Started off rough Wednesday night when they weren't prepared for the influx of March Madness and Husker fans. Their kitchen was backed up over an hour and items on the menu started getting dropped. Waitress said we cleaned out the kitchen. They had karaoke on Wednesday and everyone was having a great time. As a Husker fan in town, we dominated the environment and it quickly turned into a Husker bar. Idk how the bartenders ended up with Husker tank tops but they embraced the madness and rolled with it! Only star i had to knock off was them not having the AC on while the bar was PACKED wall to wall on a 98 degree day. We had to leave and go next door because it was so uncomfortable. This is actually a very cool place! I will say it is very dark in there as you can see from my wings & fries picture. So, the picture sucks, but the wings were incredible! I ordered 6 of the buffalo wings with Nashville dust and they were absolutely delicious. The fries were very good too! My buddy ordered the Kenny's Dead wings and let me tell you, I LOVE spicy food and this was absolutely the hottest chicken wing I have ever eaten. So, be warned!!! Stopped by here on my way to an OKC playoff game, it was fairly empty, a nice chill sports bar environment. The servers were very attentive and nice, recommended the best things on the menu and gave honest reviews of what they liked and didnt like. The wings are some of the best wings I HAVE EVER HAD, no clue how they did it but it was literally fall off the bone but crispy at the same time. If you picked up a wing the meat would literally just fall off and the sauce was amazing, even the fries were good as they were seasoned and extra crispy. read more

Husband wanted to have drinks after a long day and he chose to come here. As his wife and designated driver, I gladly accommodated. We came on a weekday around 3-4pm. Hardly anyone was there but we were immediately greeted by a friendly bartender who looked like a white version of Jason Mamoa (a little grungy, a little sweaty but definitely nice to look at. Don't tell my husband). Our bartender did it all - took our drink orders, took our food orders, wish he took me over... just kidding but not really. Ugh, I digress.... where was I? Drinks were good (not great) but food was pretty nice. Music (90's alternative) was fantastic until another patron requested country (meh). I ordered the whiskey burger and wings combo. I wasn't sure if I would like the whiskey sauce but I ended up sopping up the excess sauce with the fries that also came with the combo. I'm a sucker for a dive bar with craft beer. This place has great vibes good drink selection, plenty of TVs and wonderful service to boot! Our bartender was very attentive during my visit! Stopped in for food before a baseball game. It's walking distance from the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Chicken nachos were delicious with so many jalapeños. This place is a nice environment but expensive as heck. I ordered a jack and Coke and also ordered a couple shots of Coke and I used a Coke back. When I closed out and saw my receipt, they charge me separately for the Coke in the cocktail and the couple cokes that I used as Coke back for my shots.350 every time I used Coke. On top of that it's like a few ounces of Coca-Cola but I'm getting charged for a whole Coca-Cola. Be aware of these downtown bars overcharging you for nonsense. read more

So I ordered an old fashioned without sugar... and I was brought a sweetened old-fashioned... so I went to the bar and she gave me a whiskey with water added (I watched her put water in from the fountain). I asked for just a whiskey... got it. But then I got the bill and she charged me for the old-fashioned. The bartender happened to be manager and she was so so rude about it. She said "this isn't a tasting room"... SHE put sugar in the drink... and the SHE put water in the whiskey. How is either of that my fault?! Will not be back!! We dropped in to this place before an event at The Paycom Center. It is walking distance from the arena! The place was packed on a Saturday night with sports fans watching the multiple TVs. You will stand in line a while to get a drink and if you are lucky you will get a table. The drinks were good and servers did a great job in the middle of the chaos. Food was a little slow getting out but worth the wait. I would have given this place 5 stars if they had more seating. I understand it's a bar but the late afternoon crowd was there to experience a sports bar - which requires some seating. We would possibly come back for drinks but I wouldn't plan on coming to sit down and enjoy a meal. It's too hit and miss. read more

Came here with my spouse to watch live music on a Saturday night. The music was great and the bartender was attentive. There wasn't a drink menu in sight so we opted for vodka cran and an old fashioned. The drinks were okay...expectations were low since we weren't sure what cocktails they had to offer (if any?). We did not open a tab and closed it immediately after getting our drinks. Today after checking my credit card statement, I see that I was charged $29! The tab was $19 and I tipped $4. Came here meeting an out of town friend and his wife. My buddy got an old fashioned, his wife got a Disaronno on the rocks (and if you don't remember that commercial, you're probably short of the legal age to come in here), and I got Blue Moon. Accessibility: Not bad. Right off the main thoroughfare in Bricktown, there's a ramp from the parking lot (that I only missed because I wasn't paying attention -- interestingly my friend also missed the turn to the parking lot and had to double back), which leads to the entrance which itself has a ramp. Made it in, no problem. Bathroom was also plenty large enough for me when I needed to check my ostomies before leaving. We were able to sit at a low top with no problem from anyone as well (me climbing up to a bar is problematic given ongoing spinal column problems). Drinks: Blue Moon was served just right with the orange slice. My friend's old fashioned, according to him was quite good, and I didn't check with his wife about the Disaronno but I'm sure it was also good. Atmosphere: I get the sense it's kind of a hole in the wall given how small it is. But it was fine... on a Sunday night at 7:30, I don't expect it to be jam packed. TV's were playing all of the major sports so that's nice. Overall, I gotta give Whiskey Chicks a 5/5. Fun times had by all. read more

I sometimes travel to OKC and I always like to stop in. The name of the place initially attracted me. I enjoy the bar, they always have specials during the week (which include an adult beverage and food), and the food is okay. It's bar food after all. The bartenders are always really friendly. Was looking for a parking spot and tequila bar, but after driving around and only finding a parking spot, I changed over to whiskey. Walked in and the two most prominent things are the bar and the band stage with a dance floor. So old school country bar vibes. The bar is a little tall at about 4 +feet high. Being that I like to stand, was a little awkward. They have an extensive whiskey menu...with that said though...I struck out with the first 3 I wanted to try as they were out of them. Once I found one they had, was able to settle in, enjoy the band and engage in some witty banter with the friendly bartenders and locals...really makes one feel welcome. Highly recommend this location for anyone visiting OKC that DONT want the "touristy" vibe. That just want a place you can relax and have a tasty beverage. read more

The service was terrible - the bartender was too concerned about flirting with a group of drunk guys to pay attention to anyone else. Then my second drink (trying to give her the benefit of the doubt...) was a margarita that was all sweet and sour and no tequila... I understand ordering at the bar on busy nights. My friends and I were walking down the street in Oklahoma City and we came across a bar that looked unassuming and inviting. We entered and were greeted with smiles and a vibe that said, "Have some drinks, relax, and enjoy your time." The music was varied and fun, the decor atractive without being fake or pretentious, but the real stars of the show are the "Chicks." The drinks we ordered were always made with flair, but not for the sake of performance. They were made tasty; not too strong (which, believe it or not, ruins far too many cocktails) and not watered down. Quality ingredients, a great Whiskey and Scotch collection, and the right glasses for the drinks (something else a lot of places miss) make this a great place to visit. Is it the trendiest place? Nope. Is it the "New hotness?" Nope. Is it a dive bar? Not exactly. Is it a fun place to go with great service, great drinks, and just the right amount of laid back? Absolutely. The live music was good, but honestly, just hanging out on a Saturday afternoon, talking with Victoria and Vanessa, and imbibing some very tasty cocktails was the real prize. Oh, and try to B.I.T.
