Yum. Fresh made to order Turkey and Havarti Sandwich on fresh ciabatta roll with arugula and aioli. The roll was so fresh it crushed down and the turkey was a hearty pile of thinly sliced meat. Fabulous. The bakery case spoke to me and I ordered a lemon curd custard filled donut sprinkled with lemon sugar. I can't explain the gush of fresh lemon flavor in the soft pillowy donut. Really special. Tomorrow morning I look forward to the pecan covered cinnamon roll. It looks luscious. The coffee shop has a citrus leaning coffee blend that perfectly went with lemon donut. Busy on Sunday morning at both the coffee and bakery counters, but service was fast and friendly. We grabbed 2 BYO (made to order) breakfast sandwiches, a couple sweet treats, and a coffee. This place has THE best cinnamon rolls. I can't even eat gluten because of intolerance but I'll risk the stomachs just to enjoy their warm gooey soft perfectly sweet cinnamon rolls first thing in the morning. Great people working there, love the inside decor. read more

Bad Dog is an amazing family run, bakery in McMinnville with some of the best bagels and homemade English muffin sandwiches I have ever had. In addition, the maple bars, sticky buns, and everything else they make is delicious. There is an independent barista bar and a large area to hang out in with free Wi-Fi. Definitely my go to spot and the best bagels I've ever had (sorry NYC). read more

Holy cheese!! This was my first visit to bad dog bakery and I was not let down. I wasn't craving sweets and they had a few savory items. The cheese (something) was so delicious. I loved that they offered to toast it. Business seemed to be steady there and not too busy. Very quick to get items out. I would love to come back to enjoy their outdoor dining! read more

Incredible newish place that is my go-to for breakfast sandwiches, they of course have pastries which aren't really what I'm interested in but they look great. Everything is made in house, I see they have a few lunch options so might check that out. The building is in a funky shape but don't hold it against them they're using the space better than the last two businesses. The only negative is that this place is getting too popular! I don't have much of a sweet tooth so when I go to bad dog BAKERY, I always get their English muffins. They are the best English muffins I've ever had.! they will toast it for you and put jam on it or cream cheese if you like or you can order one of their breakfast sandwiches with the English muffin. I just prefer mine toasted with butter and jam and I always buy extra to bring home I don't know who created the recipe together for this, but it's perfection! read more

The cinnamon rolls have changed my life for the better. The sweet one breakfast sammy is top notch. There is cozy seating in the back and a small rear patio for dogs but I typically grab and go. Service is medium speed for sandwiches like in a way you know they're building masterpieces not slamming things together. Times out real well with ordering a latte next door at Summon Coffee (also 5 stars). I love this place!! read more

Delicious! We picked up cinnamon rolls, a brownie, maple bars, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was so good. We were visiting family and stopped in to pick up some breakfast. I wish they were open more days, we would have gone back at least 2 more times! Even our family has since gone back to get another cinnamon roll. Highly recommended!! read more

We were staying in McMinnville to pick up some wine and stopped here for breakfast on a sunny morning before heading to the park to toss discs. The girl at the counter was friendly and answered all our questions with a smile. The breakfast sandwiches were wonderful. I had the avocado toast on a bagel and my husband had a build your own sandwich on an English muffin. Coffee and hot chocolate next door and our breakfast was complete. The "dining area" was pretty noisy so we opted to eat in the coffee shop. read more

Okay so to start off, I'm just their pest control guy so my experience with them is much different from most people's on a general basis However, after providing their treatment today, they offered two boxes of assorted pastries and LET ME TELL YOU, the absolute spongiest brownies I've ever had in the best way possible! The other doughnuts (specifically the Boston Cream) was amazing. Youd think I was a vacuum the way i DEVOURED two brownies and the doughnut. Highly recommend trying this place out if you haven't already! Thank you all for the delicious sweets! read more

Roth's is my source for Roelli's Red Rock Cheese (an ultra-creamy bleu cheddar that is divine paired with fruit and nut crisps), local SCL's Muruku noodles, and locally grown cut flowers. They are the most prolific purveyor of nicer cheese that I have found in Mcminnville, and though space dedicated to wine is in no shortage at most grocers in the area, Roth's is pleasantly displayed and fun to shop. They have some houseplants and gifts, a decent bakery and deli, a rather large produce and bulk selection, and even offer sushi. Customer service is top priority and it shows - waits in line are never long, and every employee is agreeable and friendly. They have glass and aluminum recycling out front. Selection is limited for some items, notably pharmacy and bath and body, but that is probably not what you're shopping for here anyway. Prices can be a smidge high, but they also have good sales, and overall, it is a good choice for groceries, especially if you are seeking local products or avoiding support of larger chains.
