Best dental office I've been to in a very long time! The caring and customer service is another level. I called today because I had extreme pain in my back tooth and they got me in the same day! The receptionist/ patient coordinator was awesome (Suzie) she walked me through everything. The dentist came in explained the process of what would be done, made sure to give me antibiotics and pain meds to ensure I'd be comfortable prior to my extraction appt. I suffer from dental anxiety but the office gives off a very comfortable vibe and you then can relax. I go back at the end of this month for my extraction and am glad that it will be done at this office. I'll be sure to update after my appt. read more

Highland dentistry has been my "go-to" for years. The care they provide their patients had me shift my children from their children's dentistry over to Dr. Macias and staff. My husband, who does not regularly go to the dentist is now verbally reminding me that he needs to go for a follow-up (that is highly reflective of the types of experiences that he personally has had with the staff). They do their best with preauthorizations so you know what you're paying before services start (this is never iron-clad, as that depends on your insurance processing things in a timely manner) - and for a family the size of mine, that's a serious godsend. Gone are the days that you get billed for services (since the few bad apples out there don't pay their bills - iykyk) From a business standpoint, they protect their investments just as much as they protect our smiles. We will soon be relocating 30 minutes away but will still be patients here just based on the quality of service and care that they provide. read more

I have to admit I am not a fan of the dentist, but who is? I have to give kudos to Suzi, and Dr Macias, I had a dental emergency in August that I needed to have completed before my surgery date in October, I went to my first appointment and from the first phone call to make the appointment, to the financial part and all the work that I had to have done, the team at Dr Macias office got me in same day, I did call 3 other dentist offices for appointments that I could not get in until late September. Suzi was professional, personable, accomodating and helpful. I had all my work done and had 2 new partials made, cavities filled, and teeth cleaned all within the 8 weeks before my hip replacement surgery. I can't thank Dr. Macias, Suzi and team enough for making my smile more beautiful within my time constraints. read more

Just came from this place and I am so happy with the service! My son fell at school and chipped his front teeth. Our regular dentist is 30 mins away and they were closed for the day. Called this place and Suzie was able to get us in same day! She helped us out with insurance and all that stuff. The doctor and assistant were also very nice! Location was closed when patient had scheduled appointment. Patient arrived before appointment and no one was there, location was closed even though their displayed hours included the time of the appointment. Patient called location several times, no answer, tried calling throughout the day and still no answer. The staff is friendly, but this is a bad example of customer service. If something came up which did not allow then to open, they should reach out to their patients to let them know. I like to have confidence in my dentist as I can be quite nervous during appointments. Even if they apologize and explain what happened I wouldn't feel comfortable going back to them. How can you trust someone to do medical procedures when they can't run a business correctly? I was thinking of trying them out as my primary dentist (I have same health coverage as my friend) but after this, I will not be going there. read more

Last week, I went for my appointment for 3 teeth fillings. I was fearful, anxious and apprehensive. I left happy, relieved and contented with a much brighter smile. Dr Macias' quality of work is impeccable. Plus, he loves karaoke and concerts just like I do :) The customer service is stellar. Honestly, I never thought I would be writing a review about a dental office because I am terrified of the dentist! But, the staff here is so incredible I feel like they deserve the recognition. I need a lot of work done that I have been putting off because of my busy schedule but I was finally able to take the time to make an appointment. Suzy answered & was really just the most helpful person I've talked to in a very long time. She was so positive & gave me all the info I needed & got me in for a consultation. After the first consultation she took the time to explain everything to me so that I understood the procedures needed & the insurance payment amounts & how much I would pay out of pocket.. everything! There was one day that I was going to miss an appointment for a crown because my sitter for my 2 year old cancelled. So I called & Suzy said to BRING HIM WITH ME & they would HELP WATCH HIM. I actually called my mom & had to tell her about it because I was in tears over how nice they are. The dentist was amazing & made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. He is so kind & always explains to me what he is doing & why it is necessary. Even when my son came with me, he was so sweet to him & talked to him like it was is little buddy. By far the best customer service I have ever received from a dental office, and it isn't even my primary dental office yet. My fiance needed immediate attention on Friday/Saturday morning after an unfortunate incident occurred. After panicking and calling 11 other facilities, High Dental answered on a SATURDAY morning. They were able to help my fiance within 2 hours of my call. Susie answered the phone and was very patient with me, despite the fact that I could not think clearly and continued giving her wrong insurance information. After finally getting it all set, she scheduled an appointment right away. All the women in the office were very kind and sincere. Susie was so genuine and even introduced the other staff members upon arrival. When we finally saw Dr. Macias, he right away was able to alleviate my fiance's pain. The appointment was fast and efficient, and he made a referral to an oral surgeon. Although we were unable to see the surgeon he referred, Dr. Macias' office sent the medical reports to the other facility right away. The oral surgeon stated that if Dr. Macia's didn't do what he did for us on Saturday, my fiance would have lost his teeth. In summary, I am extremely grateful for their service. The High Dental team responded to our emergency with such ease and understanding, on a Saturday when most facilities are close. My fiance plans to continue seeking treatment with Dr. Macias and I plan to transfer my care as well. read more

I have been having some dental work done and when I called Highland Dentistry Susie answered as was not only friendly, she was extremely helpful to get me seen and treated in a timely manner (THE SAME DAY IN FACT!). At the time i'm writing this review COVID19 protocols are still in place, door is locked and you have to knock or call for them to let you in. Very clean office and super polite, informative, and helpful staff. The Dentist I have seen are not only knowledgeable they are nice, and explain what it is they are doing or will need to do to help whatever situation you have going on. From arrival for appointment to driving away you are seen quickly, taken care of timely and that doesn't take up much time at all. Other Dental offices i had frequented before would take up so much of my time and I literally would just be waiting for most it. I love Highland Dentistry and I highly recommend that you give them a try. The Office space isn't high tech or super modern, but what counts is the service and the care you receive. Super happy with the organization of this place. Everyone is on top of it! From the front desk girl to the insurance side of things. I used to go to a dentist a few miles from here and he never seemed to have it together. There is nothing worse than getting to the front desk and hearing you owe more than what was described. I feel like I'm in good hands here. Upon my first visit I knew I would stay!! This is what a FAMILY dentistry should feel! UPDATE! The kids totally approve! They look forward to their appointments. It's crazy. I don't even hear them giving the doctor slack in the back room. Yay! UPDATE 2! My husband didn't make the switch over since his old dentist is closer to his job. That is till a few weeks ago, he called me from work in agonizing pain. Just that quick overnight he developed a painful abscess. I called his dentist and they didn't want to stay an extra 30 min to see him. I took a chance and called Highlands and they were more than happy to squeeze him in. I felt so much better leaving to go to work. He said they did a great job and even made the decision to pull the tooth instead of loading him up on meds and watching him suffer till the following Monday. My insurance didn't cover this place but Suzy took me in and gave me a great discount for my extraction!! They took great care of me and are incredibly friendly.
