It had a bit of a off or old oil taste that I noticed while I was eating the doughnut. On top of that, the blueberry flavor was not that pronounced. What I did like about the donut is that it had great texture-- was crispy on the outside while still remaining fluffy and light on the inside. The donut holes were by far my favorite thing. They were light and perfectly not too sweet. I could literally eat a dozen or two of these at a time. While the shop itself is not the most clean, this can be forgiven as you can tell that it is aone-man operation. (It was 8 days before and I didn't care. They were promised in five days.) Then I actually got a notification from USPS that a shipment had been sent December 3. Obviously it was not shipped until the day I called to ask where it was. They were sent to Dallas, Texas, then to Pennsylvania, then to Avondale, Arizona, then Phoenix. SEVENTEEN DAYS AFTER PLACING THE ORDER, FINALLY RECEIVED. The woman on the phone COULD have said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I'll credit you the shipping, or I'll send you an extra pound for your trouble." She could have said many things that would keep me as a customer, but nope. Nothing but snark and excuses and she hadn't shipped anything until I called to question it. I used to recommend this company to everyone. Now I will simply warn them not to expect customer service to be anything but abysmal.
