This small shop is amazing and totally worth the drive if you're looking for something local! They have a variety of local goods, from their famous jams and pies to honey and even T-shirts. There's definitely a little something for everyone. Their baked goods were amazing! I especially loved the crust on their pies. But another hidden gem has to be their toasted macaroons. They had the perfect balance of a golden, toasted exterior and a soft, gooey center. AMAZING! We stopped in because we wanted some treats. The goods here are delicious. They also have some gluten free items. We know the brand and the quality because we have picked up these pies occasionally in various locations. I was primarily looking for an apple crumble pie, a frozen one I could take home to cook later. I was totally floored to see they also have these GINORMOUS chicken pot pies that are just as big as the other fruit based pies. A 10 inch chicken pot pie!? How medieval, I had to get one of those as well. These pies are all double crusted, not just a layer of crust on top, but an actual encased pie. A layer of crust, chicken pot pie filling and a layer of crust on top. Outstanding! ....but then we saw the treats and kinda lost it. Monstrous cookies. We got some Ranger cookies as well that are a delicious combination of dried fruits and nuts. The chocolate chip cookies look great, haven't chomped on that one yet. Then I saw the banana coffee cake. That one didn't make it out of the parking lot. The cake was pretty large for a single serving. It was very moist with a frosting drizzled across the top, and the banana flavor was spot on perfect. We felt like a couple of kids in this store being excited about all these offerings. We also ended up getting a hand held cherry pie and an apple pie. They were shaped like a pasty in a crust and went down easy. So many different treats, so little time. At least I got my apple pie for later and the chicken pot pies, very interested in that one. This is definitely a Mom and Pop shop, or should I say a 'Mom and Daughter' shop. They are very friendly. Talk about out of the way places , what a gem! It's like a little gift shop with novelty items and pies! Out for a ride and ended up In Amity. Greeted by one of the friendliest vendors, gave us the tour, explained the whole process from picking the fruit to making their pies, turns out we recently bought one of their pies from a local high end store (and truly enjoyed it) so needless to say we bought a frozen Marion berry pie and a savory pie (smoked brisket)! We have since eaten both and can honestly say damn! We will be back! read more

This review is for their Marionberry pie. I didn't exactly buy the pie from this main location, but I bought it at a local farm just down the road from my home. Took it home, heated it up in the oven and took one bite, and I was in heaven. This is the first time I've ever tasted marionberry and I found out that this fruit was developed here in Oregon back in the 50s. I'm used to raspberries and blueberries, but this is a very unique berry, especially made with this pie that has a really nice and delicious crust. Now I've decided what pie to serve during Thanksgiving. Can't wait again to have this pie in a few months. read more

I'm sorry about what's happening to Blue Raeven in Amity. The freezer case is often empty, the baked goods look tasty but are so often under- or over-cooked we stopped buying them. And now they've raised the price of their milkshakes (best described as medium sized) to $10 and cut the amount of ice cream, so we got shakes that were the consistency of smoothies for $20. The ever-changing staff is still friendly but that's not enough. Sadly, we won't return. read more

This has been my go to for a pie for a dessert or other occasion. The hubby prefers pie to cake so we often will have birthday pie. They make these fresh and ready to go but they have the option to take a frozen one to bake later on. There are many other food items and trinkets here that I have not tried so I look forward to trying them in 2025. read more

Oh my goodness I am not usually a buy cookies somewhere person but my best friend Walt and I shared a snickerdoodle and a macaroon and they were so delicious but then I started looking at their lunch menu and a lady took a sandwich to go and she showed it to me and I ordered a sandwich for us to share. It was delicious & and excellent value! The people that are working here are smiling from the heart and making you feel welcomed... in today's world. This is a rarity! And have I mentioned how cute it is inside? Even the bathroom! Whoever's running this business has hired wonderful people and I am so thankful! The large cream pies (coconut, key lime, etc) are excellent! The mini pies of those flavors are terrible. The cream is over stabilized to the point that it is hard and tastes terrible. I will be back for the large pies, but never again for the mini ones. read more

Blue Raeven Farms is one of the very best. They have a cute gift shop and fresh veggies of the season. But most of all they have the very best pies. There is a great variety of fresh pies whether it be cream pies, fresh fruit and berry pies or meat pot pies. Crust is always perfectly cooked every time. We live too close, it definitely causes us to buy a couple pies a month. But we aren't complaining. Staff are always helpful and service is quick. read more

Great pie place! I came with my mother in law specifically for some pies for our family dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they had several that were slightly discounted. Not because they were old but because they had too much of the fruit (they were still cooked fresh that day) We ordered the peach pie (regular price) and also got the Razzle Dazzle (discounted to $12). Over the next two days I had a slice of each and they were so good, not overly sweet. The second day I used some of the peach filling on the side of my razzle dazzle slice and that was delicious. When I'm back up to visit, we will be back to get some more. In addition to pies they have a room full of local products like nuts, wine, jams, etc. This could be a great place to find a unique gift item. Bad... Really Bad Ah, what could be better than a marionberry pie? Well, just about any pie not made by Blue Raeven. The crust is weird -- sort of a crumbly brown mat, not at all flaky, and tasting of old lard/shortening/butter. The inside was no better, with way too much thickener. There is no nutrition label on the product, so there's no telling just how much saturated fat is in the product, but it's a lot; lard ranked third in the ingredient list, followed by shortening and oil. This was the second Blue Raeven pie we've tried to eat, and both were the same. The congealed interior was edible, but the crust inedible, suitable only for the garbage. Charging $9 for this tiny two-person pie is ridiculous. read more

These pies are the best I've had in Oregon. The signature Blue Raeven pie features blueberries, Mario berries and blackberries. Holy berries, Batman! The pumpkin pie was also delicious at Thanksgiving. The apple crumble was great but not the sweeter sugary crumble I'm accustomed to. The store is adorable and offers a lot of quaint country eye candy for sale. It can be hard to find, though, if you use Google map which directed me to the wrong side of Amity. The store is just past the "You are leaving Amity" sign if you're going southbound. Also be sure to check their booth out at the McMinnville Farmers' Market in the summer! read more

My first job was working at a fruit stand when I was 13 so I have expectations when I stop driving and visit a farm stand. Blue Raeven is top-notch. Their pies are truly phenomenal and their small loaves of fruit bread are delicious. They also sell a variety of jams and other canned goods in their store as well as other Oregon-made items. If you're driving on 99W and have a few minutes to spare, I suggest stopping in and getting a treat. You might need it to bribe the cops in Amity if you forget to slow down in that speed trap of a town. read more

And that is just coming through the door.For me, Blue Raeven pies are unbeatable. Made from Oregon fruits are my favorite, and rhubarb puts me in a coma. Oversized cookies, including one called Hazelnut Ranger. Stop by, get a pot pie for dinner and blueberry peach pie for dessert. Bake 350 while you are showering , and dressing in your comfy clothes- then prepare to enjoy. Not thrilled with my sandwich -prices well, but meat to bread ratio very unbalanced . Charge another $1.00 and amp the meat ,please! Oh yeah, don't leave without a loaf of garlic bread. I guarantee you won't make it home without trying a piece! read more

We hosted family visiting from SoCal who wanted to try marionberry jam during our stay in the willamette valley. We drove down here from McMinnville which took about 15 minutes. We were the only ones there around noon time. Though we were disappointed to learn that marionberry jam wouldn't be available for another 2 weeks, we had a simple lunch of sandwiches which hit the spot for everyone, especially after a couple days of indulgence. During our 20-30 minute lunch, many cars stopped in and left with boxes of pies. We left with savory and sweet pie to back at home (just finished eating those which inspired this review). The beef pie was flavorful without being overly salty. The mini marionberry pie was excellent as well. We also got some cherries, green beans, apricot and garlic bread. I also ordered these pies for my brother in laws rehearsal dinner and they were a huge hit. He grew up in Amity so it was a nice way to honor his home town. The variety is fantastic. Personally I enjoy peach rhubarb, and Valley Berry. The chicken pot pies are also great. We like to keep on in the freezer, they easily feed 6.
