Great lunch today, I had the Panaang Curry with chicken. The curry was excellent and although it wasn't on the lunch menu, I still managed to wolf it all down. This is probably one of the best Curry dishes I've had in quite some time. Service was great. Prices are extremely reasonable and this is definitely on a repeat list. read more

Only one girl was working the front and she did amazing keeping up with everything. What we ordered: Crab delight (wontons) - these were some of the best and most flavorful wontons I've had in a while. 10 out of 10! Pad se-ew - this was so good, would definitely order again. Had takeout delivered. I had the fried tofu and shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls were pretty good along with the dipping sauce. They were mostly lettuce. The tofu was okay. It came in a greasy unappealing brown bag. I'm not sure if I would try them again or not. read more

What a great restaurant that's only been here for 8-9 months! This is a sister Thai restaurant by the same owners of Cafe de Bangkok. The recipes are different. I think this one is slightly better than the original. Both are great. And some dishes the original does better (summer rolls). You start by ordering at the counter. Then you tell them if you are eating inside or outside. They bring you the good. Service is great. They are super attentive to filling waters. You end by paying back at the counter. I happened to be on my way to get gas at the local King Soopers when I saw the sign go up on this building that's been vacant since the custom macaroni and cheese place, Mac'd Up, moved out three years ago. Kinn Thai? Thai food? This close to my house? YAS! They opened quietly yesterday, so I immediately contacted my friends to see if they wanted to join me for dinner. The interior is cozy, but a little confusing. There's a bar with a register at the back, so I wasn't sure if this was an order at the bar and take to your seat kind of place like the old business was. Luckily the server was on top of it, greeted me immediately, had me sit at whichever table I wanted and brought out menus. I started off with the Thai Tea with Crystal Boba while I waited for my friends to arrive - wonderfully silky and sweet, and the boba was sweet and very chewy - quite a difference compared to the tapioca boba I've had before. Side note: they're still waiting on their liquor license, but their non-alcoholic drink menu is pretty extensive! We opted to split the Crab Delight wontons which were piping hot and came with a sweet chili dipping sauce, and our server demanded (in the nicest way) that we try the Golden Fire Calamari which was a wonderful suggestion/demand! Fried golden and tossed in a sweet chili paste that might have something addicting added. We demolished both the appetizers. I went for a bowl of the Tom Kha soup with chicken, which seems pretty comparable to all the other Tom Khas that I've had around town. As for the entrees, they don't have Pad Thai or the usual "standard" Thai fare that is all around Fort Collins. Their dishes are centered around rice dishes and noodle soups. I ordered the Satay Fried Rice with chicken - perfectly cooked with a delicate lemongrass turmeric spiced coconut milk, peas and carrots and fresh cucumber. The peanut sauce that came on the sauce was also addicting, and the amount of food you get for the price is extremely generous! I have two full containers of leftover rice, plus the remains of the soup for my meals tomorrow! I was really wanting to try the sweet rice and mango (an all-time favorite dessert of mine), but was just too dang full to even consider it. I'm looking forward to going back soon and trying some of their noodle dishes, and saving room for dessert! read more

Kinn Thai was our go-to for Thai food in FOCO, but that all changed tonight. While eating at the restaurant tonight, my wife bit down on something hard, gave me a look like, "wtf?", and pulled a staple out of her mouth. A GD staple! On top of that, she thinks she damaged her tooth because of it. I brought it to the attention of the server, he was very apologetic, but this is totally outrageous and unacceptable. The service was a bit slow and somewhat rude (small ding for that). I'm sure it gets busy everywhere during lunch, so that's no reason. The food was good, not great. The CharSiu bun was a bit too sweet. The satay fried rice was good, but a bit sweet. My wife got the lunch special which was pretty average. I want to say I should try it again to see what else would be good, but as of now, not super motivated to give it another shot. Parking is a nightmare too. We searched Yelp for a good lunch spot while doing a DilSe.IT install at Ace Hardware of Fort Collins yesterday and picked Kinn Thai. What a perfect choice! Paresh, Jack, and I all had curries. Mine was the Pineapple Curry with chicken and white rice - it was excellent! All 3 of us loved our meals. The waitress was nice and the service was fast. I've eaten here a ton of times and thought the food was great. 3 different times now in a row I've had problems with my food. Once there was two small pieces of beef in the pad Thai - which they have you pay extra for beef but don't add it? Today I ordered a garlic lovers and the rice was so over cooked it was a mush. (The garlic lovers chicken was AMAZING though- but you need rice with it) I had to go back and ask them to change out rice to which they basically said the whole pot was like that. The owner told the front desk that there wouldn't be any fresh rice till that was gone. So I had them change it out for a pork pad Thai. This is what I received. It was so bad and had maybe 3 tiny slivers of meat in it. The noodles were very slimy. Done with this place. My coworker also ordered with me and his food was terrible as well- fish taste. read more

Best Thai food in town! you've got to try this Thai restaurant if you love Thai food, the service was exceptional the food is very authentic feels like i'm back in Thailand, you could taste the authenticity in the food, the pad Thai was perfect the Khao ka moo was moist and very tender also very flavorful. i recommend both these two dishes!. the mango sticky rice was also delicious. perfect sweetness, the lady pink personally was too milky and creamy for my taste. the fries were alright it was really crispy, preferably i would go for another appetizer on the menu. i'm definitely coming back and try more on the menu i'd recommend this to anyone read more

Ordered this for takeout tonight and wow. I was expecting it to be good but the khao soi blew me away. I frequently get this dish at a restaurant down in Denver and have never found another I like anywhere near as much until now. Seriously, 5 out of 5 stars for that alone. The coconut rice was also delicious and the spring rolls, while not the best I've ever had, hit the spot. My order was ready on time and everything was packaged beautifully, with the noodles separate from the soup to be combined at home, and the crunchy noodles separate from everything and placed on top so they wouldn't get smashed. It's hard to find a place that has delicious thai food, let alone one whose food is still amazing to-go and is packaged perfectly and the order is all correct. We have been here a few times and always enjoyed our meals. We eat the vegetarian options and split them family style. They don't have many tables and are pretty busy, so be patient. The food is quick and delicious. Each time we have been in there was only 1 person working up front but they hustled and did a great job to provide us with great service even when there was a line out the door picking up orders. Decided to order takeout on the way home from work and was happy with the cuisine, customer service and tofu entrees. It's in the corner of the lot, the parking area is a little tight closest to the entrance... However, there is plenty of parking in the area. The restaurant is kept tidy and I appreciate that it feels quiet and peaceful although it's just off the busy street. A very nice place to enjoy some Thai food, indeed! read more

Very very good! We used to have to drive all the way across town to Cafe De Bangkok for some delicious Curry or Pad Se-ew, but no longer!! We had the Pad Se-ew and Pad Thai and both were very good. They have a lunch special that comes with an egg roll and soup (which changes weekly) and you can pick your level of spice 1-4. Super delicious and will definitely be coming back! read more

I've eaten at every Thai restaurant in Fort Collins and a dank Thai place in Windsor. Many of the local Thai restaurants are delicious and I would (and have) returned to them. But after discovering Kinn Thai, I will no longer return to any other Thai place but this one. Their menu provides the beloved Thai fav's but they also extend to some other dishes I had never heard of that I'm excited to try--that is, If I can ever order anything else beside the Panang Curry with coconut rice.
