Wow. Yum! Can't believe we waited so long to go here with these great reviews. Our food was delicious. Flavorful, fresh, and the coconut rice was so tasty. We said we could actually go here two nights in a row and be happy. We had Thai tea, yellow curry (I wanted more potatoes but the chicken was quality white meat chicken without fat or gross bits), duck curry, fried cream cheese wontons, and extra coconut rice. Yum. The potatoes were cooked perfectly. The mild was mild and the hot was not as hot as he can handle but delicious. Cute little house setting. Full house but no wait. We will be back often! read more

This was sooo yummy!! I ordered the chicken satay with berry yummy sauce. The grilled tofu was also great with their signature peanut sauce. Then i got the Bai tong noodles so fresh. I've driven past this spot a dozen times. So glad I finally stopped! Such friendly service and a convenient location in central Loveland. We ordered the duck curry and bai tong noodles. I really like the building itself, which has a plaque declaring that it's a Loveland Architectural Landmark. Originally a home? There are different levels inside, at least two of which are for restaurant seating. We sat upstairs. The decor is lovely, but I would recommend re-covering the booth seats. We ordered the Appetizer Sampler Plate and were glad we did - all 4 fried items were delicious, and so were the 3 sauces to dip them in. That was my favorite part of the meal. My entree was Massaman Curry. Loved the Level-4 (out of 5) heat, and the food was good. My wife had Jungle Curry, and it just wasn't what she expected; you could legitimately call it a soup. Both dishes looked like their menu photos, so we take full responsibility for what we ordered! Both of us came away agreeing that we'd like to go back, but try different entrees. read more

Bai Tong is certainly a quiet little place. We were here on a Saturday at noon and had the whole place to ourselves. It seemed weird, especially since the food was actually good. Gingery. A good dish with a slight ginger taste and a great mix of veggies. I loved the rice presentation. The service was friendly and fast. My experience was amazing, with one exception. The food was excellent - presentation and taste. Yum! The atmosphere was great. The space is small, cozy. It was a little disheartening to see the waiting crowd grow. The issue I have was that the service was lacking because you didn't have enough help. It made me want to jump up and bus the tables, check on customers, pour water and bring out orders. The three you had on duty were overwhelmed and unable to attend to what was necessary. Charming location in an old yellow house, Bai Tong was a great find. The service and food are wonderful. The staff is attentive to the heat level and will talk you down a notch to help you enjoy the flavors. They aren't kidding about their Masseman Curry... It's da bomb diggity!! The veggies were perfectly cooked and plenty of protein in a delicious broth. Spring Rolls were a yummy starter. Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked amazing. We have been to Bai Tong a few times before so some of my food choices should have been better, but.. I had a seafood curry and the server and I talked about spice level. I was expecting something less spicy hot. I got something far hotter than I expected so next time I'll ask for the "coolest" spice level. A suggestion to allow for larger portion sizes (they maybe "healthy" but not large american sized) would be to keep the same amount of seafood, etc, that my curry contained but increase the portion of broth. It is a comfortable lunch venue in a historic house. For its size, parking space at that time of day was good. We'll go again, with adjustments for my taste. read more

I live very nearby and have been to Bai Tong many times. I can say that, Bai Tong is, without a doubt, the best restaurant in Loveland if you're talking flavor, service, and overall quality for the price. The depth of the Thai flavors and spice is amazing and every dish I've ordered has been fantastic--between curry, noodles, or stir fries it would be really hard to pick a favorite. The food always arrives quickly and piping hot, and the service is prompt and friendly. The historic building is really cool and makes for a nice ambiance. And it's never too busy or loud. I'm finally writing a review because I'm moving away soon. Bai Tong is one of the only restaurants in Loveland I'll truly miss. The best Thai food outside of Thailand. Better than 99% of the places in downtown Los Angeles. Their Tom Yum is incredible. Pad Thai was very flavorful. Service was great, and they have a full bar. There were 3 other tables already are in process of dining. It took over 20 min for waitstaff to come taking our food order, and we had to go ask for waitstaff. The other two tables (which arrived after we had ordered) got their appetizers; when we asked another waitstaff, his response was "they ordered appetizers.", not the usual "let me check on it.", and we did order the satay appetizer. When we paid the bill in the end, we had expressed that we are unhappy with the speed in a civilized manner, and the waiter's response was "the kitchen is busy. What can I do?" The waitstaff's (with beard) attitude is unacceptable. It ruins the food & dining experience. Ordered take out twice during our business trip in Loveland because the food was so delicious. We love peanut sauce, and Bai Tong's peanut sauce that comes with their fresh spring rolls is amazing! So much so that we ordered an extra side of it (6oz) on our 2nd night's order and poured the extra peanut sauce on the pad thai which just was exceptional! Their black rice pudding dessert was also exceptional! We will look forward to ordering from Bai Tong every time we are in Loveland for sure! read more

FIrst time here. Friend and I got here right at 11am when it opened for the day. Seated right away. She got the cashew chicken level 1 spice and I got the Massaman curry level 1 spice. Normally I get a noodle dish but thought to try something new. I LOVED my Massaman curry. It was so good. Good peanut taste and the pineapple was a nice surprise. I did not care for the potato though. They were to big and under cooked. We will totally come here again. My other take away was how dusty all the decorations were around. Like the chained lamp hanging from the ceiling had a thick coating and cob webs and dust. They place needs to a deep clean. read more

We came in here tonight very last minute. We called ahead and we're able to come in and place a few orders about 40 minutes before close. The staff was very kind and accommodating! We walked in and loved the vibe, but didn't get to check it out too much because we wanted to honor the staff. It looked beautiful from what we could see! One of my friends and I ordered a Pork Pad Thai and the Duck Curry. Both were phenomenal and filling! Pad Thai was ordered at a 4. First few spices were a little heavy on the heat but we got used to it! Excellent flavor. It was our safe choice However, I really enjoyed the Duck Curry. this restaurant is located in an old yellow and purple house on Cleveland Street. Has a big parking lot. We waited several minutes for the hostess to seat us. Turned out the hostess was the server as well & very busy. So wait for our drinks and food was also a bit long. The food is excellent here. We had the gyoza for an appetizer & a Thai iced tea. There were six dumplings that were pan fried. I like them a little more crispy on one side, however these were very tasty and tender. The dipping sauce was good. We ordered the Singapore noodles and the House specialty, the avocado curry. The Singapore noodles had a great curry flavor with a little kick of spice. We ordered it with beef. The noodles were good and had plenty of carrots and onions. The beef was a little chewy but still good. The beef was the only protein. Singapore noodles usually have several proteins including shrimp. The avocado curry had a great flavor to the sauce. There were large pieces of avocado in it. There were several nice plump shrimps and pieces of chicken. Came with a nice jasmine rice that was fluffy and tasty. This was my first time having an avocado in the curry, and I was pleasantly surprised. There were red and green peppers in the sauce as well. I enjoyed the food here and will definitely come back.
