Saturday afternoon stop for food after a ride on the bike trail. Seems like a place for day drinking and cheap food. Dive bar with motorcycles out front. The bartender may have been having a bad day because her vibe was unfriendly. Service was a bit slow and to her credit the bartender was the only one serving food and drink. The food was ok considering the relatively cheap price. We had the fresh cut fries and they were fully cooked though average (see other review). This a great location for food after a long ride on the trail but I'm unlikely to go back due to the service vibe and the wait for the food.

New owners. Now smoke free (except for the porch). Laid back environment and if you're a veg just ask for a veggie burger (it's not on the menu but they'll gladly make you one). $1 beer specials 5 days a week. The locals are super friendly and the porch faces the river. What a fantastic experience.

Great service, staff was friendly, food was good. It is also dog friendly outside! They used good quality mixed greens in their salad.

The view at Bainbridge Inn along the river is always beautiful which is why my husband and I decided to take a short ride here. However, we were also very hungry and looking forward to some good food. That is something we didn't find. The food took a long time to arrive despite it being a small place, not busy and not many people ordering food. Everything, from the appetizers to the main meal was either lukewarm or cold . Anyone for cold jalepeno poppers? The finale were the mussels served after we already ate the main meal, which were also lukewarm, kept warm only with the warm water with which they were served. Yes, we could've complained and risked our food being spit upon, but we as i said at the beginning we were very hungry. It was like paying hard earned money for cold pizza the morning after. Very disappointing. Here is a picture of the bowl of water the mussels were served in.

Too many Trump signs. The bartender would not allow beer on the porch despite signs which read beer was not allowed PAST the porch.

As we were pedaling past Hell In A Bucket, my fiancée said we should stop there on our way back. Sure enough, we stopped by to reward ourselves for taking on the 28-mi NW River Trail. What a place!!! Seriously! First of all, we wanted to sit at the bar (our usual preference when dining out, if it's possible). The bar was full, but there was one stool open. A guy noticed that we were looking for another stool, and he gladly gave up his place so we could sit and eat together. I later found out that he was the owner and Brewer @ Hell In A Bucket. He had moved to a few chairs down and was talking to his friend explaining how the Dark Star Stout was brewed. The DSS was superb! Janie, my fiancée, picked the Harry Hood 12oz. Which she enjoyed. While these beers were absolutely what "the doctor ordered" after our bike ride, the best was yet to come. We were handed a sheet with today's specials. I did not expect a brewery to have "daily specials" at least not in the form of food. The specials included a Souvlaki Mediterranean Sampler (think, a charcuterie with goodies from Italy and Greece). We also chose an another special called Arancini (a baseball sized cheesy risotto deep fried to perfection). Lastly, we shared the "Pasta of the Day" -- Eggplant Parmigiana on a bed of pasta. Everything was Amazing! We continued to compliment the chef when the owner said he only started a short time ago. I said, "Keep him!" Our dinner tasted like we were eating at a 5-Star NYC restaurant right here in Marietta. ...and at a price that was so reasonable that I KNOW I'll be back! Aside from the great beers, the phenomenally great food, I also have to say that Hell In A has a great vibe. We know we'll be coming back, maybe without even riding the trail!
