In the Summer of 2024, 6 of us headed to Lancaster for the day. We needed to grab a bite to eat after walking around downtown. The Lancaster Dispensing Company was the perfect spot. Upon walking in we were seated immediately. Bonus it was a booth. Things were comfortable, it was nice and bright inside. It gave off bar vibes with a little bit of class. The food was ok. Something were better than the other. The chicken sandwich we order just did not hit home for us. It was not appealing at all. The sides were pretty good. The macaroni salad was delicious. Things were just a hit or miss with the food. Our waitress was pretty good. She was attentive for the most part. Overall I would go back, but stick to safe things for food.

We liked this spot! No frills down a back alley on a rainy Sunday. We were so glad we were able to grab a large table for the 5 of us. The server couldn't have been nicer! We shared nachos and waffle fries. Some of my friends got chili, quesadilla and I tried ham/swiss on croissant with macaroni salad. I liked it! Conveniently located across from central market (which sadly by the time we arrived 1:30pm was disappointing) but this spot was great. Thank you for a good meal!

Our go to when we come to Lancaster city. Great customer service. Lots of choices. Food great. This time we had Belgian croissant with tuna and melted cheese, cheese burger with steak fries and blackened cat fish sandwich with a cup of crab and corn chowder.

This is shrimp Alfredo and it was wonderful

Restaurant is beautiful with a long bar. Heidi, our server was wonderful. She kept our drinks full and the food was delicious. The restaurant was established in 1978. I highly recommend coming into the Lancaster dispensary.

Pro tip: This is a very compact venue. I personally was here as a party of two and felt the larger groups picked a tough venue as available space is limited. A group of 10 came during our meal and I found it very disruptive and crowded once they did. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly, despite being noticeably busy for a late Friday afternoon. For an appetizer, I can never pass up the temptation of a crab dip so we ordered that. After inhaling what was really phenomenal crab dip, we were excited for our food. My daughter ordered a burrito and I picked the club sandwich with fries. The food was delicious, well priced and very fair portions! I took half of my sandwich as leftovers, and ate it later that night - still delicious! If you're looking for a true local spot with fair pricing, delicious food, and friendly and attentive service DipCo is the spot to go!

We were staying at The Cork Factory hotel and came here for dinner. Fast service, good menu, great food!

Sat at the bar and enjoyed some conversation with locals who shared menu choices. The bartender was very pleasant and attentive. Food was delicious and super hot, just the way food is supposed to be served. Great Black Bean burger that had delicious ingredients, awesome steak fries and I asked for them to be crispy and they were perfect, just how I wanted them. Also had the nachos for like $6.95 it was a very full plate of great warm chips with plenty of toppings. Definitely recommend.

First time in Lancaster! Stopped at the central market and then ate here for lunch with the family. Good service and good food! The iced green tea and iced raspberry tea are very refreshing!

Great place to enjoy with comparable atmosphere. Steps ate a little short and difficult when impaired.

Delicious. Also bought a couple of six packs off the flight we tried. Enjoyed the Spinach Artichoke & Cheeseburger.

But awesome all the same! For how busy they were, the server was very attentive and very accommodating as we were yapping away and constantly not ready with our orders so kuddos for the team and putting up with us! I love the mystery beer concept, its not great beer, but being from DC at like $2 a can, I am not passing that up, ever. And a cheap beer with a burger is the perfect combo! On to the burger... I have heard that this is a great burger... and I have to conclude that I agree though it is reminiscent of a Big Mac - just way better ingredients - it has to be the sauce they put on it... Anyway, nice size patty, good amount of toppings and a quality bun (not too soft, not too thick, bread soaks up some of the juices but doesn't fall apart). The mussels were quite excellent as well. It was a Thai curry broth the night we were there and it was drinkable, like soup... we did ask for extra bread... enough said. I am going to take a minute too and praise their spirit free cocktails. THIS IS HOW THEY SHOULD BE MADE. They used bitters, tonics, etc to craft something that tasted like a cocktail but without alcohol which means they were not sickly sugary concoctions, but expertly crafted beverages. Just really great options. All that said though, their espresso martini was one of the worst I have had. Just skip that.

When we were seated, we were given the prix fixe food menu but never provided with a drink menu. We were served water, but our waitress didn't ask if we'd like cocktails, wine, or any featured Valentine's drinks. For a special occasion dinner, that felt like a major oversight. The bigger issue, though, was the food. Several courses were noticeably undercooked and difficult to enjoy. The carrot salad had hard, undercooked carrots and a very bitter sauce that overwhelmed the dish. The grilled Badger Flame beets were also undercooked and had an unpleasant flavor. The beet risotto was firm and lacked the creamy consistency you expect from a properly prepared risotto. The halibut tasted overly fishy and seemed undercooked in the center. For $75 per person on Valentine's Day, we expected a polished, thoughtfully executed experience. Instead, the meal felt poorly prepared and not worth the price. It was an unsatisfying way to spend what should have been a special evening. The ambiance was very nice but the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired.
