Beware. Rudest receptionist in the name of Veronica. Impolite and probably hates her life that she gives off all the bad energy to patients old or new. Service from the dentists are mediocre, both head dentists have heavy hands and make sure you extend your patience with staff. Not the most friendly place for your dental appointments. Dentists would treat you as if you are a guinea pig with their malpractice and won't take care of you afterwards. I have been a patient at Antioch Dental Care for well over twenty years and have been very happy with Dr. Vlahos and Dr. Tran. They both keep up with the latest dental procedures and are on call for any emergency. I've have spent tens of thousands of dollars in cosmetic treatments at ADC (later found out I could have done it for at least half the price I was charged). This is the second time I've had a dental emergency and Dr Vlahos was not at his office for two working days. I was never told his partner (Dr Tran) was in his place (First rip off). She took X-rays, just to tell me what I already knew: that my tooth was fractured. I had to pay $130.00 out of my pocket because I didn't have medical insurance at this time (Second rip off). Filtration on the broken teeth was so bad that liquids caused me an intense pain. I called Antioch Delta Care and they offered me medication first, but latter offered me to pull the teeth out (their employees are trained to "smell" your desperation and the opportunity to rip you off). I accepted and when I arrived at their office where Dr. Tran was waiting for me. I was in so much pain/panic that I forgot to ask for the cost before undergoing the procedure. She extracted the crown of the tooth first (it broke in two parts) and the roots of the tooth stayed behind. When she started trimming my bone jaw (to release the roots), I felt an intense pain. She gave me another anesthetic shot. When she was done sewing my gums, I felt beat up and traumatized. I could barely stand up. I was rushed to the desk to pay and leave (because it was late and employees just wanted to go home). I felt treated like a dog (latter realize my dog would have gotten a better treatment and service from his vet). They didn't offer me any pills to mitigate my pain. All they did is hand me the prescriptions and tell me to "hurry up and go buy them" (third rip off by Sanjitha). I felt being treated like a dog again, and told to go fetch my medication before pain got worst. As I was waiting for the bill, I had to hold myself up with both arms over the counter, because I felt so bad and dizzy I was afraid to fall down. I signed the bill for $ 430.00 , also paid out of my pocket (fourth rip off) and I was shown the door. Total I spent $ 560.00 but they couldn't give me a painkiller pill (that cost cents), so I could make it until I filled out prescription (fifth rip off). They give you a very limited amount of painkillers with no refill, so they could keep me in short leash (sixth rip-off). When I left, I could barely walk to my car or drive and pulled over into the first Raley's pharmacy I saw. I was so happy I could get my pain medication soon, but after walking into the pharmacy, I was told I needed to wait 45 min for the prescription to be filled. I had to endure a grueling growing pain for 45 min, and felt like I was going to pass out while waiting at my car (my pulse was extremely weak). ADC personnel know perfectly what you'll be going through but they didn't give me any pills to make it . Going back inside Raley's my body started shaking completely out of control (because the air conditioner). I couldn't swipe the credit card (pharmacist helped me). I rushed out to my car and grabbed some fruit I had in my car, which I devoured in less than a minute and took the pain medication. I felt better, but in chock. I had to drive all the way back to Concord by taking the slowest lane of Hwy 4. Facts to consider: I ate a good lunch just hours before the extraction; 2- I was in very good physical shape (run 3 miles every other day and haven't caught a cold in 2 yrs); 3- I've undergone similar extractions with no problems before. Dr. Tran put my life in danger by butchering my tooth, gums, and jaw (causing such a devastating reaction in my body). She doesn't know when a dental job it's too complicated for her (money is more important than professional honesty), clearly a case of medical malpractice. Atioch Delta Care patients must know how unreliable Dr. Vlahos is (next time they have a dental emergency), and the potential disastrous consequences for trusting their dental health to Dr. Tran's (his business butchering partner) at Antioch Delta Care. Their employees should be ashamed of making their living by treating customers like I was treated. Dr Vlahos called me several times with his sweet voice to bribe me by offering me to cancel the charges ($560) in exchange to put down this review. This is their way to keep their nose clean at this site. So far none of the charges had been reversed on my credit cards (regardless what they claim) . Dr. Vlahos is a disgusting manipulator (in sheep's skin) who keeps harassing me (I blocked his personal cell number) by sending me letters to my house (for intimidation purposes). If you are a masochist and want this to happen to you, be my guest: shoot yourself by going to Antioch Delta Care. You will certainly be treated like a dog if something goes wrong. Ask for Dr Vlahos for unreliability and for Dr. Tran for extra pain! They call my story a total fabrication: this is very similar as calling my story "fake news". read more
