Life changing, truly. I've been taking beginner adult ballet classes once a week with Kim for about 8 months now (starting with intro to ballet, then Ballet 1). I was nervous to sign up at first, it feels like I haven't moved my body since cheerleading in high school years ago, but I'm glad I took the chance. The minute you walk through the studio doors, you leave all your problems behind. It is an incredibly supportive environment and everyone is SO kind. I am living out a childhood dream of taking ballet classes and Kim's classes are the right balance of fun and challenging. I've seen many other women with similar stories come through the same doors, nervous at first, and quickly falling in love (or back in love) with ballet. It is the highlight of my week, every week. Kim knows everyone's name, provides really excellent feedback to improve, and always has me giggling in class. I just recently bumped up my pass to 10 classes a month so I can come back more! I have also taken a Jazz 1 class with Megan and had a blast! Very high energy and reeeally fun choreography. I'm looking forward to returning for more classes with her and trying out some other types of dance within the studio in the future. I also love that there is an opportunity to stream classes if you can't get over to the studio in person. If you're contemplating signing up for classes, DEFINITELY go for it! Do it for yourself. This place is a really great community! The people there not only make it feel like it's a safe and comfortable place to be in, but it's also a place where you can go to enjoy and have fun taking dance classes. There's no pressure whatsoever and it's just a great place to go pick up a few new dance moves/tricks you can use to show off next time you're at a gathering. It's for people who have no dance experience at all to those who are more advanced dancers, so it's open to anyone! Age is definitely not even a factor here as the clientele ranges all across the board! I highly recommend this place for anyone who's nervous but want to learn to dance or to those who want to advance their dance skills! read more

I went here for a Burlesque style class and really enjoyed it. First off I was impressed by how clean everything was. I have zero Burlesque experience and minimal dance experience. I thought the choreography we learned was really fun, cute, and not too hard for begginers. The instructor broke it down really well and emphasized it isn't about getting every move perfect but having fun! I definitely did. There was groundwork so I wish they would've told us to bring knee pads however the instructor gave us a no ground work variation I was just too stubborn to do it! read more

I LOVE the class, the music, and Steven! I am not a fan of fitness - and this class gets me moving and sweating. I love it! It also incorporates many of my own PT exercises - that is an added benefit. The core work and the weights make it even better! I did the 4 classes for $40 as a new client. The music is so fun and I spend most of the class remembering where I was when that song was popular. I will be signing up for more!! This is such a fun way to get our sweat on! I was excited about trying this place, I purchased a new client offer online. At that time in late April midst of COVID-19 it did not state an expiration date. When I showed up I was informed after filling out my client form that it had expired, and it was only good for 30 days. I was disappointed as I had been postponed to come to wait for my grandma to be vaccinated as I had to care for her. I stated this and he said that it should have been on my receipt. I don't look at my MINDBODY receipts, it should have been stated before pressing purchase. I know when I purchased the promo it did not notify me as I use the app frequently. I said how much is the class for today? I was informed a drop in was 20$ at this point just to try the facility would cost me 60$ I was not willing to pay that. So I said thanks and quickly left as I already wasted time coming there and filling out forms. I then received an e mail 20 min later sayin sorry you were not happy with our client offer, you left so fast I couldn't offer you the first class complimentary. I found this interesting since this gentlemen, the owner, had just told me the class was 20$. Be mindful of this experience. I won't be spending anymore of my money here.I love dance class and this probably would have been a decent place to attend regularly as I'm new to the area. But now, after poor customer service I'd rather go elsewhere. read more

The teachers are knowledgeable dancers - they are nice and helpful and will correct form so you get the most out of the exercises. The studio has enough space and equipment and is kept clean so everyone is comfortable and it's not overcrowded. Everyone is friendly and encouraging - it is a nice atmosphere. I mentioned the studio to a friend after I had taken the barre class - she joined and got a lot out of the barre class workout. We are ready for more! read more

Everything about the Studio Issaquah is fantastic. It has a great, inclusive, and friendly atmosphere. I always feel safe while I'm there as all teachers are focused not just on teaching dance and movement, but on doing it safely for all students. I have never had a bad experience there and I have been a member for several years. No matter which class I'm in I feel welcome and always have a great time. I love this dance studio! I've been taking intro tap and Steven is a knowledgable and patient teacher. I love his enthusiasm. I'm now 2 months into it and have learned so much and am having tons of fun. 80's cardio is also a fun and energetic workout that will get you sweating. RIPPED is a fabulous class and brings a range of moves and intensities. I love that it incorporates strength training and cardio and Joanna tailors the class to all levels and body types. I go to the Beginner tap class at The Studio on Tuesdays, and I really enjoy it! Steven, the owner and tap instructor, keeps class challenging and fun, & you can tell he really loves what he does! My wife and I have been taking the intro to tap lessons on Tuesday nights with Steven. It's been super fun and we've been going at a good pace, adding new skills every week and getting the repetitions of all the skills we've already learned. The class is a great environment with lots of other fun people. I will keep coming because even when new things are hard to learn, Steven always tries to help out and provide additional coaching to each member of the class. Highly recommended. read more

This studio is fantastic for adult barre and dance classes. Jazzercize is taught there, too, but I haven't tried it yet. The barre and dance classes are good for anyone - an adult like me who used to dance but hadn't much (until recently) after being busy with children and work or an adult looking for a less boring way of exercising than going to the gym. The teachers are knowledgeable and welcoming. The studio is clean and cheerful. I feel so much happier after taking classes here. Highly recommend! read more

This is an awesome studio! I take the Hip Hop Active and 1980's Aerobics classes and they're SO MUCH FUN! Both classes are just the right level and intensity (mid) for me so it's perfect for my activity level. The instructors are great and they play awesome music! It's a small studio and the people are nice and friendly! I recommend running (or dancing!) there to try it out! I live in Seattle and drive out of my way to go there! read more

I hate going to the gym...but wanted to add a fun new activity for 2017 to my workout routine. The studio was the perfect choice. I get a great workout, lots of variety, and the flexibility to choose which classes fit my schedule and interests. I have tried 80's aerobics, Zumba, hip hop active and BollyX and loved them all.
