutes to fix. Where do I begin? We recently purchased a home and septic had to be replaced. The owner at the time and escrow company contacted Diamond and they completed the septic replacement for $32,000. Prior to buying the home we obviously did a walk through. At the time the yard had dead grass that can easily be revived. It also had a working sprinkler system. Upon completion of the septic, the yard was absolutely destroyed. It was not leveled, nor graded. The grass it had is now rocks and dirt. Sprinklers are out of the ground. The concrete driveway is now broken. They also left loads of gravel (that was not there before) on the driveway! I reached out to Diamond and expressed my concerns and was asking if they can send someone to GRADE REMOVE THE GRAVEL AND LEVEL. At first they were courteous and willing to help. I sent them pictures of the yard and ACKNOWLEDGED they had not done the work correctly. FAST FORWARD to a few weeks. My patience was low and needed the issue resolved. The young lady at the front desk was given the task of handling my dilemma but I felt she was not capable of doing so. At this time I requested to speak with the owner to get my matter asap. She refused. After calling back a few more times I finally received an appointment for someone to go and level and complete the other problems. (Which I thought) Upon getting to the property I noticed an individual in the backyard with a rake. He confirmed he was from Diamond. At this point my patience was non existent. How can a company like Diamond send someone with a rake to level this huge yard?! As I'm talking to this guy I expressed my concern that the person who did the job did not do it correctly. The gentleman then responded "I did this work" At that point, I realized Diamond sent back the same exact guy who left the job site looking shitty. How can someone who left it shitty go back and fix his "mistakes" This is the same person who left the job site thinking he did a great job! Unbelievable!!! During the conversation I walked inside the home, not knowing to the gentleman the window was open and could clearly hear him talking shit to the office. I went back outside and the guy and his rake were gone. NOT COMPLETING THE JOB AGAIN. I reached out to the office very upset. I was being an angry customer with all means. I might have offended the young lady but never said any derogatory to her. The only thing I wanted was for them to fix the issues. After a few minutes she hung up on me purposely. A few minutes later some clown by the name of Josh a called me back. He completely went off and said not to call his office again because I was being rude. He told me he was not gonna fix shit and he was going to have his attorney sue me if I call back. The guy thought he was doing something good by flexing his authority in front of the office ladies. Josh should have got involved sooner and not run away from issues he has with customers. Instead he had the ladies handle the angry customer. Not sure what his position there was but if he has no clue how to handle angry customers. Instead he was telling off someone who has the ability to blast his business through every social media platform. Instead he took the other road and decided to make this tougher. Word of advice to Josh. Handle customers if you think they are being tough with the ladies at the office. Stop hiding behind them and only come through when they took all the heat. They deserve a raise for using them as a shield. Real tough. The story does not have a happy ending. Diamond will destroy the yard at any cost! They charged an 80 year lady $32000 dollars and did not finish the work. They took advantage of the situation. The old lady was alone and did not know better. All I asked from them was to grade,level, and remove the rock they left. Pleas do not hire DIAMOND. They act really nice and friendly but will have you kick rocks when shit hits the fan. Josh, take your balls back. I called you back so we can have a civil conversation man to man but you never returned my call. Are you waiting for your staff to call me back? read more

I was installing a hot water heater at my home and was stumped with a valve replacement. I called Diamond House and they had a plumber out to my house within hours on a Friday evening. The tech Saul was super helpful and even assisted in installing the hot water heater after he completed the valve replacement that he was called out for. Great company and great tech. Ulysses came out to do the initial investigation and was very thorough with checking everything inside and outside , turning off all water and monitoring water meter to determine that there is indeed a small leak. He was very helpful in explaining this first step and then next step for further detection. Ulysses was very professional and helpful in explaining process for detecting and potential root causes based on age of home and plumbing back in 1980s construction. LIE, they say a free estimate they lie. They came for flooding dishwasher, said free estimate, said they would take a look. I was working around the house and let them do their thing. Later called me over said I had something stuck in pipe, and a tube just disconnected from the dishwasher so water was flooding out, so he just pushed it back in. I asked what needed to be done, if anything needed repair, they said no, he said he already fixed the issues and it would be 450 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said it was a free estimate and I did not agree to any work, or know any work was being done, I thought he was taking a look. They said I had no choice, that the smallest fee for their work was 450, but that the work would be warrantied for 1 yr. I was pissed and had to use my college class money I saved to pay for it. I was happy it worked again, but they lied, and told me I had no choice but to pay to an amount I was not told or asked about, or that they did work without telling me until after. I paid and refrained from leaving a terrible review as they fixed the very small issue. Then a month goes by and the same tube unattaches due to it not being secured, again, so I call them. They say they only inspected and did nothing, and the person who came out said the same thing. I said "so I paid 450 for you guys to look at my dishwasher and do nothing? Then why was it 450?? I have a receipt and I was told their work had a year warranty, they said no sorry can not help you, unless we come out again and I said why so you can charge me 500 again to fix what you didn't really fix last time but charge me another 500, stay away. If you decide to give them a chance, keep an eye on them and tell them you will pay nothing without them asking for authorization for any repair even if it is just to push a tube down onto the nozzle to dishwasher. Be prepared to pay 450 which is what they told me was their minimum for their business !!! Lie NO FREE ESTIMATES, THEIR LOWEST COST IS 450 FOR NOTHING! I was not going to leave a review until they lied again and said tech said nothing was done or warrantied, even though I spent money I did not have to spend to pay for work I did not authorize because they said I had to pay it. We used Diamond House for an insurance claim after back-up sewage damaged our home to a tune of about $30,000 (which included sub contacting for restoration services, hydro-jetting, etc). They have some skilled, friendly workers (plumbing, sheetrock), however, I am still finishing their "completed" work and figuring out how to fix some of the remodel without spending several more thousands of dollars. When I tried to repeatedly raise concerns during the reconstruction, the response was usually "it's better than what you had". Finally, I signed the "Satisfaction of Completion" realizing that, after multiple attempts, they were unable or unwilling to complete the project. I was tired of being their "quality control". I wrote them a multiple page letter with details of the poor quality which they never acknowledged (until I sent it a second time with a cc to my insurance adjuster) in which they acknowledged that it had been received. No apology, acknowledgment their inconsistencies or any desire to make it right.....which is interesting considering the following "belief" statement from their website: We believe in doing what's right, not what's easy ​We believe that your time is valuable ​We believe in integrity and always doing what we say We believe you deserve the best work possible We believe relationships are more important than profit We believe low quality products are never a good idea We believe in triple checking all of our work to make sure the job is done right the first time. I could go into detail how their "belief" statement is far from what we experienced. By the way, I will give them a kudo's for choosing Service Master....5 Star. Excellent work, and they personally called to make sure everything was done correctly when they received a copy of my "review of the project".....and were willing to immediately come out and fix anything needed......but they didn't need to....they got it all right the first time). Suffice it to say, they have some good skilled workers, but our impression is that the company is either challenged by managerial competency or a primary focus on profits. In either case, we were on the wrong end. By the way, if you have a major project in your future, feel free to contact me. I'll forward you the multi-page letter outlining the serious deficiencies (that I've already sent to Diamond House) along with pictures if need be. You should at least know what to expect. read more

I had a leak coming from my upstairs bathroom into my powder room downstairs. I called several plumbers before deciding on Diamond House. Cesar came out and was quickly able to determine the problem (upstairs toilet leak) and give me 3 reasonable estimate options at no cost. Not only was he able to fix the leak, but he also repaired the ceiling drywall which had to be cut in order to do the repair!!
