And we are talking about swapping bananas for strawberries, not anything premium, and they charge you for it? Ridiculous. If you have ever been to an açaí / smoothie place, you know that all bowls and smoothies have a standard product and this place offers a very good standard. The add ons are very good with plenty to choose from. My only complaint is when we went inside there were three employees standing by the register waiting to attend to our order. NOT ONE greeted us or was personable at all! There was two millennial age boys and an adult woman. Most of these places feed off Zen or are into the organic platform where happiness, friendliness and kindness is a staple but not at this place. At least not today. This was my first time coming here while on my vacation in Florida and I have to say that the service wasn't great. I went to buy three smoothies and an açaí bowl and while the bowl was ok the smoothies tasted watered down. My niece and nephew was also with me and they wanted a small smoothies and the guy at the counter was extremely rude and kept saying that they only come in 16oz smoothies which would be fine but they have three different sizes of cups on the counter. I believe that they should change the sizes of the smoothies because not only do kids not drink 16oz, i sometimes just want to have a snack. Acai cafes are finally being introduced to the area and I am super excited to have this new addition to Estero.... For anyone that is not familiar with them, they are basically super smoothies with chunks of fruit and granola so they are eaten as a meal. My favorite is the Pitaya bowl (bright purple one) and they add all the fresh, delicious toppings (granola, coconut, honey, fruit, etc) Prices are very good and are actually priced better than their Naples competitor (I won't name names...). Staff seem very knowledgeable about the product and are friendly and the bowls are very yummy. read more

I've been craving an acai bowl and this place was perfection. My husband and I aren't big breakfast people so we shared a 16 oz bowl and it was the perfect size. Next time I'll substitute some extra acai for half of the oatmeal. I loved all the toppings, the bowl was exactly what I wanted. My husband had the tropical delight smoothie that was good. Considering that this is an area with a bunch of college students, I feel like it should be open until at least 9pm.
