Not only was everything done in record time it was done very well, in addition we received several phone calls from HPM Management regarding our community in Setauket... Asking if there was anything else they could do for us. Incredible service, by an Owner Operated Management Company!

Thankfully, our attorney pushed them to review their own rules, which clearly state that subletting is not allowed--despite Cory and Mary both telling us it was permitted. It was obvious they were unaware of their own written policies. The experience was utterly incompetent, and they were nearly impossible to reach throughout the process. I never go out of my way to write a review, but this was infuriating enough to make me make sure word gets out.

First of all they were obviously biased when the vast majority of homeowners wanted to remove board members that were not doing a good job for the homeowners. That would be putting things mildly and I don't want to risk the wrath of a lawyer that is being paid partially by my common charges. I am refinancing my townhouse and needed the Master Insurance Binder and also a letter stating that my common charges were current. For over three weeks of email requests and one phone call, I thought finally that they would provide the documentation that I requested. They ignored me and now the clock is ticking on my closing date and I may get hit with higher fees/and or interest rates because they failed to respond to my politely asked for request. If you have any say with your HOA advise against using this company.

She makes good sense when you talk, so that made myself and my fellow board members comfortable that we would get good service long-term. Almost unanimously, every single person in our community that said they called LIMS with a problem has said EXACTLY the same thing: "They don't do anything". Yes, they pick up the phone, but it's either an excuse as to why they can't do something or an outright lie! Similar mistakes are allowed by them to happen over and over and OVER! They just don't care! Once they have your account and are getting paid, that's it. Their main role in our community is currently threefold: 1) Act to provide services that they charge for - lawyer, accountant, maintenance loser(I say "loser" because the people they provide are consistently useless). This is the part where they over-charge you for various tasks and act bewildered that changing a window doesn't cost $4300!? Linda(owner): "That's the going rate for that type of job". Really? So the real question should be: "What the hell are you doing with the rest of our money"?! 2) Act as an authority figure. They talk *during the time that they are at the residence*. If you try to call them about anything, there's a million and one excuses why the situation can't be improved or how "due to today's economic climate". Just another way to say "I'm too lazy to do my job of managing" - put the blame on someone else. And a lot of times this Linda owner lady will act in a malicious way that puts a great anger streak on the tenants/people you absolutely don't want to piss off. Then you have an even bigger problem then what you tasked her to fix! But, since this company is useless, the problems snowball - just in time for them to offer you the service(at your expense) to "resolve" the issue they've acted to worsen. That, to me, is a scam. And that leads us to: 3) No accountability. They're not a huge company, but, much like health insurance company phone dead-end black holes, they've mastered the art of passing the buck or talking but saying absolutely nothing. You send an email and they say ask someone else. Or, even better, you call or email to complain about something, and the next thing you know, they're accusing *you* of something else you shouldn't be doing!? Who wants to complain then? Word gets out - don't say anything so you won't get accused of something you didn't expect to ruin your day. Nice management style. If you have tenants that you hate and want to screw over, this is the company for you. But if you need someone to manage a development where your fellow homeowners will grow to appreciate and thank you for your great choice of a management company, then certainly find someone other than these losers. I'm tired of them and have come to have many suspicions of outright fraud, so I'll be moving to replace them in the near future.

We have seen long time companies gone and them in.. then also gone also for one - very shortly. If a complex is demanding it may not be a match. They lean toward the accounting aspect. They are not boots on the ground. They are offsite and can coordinate sending of documents more than anything, at their reliable but measured pace. They serve a key function where an on site manager often will not be able to keep up with paperwork. That being said.. Any complex should also keep an onsite person for calls during or after 5 pm and not defer to TTPM. Polite and courteous most of the time. They were ok on a closing with documents but took far too long to get things going with calls all needing to be returned. No person picks up. My thoughts are to manage this type of work for so many units - would be to have a receptionist that always picks up and transfers call in CASE of an emergency etc.

My Co-op in Huntington Village was hard hit by Hurricane Isaias…read more We had 3 giant trees come down in the storm: 1 wrecked our new fence and crushed our new patio set, a second tree from the other side of our fence crashed into a third tree in our courtyard and both giants smashed into our building, causing a hole in our roof while both hung dangerously above our walkway and building entrance, threatening further damage and posing a major safety hazard. The NEXT DAY @ 9am!!! our property manager, Ronni Osman, showed up with a 4-man crew to remove the trees from the building and spent the entire day working to remove the debris -- all while our region struggled with major damage to roadways and power lines. Even though we only signed with them 1 year ago and nobody even hoped to get anyone to come to do tree work in the aftermath of this regional devastation, Ronni Osman of Einsidler Management saw the extent of our damage and put us at the top of the list to get us help. (We're a small property [only 26 units] & they manage over a hundred properties.) The crew returned again over the next several days and completely repaired the roof (it looks better than new!), cleared the remaining debris and made repairs to our fence. The transition to Einsidler from our previous management company of over 20 years met with considerable opposition from some residents, but after this even the die-hards have been converted (the leader of this "opposition faction" even spent hours sitting with our Property Manager during the repairs and heaped the highest accolades on Ronni, Einsidler Mgt. and the crew)!
