Stopped by on my way to work to grab bagels for the office. The employee's were super pleasant. The aroma in the shop was amazing. The bagels were dwindling but shows how busy/popular they are. Had a Taylor ham, egg and potato on a bialy with a hot tea and honey (no steamed milk). Sandwich had plenty of tailor ham... or as they incorrectly call it "pork roll" (south Jersey thing). The bialy was good as well as the egg and potato. Service was fine with smiling girls darting back and forth handling all the customers. So, why not 5 stars? The ambiance, or should I say lack of ambiance. They clearly put all their attention into the food and decided to throw a few tables and chairs into a room for those who want to eat in. You'll get your food counter served on a paper boat with plastic ware utensils and to go cups. The bagels are tasty and the staff is friendly, but the place is shockingly unsanitary. There was white pet hair on nearly everything, and I can't imagine why. I ordered a lightly toasted egg everything bagel with eggs over medium, bacon, cheddar, s&p. My fiancé ordered a lightly toasted everything with sausage, egg, cheese, s&p. We shared a strawberry lemonade and the total was $15...the very nice guy who cooked our breakfast brought it out and gave me a knife to cut my sandwich so the delicious yolky goodness stayed intact. From the first bite I knew this was it; my bagel spot...you can even tell how popular they are because by 10:45 am they were close to being sold out! The 3 people working also asked how everything was...as I sat smiling and enjoying my heavenly breakfast sandwich. I was more than happy to report how amazing it was and that I no longer am on the hunt for a great bagel! We finished up and had a nice chat with the staff for a few more minutes before being thanked for our patronage and wished a good rest of the day. Surprisingly few selection and quantity of bagels at 7am. Cashier wrote the order on a piece of paper then used that piece of paper to grab a bagel instead of using gloves. Just change your store hours. I've been here 8 times and it's been closed an hour and a half early "bagels sold out" 5 times. Close earlier or make more bagels, but stop closing an hour and a half early. Other bagel spots seem to figure it out, this is the only one this consistently frustrating. Why do I go back? It's next door to my house, and the bagels are delicious. But seriously I've never seen them open at 12 noon. Never. And multiple people walk up and try to pull on door. So why not just make more bagels in the morning? read more

Worst service. Two young girls that looked like they just rolled out of bed! Gross! I ordered 2 bagels and 2 coffees....$11 or so. She filled the coffees and said the milk was out on the table. There was no milk or creamer. I handed them back and said I didn't want black coffee. She poured them back into the pot! I was shocked. And never offered a refund. I had to ask and it was $4 put back on my card. Not sure if she thought I was making some sort of donation the the business or what. Then the girl on the bagels made a salmon filled bagel and with her wet fish fingers grabbed my bagels. I asked her to please change her gloves and get new bagels. Only go to this place on the weekends. The male owner is usually not there on weekends. During the week the owner, will not say hi to you. Give me your money and leave. I am surprised to see these reviews saying a man (worker or owner) was absolutely nasty to them. I had a very similar experience. I will not come again for how I was treated. I walked in 20 minutes before closing and was treated like a piece of garbage and then after ordering I received my bagel with the same man who gave me the most condescending smirk on his face and goes "have a nice one sweetheart" voice full of sarcasm. Every time we come here it's delicious! We got a toasted bialy bagel with roasted onions and cream cheese and it was perfect! We also got a basil and asiago toasted with cream cheese and it was delicious. I know sometimes baily bagels can be dry but this was soft and chewy, crispy and perfectly toasted. You have to try it! Savory and satisfying. They serve cold brewed coffee there now as well and it's very good! We were originally planning on making a separate coffee stop but are glad we didn't. The food was good....but the order was wrong and when I called to let them know, the woman just said "What would you like me to do about it?" I asked for well done hash and it was mushy and undercooked. I asked for cream cheese on the bagel (which I paid for) and it didn't have any. I'm giving this place 4 stars because of quality and consistency. The service is great, the couple who run it are very friendly. Expect to wait if it's busy because it's just the two of them. I think they have a good recipe for bagels and i have never had any issues other than burning my mouth because I didn't want to wait for my food to cool off. This is 100% the best bagel shop in Martin County!! We go here every Saturday morning and absolutely love it. The staff is amazing and when our group of 30 walks in they are still unbelievably efficient! When I ask my family if they want Bagel Bites, I only hear cheers and gratefulness.
