While on vacation from out of town, I strained my back from overdoing it with several days of hiking. At the time, all massage businesses were closed due to shelter. The pain was severe, and I was afraid I'd have to end my trip early. Not being from the area I wasn't sure where to turn, but thankfully I found Dr. Dieter and he was able to see me the same day I called (I was in so much pain, I struggled to dress myself and could barely walk). Despite my back was as stiff as a wooden plank, Dr. Dieter was able to provide relief with a heavy-duty massage tool and some spinal & hip adjustments. He demonstrated some stretching exercises and provided other helpful information. I was relieved that I was actually able to walk upright when I left his office and I was still able to enjoy the rest of my days off. The other day I went into my first ever chiropractic appiontment so i didn't really know what to expect. I looked at some reviews on Yelp for a good chiropractor. Then I read this one for Dr. Backman which is not too far from my work place. I had some minor back discomfort from training at a gym so I called and made an appointment to see Dr. Dieter. Unfortunately my insurance wouldn't cover the visit as it is out-of-network, but decided to have an adjustment. After two weeks my back is great, I have more flexibility and was given some great tips on how to keep a better posture. I'll be coming back again and will also see the massage therapist next door. Long story short, he's on OK chiropractor but horrible at billing. If you have insurance, stay far far away from this chiropractor. I've had an ongoing issue with him for over a month. He refuses to call me back and dodges my insurance companies calls. Save yourself the insurance headache and go somewhere else. read more
