I had to clarify several times, and he seemed a bit irritated, but eventually the female masseuse came to help. There is a slight language barrier, but it didn't cause any real issues. Once everything was sorted out, my 30-minute neck massage was excellent. Despite the awkward moment at the beginning, the quality and affordability make it a place I would return to. Unfortunately, I recently learned that IMR is now charging a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, and I have to say, it really annoys me. In today's world, paying with a credit card is the norm, and accepting those processing fees has traditionally just been part of the cost of doing business. Seeing that expense passed directly on to loyal customers--especially members--was disappointing. I truly enjoy supporting this business and would much rather continue my membership, but this new surcharge has honestly made me question whether I want to keep it.
