Allegro has been amazing! It feels like a family and second home for my daughter and there is so much room for her to grow with Allegro as she ages. Lovely teachers, the owner is always friendly and present and checks on the classes, students, and parents. We love it at Allegro and will be there for years to come.

The favorites on the team will always get the best costumes and choreography, no matter what their actual skill level. The same kids get the solos over and over again and if your child isn't one of S's favorites, you might as well leave now. She will ensure that your child feels small and awkward. Dance Moms are a true thing here, and unfortunately a few run all over the team. I'm not sure where else to tell you to go as studios keep closing but i wish I could tell you inspire is really about inspiring your kids but i just don't feel that's the case anymore, especially this year with such gigantic teams. Alex is great but it's so big now, lots of kids get lost in the back.

The impact EBT has had on so many dancers, is truly amazing. The dancers learn to accept both success and not so much success, with grace and poise. They learn how to compete with others and then support and truly be a team, no matter who got the "starring" role. They created a bond with each other and the friendships stay for many, many, years, even after they leave. EBT has time commitments, just like any other sport. My daughter dances her technique classes throughout the week (2 Ballet & 1 pointe), and then Sept-Dec and Jan-May, her weekends are spent rehearsing for the shows (Nutcracker in Dec and a Spring show in May). There are times that she may not get to go to that "party" or "event", because she has rehearsal- but it's okay with her (and me). There are many days that she's exhausted, but if I was to ask her, if all of her hard work, sweat, and losing toenails is worth it?, she would smile and say "Yes, I'm going to bed, I have dance in the morning!" She loves being able to dance, learn new roles, and be with her friends. She has the utmost respect for her Artistic Director. She pushes my daughter to do things, that she doesn't think she can - but finds that she is stronger than she thought (Russian dance in Nutcracker 2015 was one of those times). There are volunteer hours, just like in any sporting event. I put in quite a few hours and some dollars, but it's for my daughter and she's worth it to me. Her joy, her love for dance, her love of learning new things, and to get to wear amazing costumes (I heared that wearing a platter tutu, in "Alice in Wonderland" 2016 Spring show was "a dream come true"). I absolutely think that being a part of EBT has made a huge impact on how my daughter reacts to situations that she's put in. I also completely enjoy working my volunteer hours with all of the other parents! We work the shows, we paint, we put together props, we visit, we wait an extra 10-15 minutes (sometimes more) for late rehearsals, we have coffee breaks - it's a Family. A family that I am so happy that we are a part of.

I've had three personal trainers for different programs that was interested in and I found Kelly Smith to be particularly helpful in dealing with some issues I had with sciatica.. she emphasized how you can develop strength and mobility, making my workout time more efficient. Her glutes and sciatica training were extremely helpful and I have not seen those exercises in any online videos.
