We stopped here to watch the Thunder game. It because more of a date night than just going to a…read moresports bar. They have about 4 TVs and it wasn't super crowded. It's $5 to get in but all the games are free after. It's a $10 minimum at the bar as well. The drinks weren't too over priced but just know if you're going to get a drink you're likely spending $15 at a minimum to be there. Not too bad for a date night spot. The games are retro and fun! We enjoyed our night here.

It probably took me 10 minutes of walking around to find the studio. Only after stopping a girl that was walking back to her car and asking, was I able to find it. The storefront is all window. Which is why I don't understand why they don't take artistic liberties and paint the windows (with something non-permanent) so passers-by can easily tell what the building's business is. After ordering a glass of wine, (at least they have some $5 glasses) and sitting near the front, I noticed that the painting at the front of the room was not the painting that I thought I would be doing. I brought my concern to the artist , and she informed me, after checking the calendar, that the painting I went for was actually on Tuesday. My bad. BUT! Chloe was awesome and got me some green and let me go at it making the painting I wanted, rather than following the class. Halfway through she found a copy of the painting and brought it over so I could look at it rather than at my dying phone (which was grainy because of the size of the picture anyways). In the end I was pretty happy with the painting though it wasn't exactly like the example - it's not supposed to be, right? The staff was a lot nicer this time around, but considering my overall experience and the price, I'm sticking with my 2*s

West Fest was a breath of fresh air for us that live in NW OKC. It's nice to see the community come…read moretogether and enjoy the local businesses. I know the main focus was music, but most people were uninterested, and just socialized. I personally liked going into the different venues and trying the food and drinks. No one has limited menus today, which was awesome. Never even had to wait on a table! We started the day at the Tasting Room where they had $5 burgers or brats. Sat outside on their awesome patio and enjoyed the weather. Loved the tables the festival put in the middle of the street. Sat at one for a bit and chatted with friends and saw a bunch that were walking by. The music inside The Barrel was fun, such a great atmosphere. They had drink specials and it was a chill environment. We then went across the street to Drum Room for dinner and they also had drink specials. Our table of 5 shared some chicken and waffles and left very happy after having some club specials that were priced at $4. All in all, was a great day- enjoyed the event.

Their kitchen was backed up over an hour and items on the menu started getting dropped. Waitress said we cleaned out the kitchen. They had karaoke on Wednesday and everyone was having a great time. As a Husker fan in town, we dominated the environment and it quickly turned into a Husker bar. Idk how the bartenders ended up with Husker tank tops but they embraced the madness and rolled with it! Only star i had to knock off was them not having the AC on while the bar was PACKED wall to wall on a 98 degree day. We had to leave and go next door because it was so uncomfortable. Went to Remington Park after a convention dinner with a group of friends…read more The good: Very close to Oklahoma City. Such an easy drive. Limited traffic at 10 PM. Parking is free and plentiful. The not so good: Smoking!! The casino is so smoky. I had to take a shower after getting back to our OKC hotel. Not a gambler, but they had no tables. Just slots. Lots and lots of slot machines. This isn't Vegas, baby. An interesting excursion, but would probably not go again.

The food was pretty good, and the service was also pretty good. It was convenient to have a restaurant right there. After the races, we went to the casino. It's slots only (no card games), but it was still fun and added to the experience. That said, there were some safety concerns. We noticed several individuals who felt questionable, and it made parts of the evening uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend women attending alone or without a male companion, especially later in the evening. Overall, it has a lot of potential and was enjoyable, but the atmosphere and security presence could be improved. Because of that, I'd rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
