Randy is the best broker I've met, not one of !!!…read more I was looking for a nice 1b 1b apartment to rent for quite a while then decided to get some help from a broker. The 1b 1b apartment is not very popular around the eastern long island. Many brokers don't do rental here. The other brokers either showed me one and urged me to take it or even showed me none for days. Randy checked the listings for me every day, talked to me, adjust the searching each time, and gave me more suggestions based on my needs. Most importantly, she is a friend who really cares about my needs and she stood on my side against the crappy listings! She worked over weekends and late night for me (I got her email once at about 1am). Whenever there's a new listing that looks good, she let me know quickly. it was very nice talking to her every time and I'm very glad to know her! We called four or five local surveyors to see about getting a survey done, just to find the markers and general property lines. I got prices close to a thousand dollars from several of the companies i called. Doris Connolly from this company called me and told me their prices for their various levels of service, but also informed me that they had an old survey on file for the property from 1981, 34 years ago, and asked would i be interested in that. She said she would email it to me for no charge. When i got it, i saw my deceased grandparents names on it, and got chills. We knew they had an old survey done years ago, but we lost track of it, and we didnt know which company they used. For this firm to still be around almost 35 years later, and have a copy on file, and get me a copy so quickly, was amazing. Their customer service was awesome, and their actions helped connect our family with a copy of a document that our grandparents paid money for decades ago, which somehow got lost over the years. We are thankful for Ms. Connolly helping us resolve our issue in locating the lines on the property, but just as important, we are thankful for uncovering and connecting us with this long forgotten document ordered by our grandparents.

We have seen long time companies gone and them in.. then also gone also for one - very shortly. If a complex is demanding it may not be a match. They lean toward the accounting aspect. They are not boots on the ground. They are offsite and can coordinate sending of documents more than anything, at their reliable but measured pace. They serve a key function where an on site manager often will not be able to keep up with paperwork. That being said.. Any complex should also keep an onsite person for calls during or after 5 pm and not defer to TTPM. Polite and courteous most of the time. They were ok on a closing with documents but took far too long to get things going with calls all needing to be returned. No person picks up. My thoughts are to manage this type of work for so many units - would be to have a receptionist that always picks up and transfers call in CASE of an emergency etc.
