A warning for anyone looking for concrete contractors -- DO NOT USE Nathanael Miller (Nathan…read moreMiller)/American Brothers Contracting/American Brothers Concrete/Miller and Sons Concrete. He did a terrible job on a patio he just poured. He will tell you exactly what you want to hear and make himself sound like a stand-up man, but I assure you he IS NOT! In his words, "We put our pride and soul in our work and guarantee our work. If you have any issues afterwards, you can always call me and I will come fix it". He was consistently hours late for appointments,, he had men show up to help him that he claimed he didn't know (and they obviously had never done this before), ruined the grass by leaving wood and equipment on it for weeks, the patio is not up to industry standards by any means, it's not useable (the steps are crumbling and uneven and there are dips throughout the patio where water puddles), and it is the sloppiest workmanship I have ever seen (lines of the stamped concrete aren't straight, the border only goes ¾ of the way around the perimeter, the stamps are uneven and overlap each other, there are holes in the surface, none of the sides of the patio are straight). After pouring a sloppy, unusable patio, completely trashing the entire yard with rocks and concrete (as well as a pile of trash that included beer cans), staining and removing parts of the siding, leaving piles of concrete on the property nextdoor, he agreed it was awful and said he wanted to make it right by ripping it out and re-doing it. He made plans to come back two days later and we haven't heard from him since. He will not return calls, text or emails. He took $9k and left us with an unusable patio, a huge mess to clean up, and another huge expense of ripping it out and re-doing it ourselves. After a deeper look, it appears he has done this to other customers in the past. He has multiple different names that he operates or has operated under, most likely because he wanted to get rid of past negative reviews or he's running from the money he owes people. Within days, he took down his Facebook page showing this review. They are taking legal action and will be reaching out to anyone they can help right this. Please learn from their mistakes and find someone else. This man clearly has no idea what he's doing and is a fraud. The victims in this case are new homeowners and are learning. They have too much faith in humanity. Its a lot worse than the pictures show.
