Unfortunately, I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience regarding the quality of service and workmanship I received. After being informed that my bike also required an engine tune-up, I agreed to proceed. However, when I picked up the motorcycle, I immediately noticed that it was leaking oil and had to return to have that issue corrected. Shortly after, the bike would not start. I was told the battery was the problem, so I purchased a new one. Even with the new battery installed, the bike still would not start. I was then informed that the starter was the issue, which required bringing the bike back into the workshop again. It appeared that the starter may have been bypassed just to get the bike running. These were problems I did not experience prior to bringing my motorcycle in for service. In total, I paid $340, and I am left feeling that I may have been overcharged for unsatisfactory work. To make matters worse, my license plate frame was removed and replaced with a Scooter Ave branded frame without my consent. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the service and cannot recommend doing business with Scooter Ave based on my experience.

Dropped off my 2002 America to have the carburetors gone over, I normally do my own work but was to…read morebusy. Picked up the bike and it ran a little better but felt like it was starving for fuel and was charged $700 because it took 7 hours (?). I recently did an air box removal and had to install different jets which I did. The ones removed were all chewed up by someone using the wrong screwdriver and one of them had a piece of brass partially covering the hole And it was not me. I completed the air box removal, re jetted the carbs and put everything back together in 4 hours. The air box removal requires more disassembly (rear wheel removal). If you want to throw away good money go see Wes. The bike runs great now.

I was informed by FedEx that my item won't be delivered until 11 days after ordering. Demons Cycle took my money, including the additional fee for expedited delivery, and didn't tell me they didn't have the part in stock and had to order it from another vendor. It seems Demons Cycle has very little stock and most items are dropped shipped from the original vendor/manufacturer, begging the question, why order from the middle man.....next time I will go direct to the manufacturer, or I'll order from a reputable supplier like Revzilla or JP Cycles, who ship within 24 hours and honor expedited shipping arrangements. I'm now waiting to see how Demons Cycle handles my complaint, maybe I'll be surprised and will be able to provide a positive update to this review. Positive update: they refunded the value of shipping, and they offered me a $25 gift card and a free t-shirt. It won't have me out riding my shit on the weekend, but it does indicate this is not their expected level of service.
