We stopped here on the way out of Badlands National Park. I was ready for a coffee. Inside I found a really nice tourist shop AND serving Buffalo Hot Dogs for breakfast. Well, my breakfast. Both were very good. A Very busy store, one clerk. Expect a line! I didn't need fuel, but this is a ConocoPhillips station. read more

My son and I stopped here before entering the Badlands National Park from the Northeast. Unfortunately we were at a 1/2 tank and had to fill up at paying a extra 40 cents a gallon. My fault for not doing it sooner but it was nice to have a gas station right there because you don't want to run out of gas in the park. Nice gift shop with many souvenir items for the Badlands and SD. Pricey. We did not check out the food or drink items but heard they were up charging. Clean. Friendly staff. Masks and moderate social distancing being practiced. read more

Gas station is not that great. Not clean. As we were on road trip, we stopped there to fill the gas. The store was very beautiful. Really good stuff BUT the restrooms were not clean and they smelled bad. And they ran out of paper towels. read more

I need my 400pm iced coffee break or I won't make it past 10pm LOL. After driving through the beautiful Badlands I stopped here to look for iced coffee and they had it - Awesome! This is a busy store as it's the only one around here for miles but they have a lot of products to offer. Before going inside look to the right of the parking lot and you will see dozens of prairie dogs out in the field. read more

Great place to stop along I90 or if you are going thru the badlands. They have soft serve ice cream cones and buffalo hotdogs. Plenty of souvenirs too. Enjoy the prairie dog town north of the gas station along with buffalo statues that provide great pics. read more

I wasn't able to check in since I have not had cell service for nearly 4 days. I had stopped here to fill up, and pick up a couple of things. But, after waking up in Murdo, SD and finding the temperature or to be 61 degrees (61 in mid August?), I bought myself a Badlands hoodie ( it has come in handy. Especially when it rains, and the temperature drops even more). The clerk was polite and helpful. And since the gas station was the only one in the area, the $3 a gallon price wasn't too bad. I pay more than this back home, and in a couple other places on my road trip. Sorry, no pictures on this one. read more

This is cool gas station/souvenior shop selling all sorts of trinkets and junk. Nestled between Midland and Rapid City. To the south is Badlands State Park. North is the Minuteman Missle Silo thingy. West is Mt. Rushmore and wyoming. East 1880 town and Minnesota. There is gas, food, drinks, ammo, magnets and patches galore. Outside is a cute picnic area to rest, let your kids get tired, beat up the dogs and wonder at the grand view sky. The staff is friendly and facilities were super clean! Safe travels. Upon entry I noticed how cute this smal shop is inside the badlands park, this shop has souvenirs, some toys for the kiddos, local wine, jewelry, and a nice variety of items you don't find out of state. Store super clean and staff is nice and friendly. My only complaint is that items are a bit pricey here. Ex: coffee very very expensive when I know you just pay for the label and packaging. But overall I recommend checking this place out if you arre in the park. read more

Just average , so 3 stars. Nothing outstanding, but a nice stop after checking out Wind Cave (which is super cool!). Nothing memorable, if I wasn't suprised to see only 2 other reviews I probably wouldn't even bother. read more

Not much to say good about it. Overpriced gasoline, overpriced junk food, overpriced cheap (quality) Chinese gifts (same stuff in every gift shop). Really nothing spectacular here to do unless you desperate for gas, water/food or restroom. C-- read more

Complete ripoff. Buy gas before you get close - gas is $0.20 - $0.25 higher here than other gas stations in the area. They even charge to put ice in your own paper cup. read more

This place is a true trading post - lots of trinkets here and some not so bad. Just stopped in for a few snacks and spent time poking around. Fun to stumble upon. I think they must benefit from the location. read more

We stopped here at the end of a long day (we were staying in Hermosa near Keystone), drove to Wall Drug where we spent several hours and then drove through the Badlands on the way back. I am drawn to rustic & western-style places so we had to stop. The outside is very cool and the inside is equally great. It's a western-style trading post. If you're into yuppy places like Panera Bread, don't waste your time. If you like rustic places and places that are truly American, stop here and you'll be glad you did! We ordered 5 buffalo hot dogs which were amazingly the same price as the beef hot dogs. The store clerk didn't have any on the roller cooking so I had to ask her to put some on. They took about 5 minutes to cook and I helped out by putting them in the microwave for a few minutes to finish them off. We got glass bottles of Sioux City Sarsparilla from the cooler and a bag of chips. We had a great time and the food was great. Don't go for the service as the clerk was your typical convenient store worker without personality or appreciation for our business. The uniqueness of the place outweighed the service and we highly recommend the place as a quick & unique way to wind down after a long day in the park. read more
