WOW! This place will blow your mind! They took bagels to a whole new level. I'm from North Carolina and I have considered taking the long drive back to Florida just to try this place again! I got an everything bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese on it, and wow. This place is just fantastic! I don't think I've ever had a better breakfast than I had here! If you are in the area, this place is a MUST! The bagel was cooked perfectly, so soft yet toasted crunchy, delicious flavor, cheese so melty that it extends as you take a bite, sausage so flavorful, and delicious eggs! I ordered an Asiago bagel only to find out later on that they ran out of them. I received a crumb cake for the inconvenience and found it to be delicious. The best authentic NY-style bagels I've found in the Central Florida area. Period. I love real bagels - meaning, if they aren't boiled before baking, they don't qualify. Boiling them first produces that awesome chewiness that makes NY bagels so good. Very few of the bagel places in Florida bother, and none of them would last a week in NY. Yes, it's a small shop, so he sometimes runs out of things. But I haven't found a better bagel in the area, so it's worth it. This place is over an hour away from my home, but I drive over once a month to buy bagels. Call him the day before and place an order, then he'll have exactly what you want. read more

Wanted some bagels this morning and didn't feel like driving to Einstein Bagels and Dunkin Donuts was packed so I decided to give Bagel Joes in the Lake Washington Shopping Center. What a big mistake. They claim their bagels are NY style, what a joke. Definitely NOT. I'm a New Yorker and can tell ya, these are no where near like NY bagels. Dunkin Donuts bagels are much better. These bagels from Bagel Joes are too airy with a lot of voids. They're more like a Thomas English Muffin style bagel. Save your money. read more

Very, very average bagel place, but they're one of the few places in Melbourne open early. I came into Bagel Joe's around 6am--props to the Yelp app for identifying that it is one of Melbourne's only restaurants open at 6am. The interior was clean and well lit, and the employee working was very friendly, especially for it being so early. Fortunately (unlike what other reviews say,) they were fully stocked. The 'special' of the day was a Pepperjack Bagel with Plain Cream Cheese, so I ordered one of them, along with a Chocolate Chip Bagel with Cinnamon Raisin Walnut Cream Cheese. The bagels were pretty large, and with the HUGE amount of cream cheese lathered on, they were pretty reasonable for ~$3 each. They were ready in about 10 minutes or so, and I took them to go. I only ate them a few hours later, so I can't attest to how they'd taste fresh, but my Chocolate Chip Bagel with Cinnamon Raisin Walnut Cream Cheese was incredibly fantastic (A+) and my Pepperjack Bagel with Plain Cream Cheese was bland to the point of... cardboard, which is strange considering it was the special. So very hit or miss, I suppose. There seem to be other good bagel places in Melbourne, so I doubt I'll be back if I want a bagel, but if I need something at 6am again... this isn't the worst option. P.S. They have some great coupons on their website, so definitely check it out before you go in! read more

One of my favorite bagels in the whole world is a lox bagel. After reading several reviews I decided to try Bagel Joes. Honestly it wasn't anything different or extraordinary it was a typical lox bagel. Th asiaga bagel was quite fresh and very very good and the salmon, tomato, onion, and cream cheese were all portioned perfectly. Will def try again maybe try something different though. read more

Amazing! Bagel Joe's is my current addiction. I can go in for a breakfast bagel or a lunch bagel and both are amazing. Their bagels are delicious. For lunch they pile on a bunch of meat, so much I can hardly fit the whole thing in my mouth. They serve it with potato salad or chips, and a pickle. This is our bagel shop!! I won't even say favorite, bc we don't go anywhere else. The staff remembers who you are. I order an asiago bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese, bacon, tomato, raw onion and sauteed onion and I'm NEVER disappointed!! Today my husband got the loaded breakfast burrito and said "it was life". He rarely says that about food when we eat out!!
