I have been a long time customer even before they moved into their new location, and I have to say the service is not the same as before. Last year I went in and they told me I have three cavities and I needed to have a few other items that needed to be done. They quoted me over $10,000 worth of work. Yet if I had cavities, why didn't you fill those furs but yet you want to keep working on a chipped tooth that won't hold the compound because of its position and you keep trying to charge me for that it doesn't make sense. So me being who I am went to another dentist for a second opinion low and behold, I didn't have any cavities That my old Dentist was talking about. It's sad to say but green takes over even good people. read more

Ashamed that I got taken advantage of and that a place/person like this even exists. I didn't think that a person most people put a lot of trust into would take advantage of their position. I was told I had a significant amount of cavities and ignoring my gut just started with their treatment plan. Dr. O had to redo my filling twice and unfortunately still I cant chew on right side so I looked for a second opinion. Only to find out with a new set of X-rays that I have NOT ONE CAVITY (she claimed I had 13) and the crown that I was told by her to replace is actually ok. Moral of the story do your research. I could have avoided this issue all together if I had just researched for better care. I guess their one star can go to their very nice front desk. But as far as the dentist, this place is a money grab. read more

Let me just say. I drove around Pittsburg for almost 2 hours looking for a dentist to take me in bcuz Ive had a tooth pain for 3 weeks and needed to be seen asap. It was an emergency situation. And was turned down by 3 places until I was recommended to Bahia Dental. The moment I walked in I was greeted by Linda. She was very welcoming and understanding of my situation. Gave me all the information I needed and told me I could be seen today to handle my situation. I had a root canal so bad that I just wanted it extracted . Thank you Linda for not turning me away like every other dentist I encountered. Dr. Oghabian was my doctor , and she was the sweetest and genuine doctor I've ever met . Mind you, I haven't been to the dentist in 4 years. I was scared and nervous. And Dr. Oghabian made me feel safe and comfortable. The whole staff here were very welcoming and nice. Would recommend this place to anyone . I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Cuz their customer service is A1! Thank you guys for taking my pain away! read more

I paid 6000 to get my veneers from this place which they couldn't properly put on because I had one that always would come off and had to go in to get a replacement! So I call them after the last time one came off and they told me that I had to get a routine check up for the warranty to be valid which I wasn't ever told from the beginning! So now they tell me I have to pay 1800 for each tooth that comes off and I call them back to schedule a appointment and they tell me they no longer want to see me for no reason at all! I missed one appointment a year ago maybe! I have done nothing wrong for the bad customer service I have been given! If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. I have always been terrified of the dentist and had some really poor service at another office in Pittsburg. Then I came to this office and met the incredible Dr.O , her and he staff have been nothing less than incredible. The new Dr. Azes ( I probably spelt that wrong) was a complete sweet heart. I also love that the staff seems to be all female. The vibes in the office are totally relaxing and it's like my anxiety melts away once I'm in my chair. The only thing that I don't like is the schedule. She works fast, has steady hands, & she'll hear you out if you feel pain or have any type of slight discomfort. Half assed cleaning, your in and out in 20 min. I felt like I needed another cleaning the next day. Very rude front desk receptionists, one girl hung up in my face because I politely declined her appointment offer and further they have the audacity to clock and count how much insurance money is on the table. They sent me a letter saying how much I still have to spend by the end of the year. How tf do they know that? Also, I noticed on my very first visit they played hip hop and r&b videos in my room while I waited. Never happened again, I wonder if that was a ploy to get me to come back...it's the stereotypes for me, lol. read more

In synopsis, my wife and I were new patients who happily ended up going back to our original dentist who is 40 mins away and who is considered out of network per my dental insurance. 00. Pre-check in: I called ahead during my search for a new dentist and made sure (so I thought) that my insurance was accepted. So a day before my appointment two weeks later, they call me and tell me they need to provide an additional (secondary) insurance because my main insurance doesn't cover something. It wasn't really clear. Keep in mind, I'm a federal employee. My insurance works providing they accept it which I thought they did... For context, they called at the end of their workday, the day before my appointment. So with me not being clear, I basically had to go to my appointment to truly figure out what was going on. 01. Check-in process: My pregnant wife and I arrived at our scheduled time, and we were asked to fill out paperwork. No problem, all normal. However reading through the paperwork, the phrase "you are responsible for all costs..." was like every other phrase. I'm like okaaay, I get that. Secondly, the form asked us to sign that we reviewed two other documents which weren't attached to the "you shall pay document." So I ask the receptionist for the forms and they were like, oh I didn't give you that? I'm like no you didn't. The receptionist and another employee went on like a 10 min scavenger hunt for the forms. They had no clue where they were. First impressions meter is now officially on the decline. So they call my wife back, and then was like oh no, we can't see you. We don't have (insert form name) on file, so we're like okaaay, what was the point in filing out all of this original paperwork?? For context, she was teleworking that day, so knowing things like that would be useful prior to showing up to the appointment. They finally called me back after having waited for about 30-45mins. 02. X-rays: The girl was nice so I do not want to paint her in a bad light. I'll just say, I've had faster and less painful X-Rays done. 03. Dentist: Again, the dentist appeared to be a nice lady so I do not want to paint her in a bad light as well. I will say she found 7 cavities which I totally disagreed with. Like off the rip... Here are the X-Rays, click, click, click, see the dark spots, click, click, click, you got 7 cavities! Sheesh (me)! I've been going to a dentist consistently since I was a child and that was the first time, someone told me I had 7 cavities. Not saying she is lying, buuuuut it was a little difficult to wrap my head around that especially with her other statements saying my teeth looked good and healthy??? I realize I am not a dentist, but needless to say, I did not renew my visit to take care of those cavities. I'll take my chances. 04. Visit Time: Sooo 2.5 hours later, I'm finally done. I'm exhausted. My pregnant wife is hungry and has missed almost 3 hours of work. Not a huge issue, but it's principle. In comparison, my last (now current) dentist got both of us in and out within an hour. 05. Insurance & Cost: So the weird thing is, at the end of my appointment, the insurance lady talked to me and explained that my insurance was out of network. Ughhhhh. Of course you wouldn't tell me those details before my appointment. Whatever, so she shows me the cost of my next visit for those 7 cavities, and it was at that point that I realized I'm never going back to this office for dental care. Oh yeah, the cost was $740 with my "out of network" insurance coverage. Nope! I canceled that follow-up appointment as soon as I got home, and called my old dentist back to reestablish care. I'll let my teeth rot out before I pay $740 for some newly discovered cavities. read more

I have been going to Bahia dental group probably like 10 years now. Dr Abadi is my normal dental provider and he also is doing my ortho for my braces. Love him to pieces. Dr O is also a fabulous provider I swear when she numbs you, you hardly ever feel the needle even when she numbs the front teeth. She has the most gentlest touch. Both doctors are amazing. This dentist office does a great job. I HATE going to the dentist very afraid of everything there, but Dr. O and her staff did everything in their power to make me comfortable( and that's not Easy). I went last year to have teeth removed, I did not give her and her staff an easy time but they still put up with me. She sent me to a great oral surgeon they took out what needed to be taken out. Now I'm back to finish the plan she has made for me. I wasn't happy about it, however she helped me understand it was best and that I will be whole again... I have had many dentist that don't give a crap, but this dentist and her staff care! They can't reverse the crap you've neglected but they can fix it. Please read all 1 star reviews they are saying the same thing! Be aware of getting ripped off. I recently started working from home so this office was convenient for me to visit. My appointment went smoothly and the office personnel were friendly but I was told I had 9 cavities and needed over $6,000 in fillings. My insurance only covered a certain amount and I was going to come out of pocket about $1,000. This didn't seem right to me so I got the opinion of not only 1 other dentist but TWO. No urgent cavities and no fillings needed. I'm not sure I was told otherwise by Bahia Dental but it did make me question their integrity. I will never come back here again and I recommend you go elsewhere. read more

I have to say for someone who is trying to get their teeth game BACK on track and coming last minute, I was treated with respect and kindness. Dr. Oghabian and Leslie were very informative and helpful and non judgmental. The front staff and dental assistants were very friendly and didn't miss a beat. The bedside manner at this place is incredible. I've always been discouraged to go to a new dentist and start over or go at all for that matter, but this place has really helped me open up and was very helpful with the payment plan options. This dental office is a ripoff DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go here she recommends all these things and when you refuse to do her "recommendations" she refuses to do something as simple as clean your teeth. I just got my teeth cleaned 6 months ago I try this dental office because it's closer to my home and she tells me "I recommend a deep cleaning you have 4 cavities and you need fillings" I said wow in 6 months? I get my teeth cleaned regularly for the past 10 years every 4 months because that's what I'm approved for with my insurance. All of a sudden I come to a new dentist office and I need all this work? That they want a copay of $193 with insurance paying over $1000 she was trying to get the money when I told her I don't want to do a deep cleaning I just want a regular cleaning and my fillings she said well I cannot clean your teeth if you don't get what I recommended. This is a first to me as stated before I have NEVER missed a dentist appointment in 10 years you mean to tell me within 6 months my teeth is so bad I need all that and she refuse to do just a basic cleaning? This lady is full of crap and money hungry. I'm about to call my insurance and report I left her office before she try and charge me for something I didn't get. DONT GO HERE! Additionally: I went to a different dentist office the same day and got my teeth cleaned mouth examined and NOTHING this lady told me was correct! Walked out of there with a clean mouth and no problems besides needing a few fillings that I scheduled for next week. This lady is a fraud I plan to report her.
