This gas station is next to the 1880 town exhibit in Midland, SD. Gas was relatively easy to find…read morean available pump. While pumping gas, there were 3 pet goats lying as they watched people gassing up their vehicles. Once I completed the transaction, I went over to pet the goats, very tame and mellow. Staff inside were friendly and the convenience store was well-stocked with a variety of travel and refreshment products. This was a great stop just to stretch the legs, see the goats, and appreciate how life was in the 1880's in South Dakota.

The onion rings were just ok. They arrived room temperature and I'm pretty sure they came frozen in a bulk bag and dropped in the fryer. Unfortunately, the service was very lacking. The staff I interacted with were not actively rude or anything, they just gave a general vibe that they would rather be anywhere else. I would skip this stop.
