Be cautious with Tom Taber's Whole Tree Care by Trapper's Tree Service. I recommended their…read moreservices to two of my neighbors, but afterwards discovered problems with their last job for me (e.g., the stump grind in 2016). Gale (I assume their sub-contractor) was to contact me BEFORE coming out to do the tree stump grind so I could give my neighbor a heads-up to remove their fence panel for complete stump access. Not only did Gale (or anyone from Trapper's for that matter contact me in advance) but the job was done when I was out of town. Since I was not home (or notified) I did not have time to request that my neighbor have his fence panel removed which he agreed to do if I gave him the heads up. The fence panel needed to be removed so that the grinder could access the complete stump via my neighbor's property. Also, this company left me with a huge pile of mulched wood to clean up which I would have been more than happy to pay to be removed. Once I removed the large pile of mulched wood from the stump area, to my disappointment I found that the stump grind had not been completed. I followed up with this company with no return phone calls or emails. I can not recommend this company.

He came out and listened to what I needed and was able to make suggestions. He took the time to walk all of my property and explain what was needed to fix my drainage issue in my backyard. Not only did he and his team fix the issue but also made the fix look really nice and reseeded my back yard as well. Josh is great and really cares about his customers. His entire team worked hard and did a fantastic job. A pleasant group of young men. I will be using JK Landscaping again to do some decorative landscaping and replace my fence in the future. The photos, taken after a rain storm, show the area that used to be a "pond" after every rain. No more pond!

He told me the day after they "finished" that he was coming to get payment but didn't bother asking if I was satisfied (I wasn't). It came to the point that I asked the owner that the sales rep not return to my property as he made me feel unsafe and harassed. I have a good 30 minute recording of him yelling at me because I said they didn't do a good job laying soil and grass seed as I asked in the quote. The posted photos are blue seed that I had to entirely reseed MYSELF about 3 weeks after none of their new seeding took because they, deceivingly, only laid straw without any seeding underneath. They've ALSO been supposedly mowing our lawn as well but only mow the front after I told them I had to replant their failures in the back and they have yet to mow the back for over a month and a half now. Because I asked them to not mowover my new growth that I laid out. On top of ALL of this. The owner promised to "make it right." Has yet to come back out to address any issue I mentioned. Has even "no-showed" on two occasions after scheduling a specific date and time with me. Have also been calling for months to cancel service with no return calls. Every single one goes to voicemail. In our case, my husband likes to cut the lawn himself, but then we have Owen do the mulching, edging, trimming etc., etc. And believe me it looks a lot better when he does it rather than my husband!!!
