DipCo to the locals. A neighborhood bar smack dab in the middle of some of the most touristy spots in downtown. Its next door to the Central Market and across a parking lot from the Fulton theatre. Menu is broad-they're still strictly using a QR code presentation. Everything is tasty enough, nothing really stands out but I do have some favorites-the mac salad is worth the price of admission in itself. Food and drink prices are decent. There's a significant bar with comfortable seating and attentive friendly bartenders and Several low tables that get filled and crowded quickly because of proximity. We stopped into the dispensing company due to how many great reviews they had online! It's right downtown and was walkable from our airbnb. The outside looks rustic and cute, the interior is a little lack luster, dim lighting, lively crowd, that bar smell. Ur server was great, she checked up on us and made good recommendations. Unfortunately our crab dip had massive chunks of onion in it, it tasted like straight crunchy onion. My fettuccini Alfredo was pretty tasty, until I fished a 1 inch long black hair out of a bite. Ruined my appetite sadly. My boyfriend got the chicken tacos, he hates tomatoes and specifically asked for no tomatoes and the tacos come out with lots of tomato chunks in the chicken. That's fine I understand restaurants will marinate the chicken in tomatoes/sauce but I wish the waitress would have told us that because he did not eat them and did not let me/want to complain. We left pretty hungry and ended up eating elsewhere. Drinks were nothing special. I've heard this place is good by many people, so maybe we caught them on an off day. On the way out we had to weave through a particularly rowdy drunk crowd of people who were yelling loudly. Personally I won't be back. read more

One of our favorite spots! We typically go on Tuesdays for the taco special. Beef, chicken & bean oh my! Delicious every time & the service is amazing. Sarah remembers our order no matter how many weeks in between visits, down to which Tabasco flavors we like! She's attentive, funny & sweet. In the Summer of 2024, 6 of us headed to Lancaster for the day. We needed to grab a bite to eat after walking around downtown. The Lancaster Dispensing Company was the perfect spot. Upon walking in we were seated immediately. Bonus it was a booth. Things were comfortable, it was nice and bright inside. It gave off bar vibes with a little bit of class. The food was ok. Something were better than the other. The chicken sandwich we order just did not hit home for us. It was not appealing at all. The sides were pretty good. The macaroni salad was delicious. Things were just a hit or miss with the food. Our waitress was pretty good. She was attentive for the most part. Overall I would go back, but stick to safe things for food. read more

We liked this spot! No frills down a back alley on a rainy Sunday. We were so glad we were able to grab a large table for the 5 of us. The server couldn't have been nicer! We shared nachos and waffle fries. Some of my friends got chili, quesadilla and I tried ham/swiss on croissant with macaroni salad. I liked it! Pro tip: This is a very compact venue. I personally was here as a party of two and felt the larger groups picked a tough venue as available space is limited. A group of 10 came during our meal and I found it very disruptive and crowded once they did. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly, despite being noticeably busy for a late Friday afternoon. For an appetizer, I can never pass up the temptation of a crab dip so we ordered that. After inhaling what was really phenomenal crab dip, we were excited for our food. My daughter ordered a burrito and I picked the club sandwich with fries. The food was delicious, well priced and very fair portions! I took half of my sandwich as leftovers, and ate it later that night - still delicious! Mediocre. Visiting PA from South Carolina, stopped here after Hershey. The service was nice but inattentive, didn't even give menus. I ordered the vegetarian hoagie and the vegetables wernt even cooked. Very disappointed. Fries were good though, and I appreciate a veggie option. We recently moved to the area and some friends brought us here. All the food was great. Our server recommended the brisket sandwich with tomato jam. OMG. Go get that!! I also ordered a Hendrick's Gimlet. The bartender made a really yummy one. Food, wonderful, drinks wonderful, server Eden wonderful. We were all very happy customers. Prices are reasonable compared to surrounding restaurants but I guess you get what you pay for. Service was friendly but slow. I felt like we had to ask for things more than once and it took awhile to even be approached. We got crab nachos and they were decent but they used the cheap round chips and they nickel and dime you for salsa sour cream guac and jalapeños . I got wings - a dozen with two flavors garlic hot and the Hawaiian old bay. They were tasty but they didn't come out hot and crispy. Had lunch on a Saturday around 12pm. Plenty of seats at that time but as we left it was completely full. They do not take reservations. It's a loud atmosphere with little space to walk and between tables. Decor is cool and the building has historic characteristics. Bathroom was disgusting. Having just opened an hour before I got there I'm assuming it wasn't cleaned from the night before. Our waitress was nice but never checked on us. My water was served with a lemon seed stuck to the bottom...I didn't order it with lemon so it scares me to think that cup wasn't even cleaned. The food was really good. They have a lot to pick from it's hard to choose! Portions are an average size and it's not overpriced. read more

It was still good and it paired well with the wrap which had a lot of flavor. It did get quite crowded. The waitress was helpful. Service was a bit slow likely due to the number of customers but my food was delicious so it wasn't a huge deal. We parked off the street a few blocks away. The server did an outstanding job of explaining the menu and giving suggestions. The selection of food and drink was impressive with food that anyone could eat. We decided to order The Works nachos and the Sweet Heat wings. The server warned us how large the "small" nachos were but we didn't listen. When we left we ended up taking 1/2 of them home. Very cool spot. I had the Italian sandwich with side of chips. It was huge and delicious. I almost ordered the chicken wings but will have to try those next time. My friend ordered the quesadillas, said he enjoyed them as well. The restaurant was very busy but we only waited about 2 minutes. The price was also very reasonable. My first time in Lancaster, I believe this is the heart of downtown, very hip area filled with all kinds of restaurants. I recommend and will stop by again on my next visit! read more

Also it's almost unheard of to have a choice of macaroni salad,potato salad,chips or fresh fruit with your sandwich without an up charge being added! The DIPCO is a wonderful local bar for good food and drinks. It's been around for years. We enjoyed an early supper after a show at The Fulton Theater. Imagine a place so perfectly average and sufficient and acceptable that you can't help but just have your expectations barely met. That's Dipco, which is fine, acceptable and affordable but, like, not much else. Pros: Simple but acceptable food. Burgers, Sandwiches, sides. It's all fine. It WILL NOT blow you away, but a burger for 7 bucks will make you happy. A few decent local beers on tap followed by a solid bottle list at reasonable prices. Very reasonable tbh. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. Cons: It's seat yourself with wait-service, which is a bit tricky to navigate a table for more than two for. They don't serve french fries - which is weird, for a bar, right? Other notes: I enjoy their added bar snacks - you can snag chips and salsa or pretzels or whatever for $2-3 which I think is a nice deal if you're having a few Schlitzes. Conclusion: It's good, it's fine, it's whatever. It's the bar you go to when you're having more than one (and I hear the taco special is pretty sweet too). read more

The atmosphere is that of an old school pub. I love the food and drink menu as well. It's placed perfectly right across from the historic central market. Food is simple and consists of traditional bar food (burgers, tacos, wraps etc). The only downside is that sometimes the occasional server really sucks. Some are great, but when you get a bad one, they're really bad. There's this one guy that just stands there and you really have to track him down for every little thing you need. He won't ask you about refills, how was your food, need anything else??? Maybe ownership needs to take a closer look at a few of the bar staff. Otherwise, one of my fav stops and definitely worth checking out if in downtown Lanc. read more
