When I'm in Florida, there is nothing I like more than a frozen treat, if you're looking for something light, refreshing and packed with flavor then Bahama Buck's is for you I have tried at least 10 of the flavors, a new one each visit and have always enjoyed my shaved ice. The sheer amount of choices can almost be intimidating but the staff have always given me some good suggestions. Just watching the giant ice blocks spin and being made into shaved ice is mesmerizing. A perfect thing to have after dinner or as a little treat in the Florida heat.
Love the sno cones here! They have so many flavors and combos. These sno cones are so thick, they're more like Italian ices. The staff is always friendly too. You can even buy some sno balls to battle with your friends.
Kids enjoy this spot! Love how inviting this location is & the cleanliness. We love to chill and play a few games while enjoying our treats! Perfect spot for the fam
New favorite dessert spot! I ordered the Cotton Candy Sno Pop, and it was super delicious. I got the smallest size and it was the perfect portion in my opinion. The cashier was also super sweet and friendly. Overall, great experience and will be back!
Very short review: My nephew tried the strawberry cheesecake delight. It was delicious!!!!!! The ice was PERFECTLY shaved, the cheesecake was creamy and not overly sweet, and the overall combo was a match made in paradise! Friendly staff and very clean upfrontt. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area.
Great fun place to visit and eat a shaved ice treat! A small is plenty, there's also a mini. Wife liked it so much, she went through the line after tasting our daughter's. Kudos to the team that works behind the counter! Everyone was engaged, did their job really well and had great attitudes! Love to see it! Fun place, support it!
This is a tough one. It was our first visit here and I've really been looking forward to it. When we got there they weren't too busy as it was around 60° outside and dropping. The perfect time to have ice cream or Italian ice. We spent a little while going over their quite extensive menu. For the first visit I went with one of their prechosen concoctions. If you want to build your own there are just way too many choices for me to jump in on my first try. I personally had a smoothie called Strawberry Bliss. It's a blend of strawberry and vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream and a cherry. It was truly excellent. My companions went a completely different way. One had the Nerds rainbow and the other one built their own with Tigers Blood and sour spray. They were all very good and I'm sure we will be back in the future. Now for my problems with the place. The staff this night was for younger people who spent the bulk of their time at the far end of the counter where they make the products and they were just chatting. They did not ignore the customers but there was no friendliness or greeting at all. On my other real issue with this place was that even though it was later in the day it was filthy. There's a line of booths along the one window and every one of them needed some serious cleaning. There were scraps of trash all over the floor and I kind of felt the employees had time or at least one of them could have gone around and done a little upkeep.
My group ordered a few shaved ice, which all tasted like sugar water in the end once everything melts and blends together lol. I was actually pretty horrified by the staff during the Thursday night shift. There were at least 4-5 staff members all talking loudly and laughing amongst themselves, and even throwing things at each other for fun. Once my shaved ice was made, the staff member literally put the entire shaved ice under the faucet to rinse off the sides of the cup. I'm pretty sure tap water went into the shaved ice while he was doing this. No words. C'mon guys... we just got over Covid... I literally witnessed the making of the most unsanitary dessert spot while on vacation.
I recently had the pleasure of trying out a sno cone from Bahama bucks for the first time. It was absolutely delicious! The sno cone had a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, and the ice was the perfect texture. The flavor was so intense that I could taste it even after it had melted. I would highly recommend trying Bahama Buck's sno cone if you haven't already, as it's a great way to beat the heat and enjoy a delicious treat! The wedding cake was my favorite flavor. Coconut a close second.

A very welcome addition to the area, and it fits in perfectly with the overall vibe of Margaritaville. No matter where we go for dinner, we always stop here for dessert. There are SO MANY flavors!! The blue cotton candy is a favorite of ours. Eventually we'll try everything on the list, except for maybe the pickle, yes there is even a pickle flavor. The staff is always friendly and helpful, ask them for a loyalty card and after your tenth purchase you get one for free. There are ports near each table to charge your phone, hopefully eventually they'll bring back the board games as soon as it's safe. I love this place!

Luckily the girl at the register knew how to make it because I guess it's not a usual thing. She was very nice. There was not a line, so it was ready very quickly. The girl that made it for me asked me where I got the idea for it, which I thought was odd since it was on their site. So I guess the things on their site aren't necessarily in their store. It was good, but sooooo sweet. I like sweet stuff, but this was a lot! I didn't finish it. I don't even think I finished half of it. Not because it was bad, but it was just too sweet for me. I wouldn't have really known it was shaved ice. It tasted like a milkshake to me. Not sure I'd get another one. I'd definitely do a different flavor if I did, but it was worth trying.
First time visit this size was perfect for the two of us. Snow-cones are a perfect way to start your weekend! Glad we found this place for a different sweet treat. Very customer friendly service and a great addition to this area. So many varieties and options. A fun place to sit inside or outside for great entertainment. Great recommendation for a night out.

I was truly happy to see there is a Bahama bucks on the strip. There are tons of selection of shaved ice flavors and combinations to try. They are spacious with several tables and a view of the huge menu to select from. The flavor I decided on was Dreamcicle and it was delicious. The top portion is shaved ice orange Dreamcicle with condensed milk dripped on top and the bottom was vanilla ice cream. This treat was big enough for two people to eat. The day we visited was a non-peak hour, meaning the space was clean with no rowdiness. The two staff members were happy to assist with answering any questions we had. Overall great spot and I wish they had this in the northeast. read more
They have happy hour on the sodas until 3pm so I grabbed one before heading to the happy hour at the wharf. I had the costa colada regular size and it was still too large for me to finish yet delicious and with happy hour and excellent price, It was very busy even it was quiet out so this place is very popular read more

New location in sunset walk off 192. Tons of flavors and lots of options. My kids always order the rainbow (mango, blueberry and tigers blood). I ordered the strawberry freezecake. Love this location for a nice treat for the kids. Only gripe about BB is that the price has creeped higher and higher. read more
WE LOVE BAHAMA BUCKS!!! We hadn't been in a while so decided to pop in and grab some shaved ice!!! The Manger who was working remembered us which is always a nice feeling. We each got shaved ice, different flavors of course, and enjoyed they at Bahama Buck's. The staff here is so nice and willing to give you samples of the flavors, as well as make combination suggestions. The location is always very clean. Looking forward to our next visit. read more
Welcoming one of the newest kids on the block with 5 stars! If you are looking for a cool and sweet treat, look no further. Bahama Bucks is a new franchise/store to me, but I'm definitely familiar with the shaved ice/snow concept. Someone from the Bahamas please fact check me but I don't think Bahamas is known for shaved ice. Nonetheless, this place offers plenty of Hawaiian and Mexican influence. It's the way they shave the ice that makes this place stand out. That ice shaving machine creates such a smooth creamy texture like freshly fallen snow. They tons and tons of flavors from various syrups and natural flavoring. My favorite being watermelon. If you like sour, they have a whole line of flavors including War Heads! Top them with some li hing (dried plum) powder to enhance the sweet salty sour flavors, sweetened condense milk to pump up the creaminess, or chamoy to add more salty sour flavors! This part of Horizon West/Margaritaville area is growing so fast and Bahama Buck's is a welcome addition. The shopping center it is in is the perfect location. It's so good to see West Orlando area grow and look forward to coming again. read more

Got a chance to try Bahama Bucks in a dessert competition and hands down they had the most refreshing dessert. After a long day of walking around, it felt so nice to eat a cold spoon of shaved ice. A plus is there was ice cream on the bottom and little crushed Oreos on the top. At first I was lost because I have never thought of ice with ice cream but it was very tasty. When visiting FL, my family craved shave ice. Really, outside of Hawaii, we haven't really been able to find anywhere that shaves blocks of ice so finely that it melts in your mouth as soon as it touches your tongue. Well, we finally have! Bahama Buck's does a great job of shaving their ice! There is no brain freeze because their ice isn't lumped together like in sno cones. Bahama Buck's has many flavors to choose from, too! In addition to their incredible shave ice, we also tried their Acai Berry Breeze smoothie, which I highly recommend! The only area in which Bahama Buck's disappoints is their lack of locations in the northeast. Someone, please open up a franchise in or around MA! read more

Finally, a place where I can get hawAiian shaved ice and that feels pretty close to it! Yes, the name is contradicting but it's good and I've gone back to this place, twice in ONE week. So, yeah, I'm hooked! The menu is pretty big, and overwhelming. So many flavors, options, and other choices as well besides ice. The staff are young adults who are nice, helpful, and patient. Definitely worth making a trip out if you're wanting your fix on shaved ice! read more

Go stuff, I tell you. It's nice to see shaved ice making an appearance in Orlando. I grew up in New Orleans and I'm used to snowballs. These are about as close as I have found. Still no spearmint though. They're lots of flavors and they do other treats as well. The staff was super friendly and it's super clean. I'm sure they'll do well in this location. Wedding cake flavor was tasty but, I am a fan of almond. The baby size was plenty for me!!! I'll be back. read more
Great concept and perfect location! We were eating at a nearby establishment and decided to get something sweet. This place is unique. Their menu is very elaborate and includes mixes and combinations you've never even thought of before. I asked the very patient and helpful employee to recommend something for me. I ended up with a Cinnamon Coconut Sugar Cookie flavored Shaved Ice. It was delicious. My kids chose the Princess Shaved Ice and the Airheads Extreme one. The serving sizes are ample so I recommend ordering a smaller size than normal. You can definitely share too! I even walked out with a Bahama Bucks Punch Card which means I'll definitely be back in future trips to Orlando. read more
