We went to a few restaurants by chef Jose Avillez and he does not disappoint! Went to Minibar a few years ago and had a wonderful experience. Last night we went to the 2 Michelin starred establishment Belcanto - was blown away by the wonderful food and service. Here at Bairro do Avillez, which is Aire casual setting and seafood-centric, the best dish was absolutely the seafood stew with the super-sized scarlet shrimp. The rice in the stew was cooked perfect, the flavor impeccable and the seafood (claims, garlic shrimps, crab meat) are top notch and screaming freshness from the ocean. We also started with some beef carpaccio that was fantastic.

I chose Pateo at Bairro do Avillez for my birthday dinner and I was thrilled with the experience. I'm a huge Jose Avillez fan and Pateo had been on my list for a while. Bairro do Avillez has a variety of dining sections, but I liked the Pateo menu best. When reserving, be sure to look at the menus and reserve for the correct section. Pateo has a fun, slightly upscale vibe, but the whole place is bustling. And the location is great--you can easily walk into Bairro Alto and Santa Catarina. Everything at Pateo was great. We shared couvert and sangria. Couvert is a must here--the bread is so good. I went with the sea bass as my entree and it was grilled to perfection. I loved it. Being at an Avillez restaurant, I of course had to order the avela (hazelnut dessert), and it was just as decadent as I remembered. My friends enjoyed their entrees and desserts, as well. Service was fantastic. Pateo was the perfect place for a celebratory dinner and I can't wait to explore more of Bairro do Avillez.

Quick tip: there are like 3 separate areas - front is like a casual pub, middle is a open casual dining and then an upper area, for large parties. We made a reservation for the middle dining area (terrace?) - big open space with full bar view, trendy vibe. However - we were seated next to a table with like 3 screaming kids... not so fun. lol Service was great, attentive and not overwhelming. Didn't rush us and gave us space to enjoy our convo. We were partially shouting bc we had competing loud screams in the background. A party of 6, got wine, lots of food to try, we enjoyed ourselves, first night in Lisbon! Most memorable: - Deconstructed nata - Grilled/broiled sea bass - lobster risotto - octopus tartar Happy feasting! #yelplife #lisboa

I believe there are three sections of this restaurant and each section has it's own menu. We dined at the Pateo and I wasn't impressed. I think there is way better Portuguese food around for more affordable prices. Nothing about the dish was particularly unique yet our plates were about $30 each. I had a different friend dine at the front part of the restaurant (that part might be called the bar?) which is more small plates. They said that was delicious so maybe try that instead.

I've eaten at Mr. Avillez's restaurants in the past and the food was great. This place? A mess, total downer. It's 2pm on a Monday so it's dead. Immediately I was handed an additional menu . I was on the patio. The two items I wanted, the octopus and prawns, were on both menus but more expensive on the menu for inside seating. Same preparation. Thanks for the blatant up-sell guys. The staff are completely confused. So many whirling about quick to clear a table but have zero ambition to 'serve'. Within a few minutes the staff stepped on a patron's dog, chased down a couple because the restaurant messed up their check and required them to pay again and a couple asked about the fact they were charged for something that was 'gratis' or on the house. The staff look completely miserable. Which was the vibe. Patrons with money pose as the staff try, in vein, to exude apathy. The food. I ordered the octopus in chili and Kimchi broth and a side, a small bowl of cherry tomatoes. Squid was good but heavy heavy garlic oil salt. I dumped the completely tasteless tomatoes into the small bowl my squid was in and it totally helped cut all the oil salt and garlic. I love garlic and oil and salt but the squid in its own would've needed something anything with it. Bread! The staff could care less about recommendations or whether or not I was bleeding out on the street. I asked for the check and one of the drones buzzed away never to be heard from again. I wasn't in a hurry so waited a while to see if someone would bother, and you shouldn't either. So many great eateries in this town, try them. This IS NOT a picture of the squid from Páteo - Bairro do Avillez. It's of a simple bowl of peppers lime juice and octopus around the corner at Ricardo Bar. 9€. Dig it.

Dinner reservations is a must at Bairro do Avillez, one of Chef Jose Avillez's many restaurants. There are three restaurants located in Bairro do Avillez - Taberna for tapas, Páteo for seafood, and Beco for dinner-and-a-show in experience. My friend and I love seafood and we were very lucky to snag last minute reservations to dine at Páteo. We literally got our reservations a few days prior. When we arrived for our reservation, we waited about 15 minutes, then we were walked through Taberna and waited in a cocktail area for drinks. Although we saw a lot of empty tables in Páteo (our reservations were before the dinner rush), we still had to wait another 20 minutes to be seated. We received fresh pieces of bread, accompanied by olives and butter as an appetizer. For starters, we chose razor clams and prawns with garlic and chili. I couldn't get enough of the prawn's garlic and chili sauce with the bread. It was such a great mix! For my main dish, I chose the grilled sea bass, which was beautifully cooked. We had the Pastel De Nata Mille-Feuille for dessert, and it was light and delicious. Food was good but extremely overpriced and portions were quite small for the price. The ambiance was nice but service was quite slow. Mediocre experience. For the price and hype, we expected more. Still a buzzing atmosphere and overall impressive achievement.

Arguably Portugal's most noteworthy Chef, Michelin two-starred Belcanto the crown jewel of Lisbon's fine dining scene, Bairro do Avillez is a 4-in-1 concept focused on more traditional fare from José Avillez. Translated as Avillez' neighborhood, a sloping street in Chiado home to the former convent now containing Páteo, Tavern, Bar and Pizzeria, it was after checking in outside that a seat beneath high ceilings was occupied in a room near full capacity. Loaded with local art, ceramics and murals surrounding bars and open kitchens, it was with Water poured and Bread served that a lengthy menu was perused, everything from fresh Shellfish to Ferran Adrià's Olives surrounding Chef Avillez's interpretation of Portuguese tradition. Offering some of Portugal's premier Charcuterie, a Foie Gras Terrine with Figs and Brioche simple yet decadent, Empanadas here come as small Pies featuring Partridge, Bacon and Onions inside a delicate golden Crust. Careful not to overindulge on Cornbread, a more difficult task than it seems, Stuffed Spider Crab comes in the style of José's Café Lisboa in a creamy portion large enough to share while Bras-style Cod sees classic technique and modernism merge to create something hearty and comforting. Surely a space best suited for groups, a quote from the Chef stating "Nothing makes us happier than being in good company, sharing the dishes we enjoy the most," Desserts are thankfully less sizable, though deciding between Bairro's Chocolate Cake and a Pastel de Nata Mille-Feuille is a difficult enough task that ordering one of each is advisable.

Came for lunch. Extremely slow and unresponsive service, it took a while for them to get their act together, it even took forever to receive a menu after we were seated. With that being said, the food was amazing. The chilled prawns were so good, fresh and sweet. The octopus came in a cast iron pan with a delicious sauce. When eaten with bread, it was so amazing I think I scooped up every last drop. Go to enjoy the food but with no expectations on the service. I really wanted to give 3 stars due to the service, but the food really was out of this world.

As more casual restaurant by José Avillez, my GF and I were expecting a little more than just a watered down menu with mediocre execution and super fast pacing. I understand we ordered mostly small plates and finger foods but when you are sitting at a small 2 top, it doesn't make sense to bring out the there small plates at once followed right after by the sandwich and fries board. With our drinks and open small plates and utensils it was cramped even for just having small plates. Just a minor annoyance, so no big deal. The biggest issues was that none of the food really stood out or was that special. The "linguica" bread had nice smoke and the salad was refreshing but the bread itself was really mushy. Had they just seared one side to give a better texture contrast in addition to the more crunchy apples and asparagus it would have made it a much better dish. The cod fritter lettuce wrap was just mayo/aioli drizzled over thin potato crisps on a piece of romaine. It was extremely difficult to split, and had it just been for one it ate very very messy with just one bite. More of a basic, crumbly cup than lettuce wrap. The octopus with potatoes and kimchi was decent, but probably my least favorite octopus of my trip through Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon. Small precut pieces in a salty broth with soggy potatoes. The kimchi flavor wasn't pronounced and if you've had legit kimchi from Korea or your local Koreatown you too would be expecting more brightness. Lastly, the sucking pig sandwich. Decent flavors, good accompaniments, solid break ratio but that skin was not Crispy at all. That's the best part of any roast pork dish! The best part was the fries with a smoky aioli and tomato sauce. For the price and the pedigree we were expecting a little more. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes but we weren't really places with any of the 4 that we ordered. When the fries and beers were the best part of your meal, that says a lot. I'd say, save your money and time and go to the more touristy Time Out market where if you pick and choose wisely you'll get a better meal at a better value. (Octopus at Marlene Vieira, suckling pig at Henrique Sa Pessoa and fish at Alexandre Silva)

One of celebrity chef, Jose Avillez's restaurants in Lisbon, this location was lively and fun. We had a variety of starters and mains for lunch. Service was pretty good. The cod lettuce wrap is very good, as mentioned by many Yelp reviewers. Octopus was our favorite item at lunch. It was garlicky, the octopus was cooked perfectly as well. I can't remember the exact name of the meat pie but there was a Portuguese traditional meat pie that was very tasty. The portion was so small though. Finally, we had grilled pork strips which were pretty good as well. Unfortunately this place is pricey so not great value, in my opinion. I liked the decor though, and it had a good energy about it.

Having had a fantastic meal at Belcanto, José Avillez's 2 starred Michelin restaurant, a few days prior, I was so looking forward to Bairro do Avillez to see his work in a more casual setting. Sadly, my friends and I were quite disappointed. The food is supremely overpriced, and the portions small. Despite spending over €200 for 4 people, we were still so hungry that we ended up going to Time Out afterward to get more food. (My appetite is on the smallish side, and I often share just an appetizer and an entree with my husband). The service was also atrocious. Getting our order taken was a bit of an ordeal. We asked for a bottle of water (in addition to the wine and sangria we ordered) and for them to not bring us the couvert. They brought the bread, and we had to ask two more times for the bottle of water. Two of our dishes did not come out and when we mention it to our waitress, her response was "No". Her attitude the whole night had been like she was doing us a favor by talking to us. We were sure we ordered those two dishes because one of them was steak, and she had asked us how we wanted it done and wrote it down. It was only after we listed the two dishes and she consulted her notepad that she went back to check on them. The items from the Taberna menu were overall better than the Pateo menu with the highlights of the meal being the mackerel tartare cones at €5/piece (not shareable), octopus, and the aged beef picanha. The exploding olives were just alright, and that's coming from someone who loved olives and dirty martinis. The pork neck was good, but not mind blowing. The bellota ham was tasty, but not sliced well which made it a little less enjoyable. All the items from the Pateo menu were about the same size as the tapas from the Taberna menu but at double the price and not as good, especially compared to other much better restaurants we'd been to in Lisbon. We had the seafood soup, the prawns with chili and garlic, the lobster and shrimp rice, and the eye filet steak. With so many better options in Lisbon, I'd skip this cramped overrated overpriced unfriendly place.

Came for dinner and the wait was long. Didn't make reservations, which was my main problem. They have some waiting areas but it is packed with people. Once we got seated, ordered some chourico, bacalhau, picanha and fries. The food was good and not overly priced. The restaurant was very vibrant and although service could be better, it was not an issue. Had a decent meal.

2.5 stars. The prices are like NYC high. The food can be good (carabineiro, fresh white fish) but sometimes isn't. The service is not as good as one would expect for these prices. This seems like Avillez is milking his rightly earned fame from Belcanto, which is possibly the best restaurant I have ever been to. I would either just shell out the €160 for Belcanto or not go to any of his restaurants, because it is easy to spend €60 per head here or at Minibar and not be satisfied or even full. read more

Lovely setting with large dining area featuring skylight and open view kitchen. The food was fabulous, and portions were large. Even though the dishes were on the salty side, we enjoyed everything we had here. Wait staff were very welcoming. read more
When we first walked in here, I saw the Michelin sign and thought that we stumbled upon a Michelin star restaurant. It's not but the chef Jose Avillez has 2 from his other Lisboa restaurant Belcanto. Pretentiousness aside, the food here is great and worth our 30 minute wait. On top of that the prices were very reasonable for a restaurant with a Michelin starred chef. The cod wrapped in lettuce was fantastic almost reminded me of a sushi style dish. The octopus was a bit salty but I've never had octopus so tender before. The grilled pork sandwich was such a deal at only 10 euros. The staff was extremely attentive and spoke perfect English. The decor was modern with an open kitchen. If you want fine dining at a good price, this is a great stop in Lisbon. read more

DELICIOUS. I just stayed for appetizers but would return again and again. I had the olives and octopus. Definitely make a reservation if possible, as it was very crowded. The interior is beautiful and I enjoyed my experience. read more

Looks nice. But they are so snobbish they don't even look at new customers waiting. We stood there by the "wait to be seated" sign for more than ten minutes without even given a word of hello or a nodding while six waiters slowly strolled around. Then a group of four arrived, passed beyond us and were immediately greeted, hugged and seated. - Well, our landlord recommended this place to us, but we didn't feel welcome. First rule is attention, so no thanks. Glad to leave our money elsewhere more warm-hearted. read more

Dined here in the taberna section for our first meal in Lisboa. We had the sliced pork mixed platter, then the cod, octopus, pig's trotters, and veal small dishes. Service was quick and friendly. The mixed platter consisted of several delicious sections of charcuterie incidentally pairing nicely with the wine. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the small dishes. An overall outstanding meal to recover from a long flight. read more

I was not inspired by anything on the menu. The atmosphere was sublime. As for our order, we ordered a bottle of JA Jose Avillez signature white wine. Chef Avillez charges €16.50 for his signature, I know for a fact that the wine is over priced, okay, it's not bad, but I've had much better for €3.00. Okay, so the wine I get is less than €3.00, it's not served in a restaurant, so I guess I'll let the €16.50 purchase for his name on the bottle slide. Actually that is the theme of my entire review. I've had better for less money. On the order, bread service, tasty, but it's €5.00 or €2.50 per person. We had a margherita pizza, very bland, very thin, but not cooked so much that it turned into a cracker which also surprisingly included 3 fresh basil leaves. I order a bowl of Pho... now although the bowl was small and it wasn't as much as I'm used to getting when ordering Pho, it was really tasty. I'm sure however, that as tasty it was, it wasn't worth €10.50. We ordered ceviche, and it was at most 75grams of fish for €11.50, and it was served with sweet potato. The sweet potato took up most of the area of the plate, so I'm at odds with the dish being called ceviche. It should have been called a small sweet potato with ceviche garnish. I'm not sure how sweet potato fits the realm of ceviche, but I suspect it has everything to do with the arrogance of the Chef Avillez menu. To end dinner we ordered 2 pregos. These were served on Azores style bread which mimics a soft English muffin. Although the meat was tasty, but a bit under cooked to our order, Azores style bread doesn't stand up well enough for the sandwich. Azores style bread is best served toasted with warm butter and fig jam, not as the base for Prego do Lombo. A hearty ciabatta would have been a better choice. It was served with a small bowl of fries which had several toppings. I'm not sure what was what on the toppings. The fries were cooked perfectly. Again, Chef Avillez must be very proud of these sandwiches at €12.00 each. The meat was smaller than the size of a playing card. So, final thoughts. Bairro Avillez is a tasting restaurant, where you go when you want to say you ate at a restaurant associated with a Michelin Chef. You don't go there if you are hungry and need a meal. Again, there was nothing wrong with the food, the presentation, or the atmosphere, it wasn't about the food, it was about paying for arrogance. The staff was overly attentive. I despise wait staff that insist on pouring my bottle of wine or water into my glass when said bottles are resting on the table within easy reach. Just serve the food, and be available by sight on occasion. Okay, so the kicker is that we had contemplated on having dessert, but decided to skip dessert and go around the corner for ice cream at Chiado Terrasse but despite waiting outside the door to the place for 5 minutes no one appeared to seat us, so we left. read more

Perfectly fine. Long wait, okay service (waiter brought a different beef dish than the one we ordered), very pricey for Lisbon, lots of tourists, felt like we could be in any big international city. You can do much better. read more

It was our last night in Lisboa and we had been dying to try a restaurant by Avillez. This one did not disappoint. We got in without reservations and just a 30 minute wait on a Sunday. They let you wait at the bar. The service was a bit slow at the bar, but the hostess and servers were great. The octopus is soft and the kimchi flavors complement it perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try Portuguese seafood and meats paired with interesting international spices and dishes. read more

We ate here on our first night in Lisbon. It was so average that we canceled our reservation at Cantinho do Avillez. It seems that the Avillez name has been commercialized - and the quality. The gazpacho was decent but the rest was overpriced, over salted, and not memorable. read more

We visited this restaurant this past week while we were vacationing in Lisbon from New York. It was totally overrated. Upon entering the restaurant, there was a cockroach right inside the entry way! We should of ran out then! There were two young ladies screaming because the cockroach crawled on one of their feet. However, since we were visiting from NYC and understand the urban city life, we are sensitive to the fact that those things are out of control from time to time. We were seated at our table after waiting a couple of minutes to get attention from the hostess and a rude patron who decided to cut us in line. At our table, we were extremely cramped as a party of four stuck in between two larger parties and we were not sure why they could not seat us somewhere else in the restaurant as there were plenty of open tables on a Thursday night. After we sat down, I understand that in Portuguese custom you usually have to pay for bread ( depends on the restaurant) but the bread was forcefully placed on our table and we didn't even have enough time to decline it as our waitress dropped the basket on our table and quickly left. There was no asking if we would like bread or not, just as if they ask if you would like still or sparkling water. We though maybe it was complimentary since this is a popular nice restaurant with a celebrity chef. Our waitress was a "know it all"...no she does not know American culture. We began ordering, and she told us we were ordering too much and how it was ridiculous. I politely explained to her that we were American, New Yorkers..foodies..and that we like to eat a lot. She said Portuguese people like to eat a lot too and this is too much. So we allowed her to manipulate our order ...fine. Sure enough , when the food arrived, we all looked at each other and were like nope this is not going to be enough. We finished every last bite, but not because it was delicious but because we were hungry from a long day hiking in Sintra and because it was a pricier restaurant than most we were going to in Lisbon. We ordered dessert too. All the food was mediocre at best and the locals all told us to steer away before we went but of course we fell for the tourist trap. And oh.. on the back of the menu in small fine print when looking for dessert we see, bread is 4euro per person. We had a new server close us out and I did mention how the bread thing was absolutely ridiculous. I said 16 euro to share a bread basket ?? It was super deceitful.. we didn't ask for the bread and we didn't want the bread. He offered to take it off the bill, and we let him. To top off the night, two more cockroaches graced our presence upon leaving the restaurant. read more

Man is this place amazing. Awesome drinks, the tenderest of octopus, delicious mains, and amazing wine selection and cocktails. If you want a cocktail get the caipirinha it is to die for. The pork is amazing as is the garlic shrimp in the bread stew. You can't beat this place in Lisbon. read more

The drinks are outstanding too. Try the Portuguese gin with ginger, lemon, and cardamon. read more

Sat in the Patio and was underwhelmed. French fries cold, the shrimp -whatever it was had such indistinct flavors as to make it a bland curry. My tuna was mediocre-they didnt ruin it, but the potato's it came with were cold and bland. It was way to big in the back where we ate, the alleged patio, and no in the least intimate, as the front end of the restaurant was. Felt cheated. The little mixed salad was good though as was the bread. The rest, BORING. read more

Amazing seafood and charcuterie plate. Cod fish lettuce wrap was tasty and the fish was perfectly fried. The giant shrimp was my favorite because the meat was so tender and the sauce, perfectly balanced. The place itself was beautiful with a hidden room in the back for special events. I had a wonderful experience here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon. It was one of my favorite restaurants that definitely captured the taste of what Portugese cuisine has to offer. First night in Lisbon and decided to try Bairro do Avillez with family for dinner. We made the mistake of relying on Yelp reviews this time; The plan was to try the Taberna section of the restaurant as we were tired and seeking something more low-key. When we were informed that they had no availability, they directed us to the Pateo section of the restaurant. We all tried different things and the ambiance of the space was quite nice. Ruining the whole experience was the absolutely terrible service we received. Pretentious, inattentive and obnoxious are just a few of the ways that our insufferable server could be described. It ruined the whole dining experience for our group. There's nothing worse than servers and a restaurant that are too full of themselves. Adding further insult to injury, a family member became seriously ill later, very likely from the food (we all understand that it is very difficult to pin down the proximate cause of food poisoning, but it was determined by all that this was a bit too coincidental). Avoid this place. There are simply too many other better options in this neighborhood. read more

Really charming decor, nice staff. I had such high hopes, I walked back to this place after a long walk to have a small meal. Had four light dishes... two lousy different fish soups (one watery, one way too strong and thick), a tiny meat pie I didn't care for, and a tomato salad which was a fine pile of sliced tomatoes. I was just in the mood for soup, and was so disappointed, could barely get myself to finish half. In the end, I was overcharged for two meat pies (English menu said 2 'un' which maybe was supposed to mean minimum of 2) plus 3 eur for bread we did not get (refunded). Some other dishes on other patrons' plates looked better, but the soup sucked. read more

For the service, the price, the food, the atmosphere, the fun...have to give 5 stars. Pedro our waiter was attentive and helpful. He also had a great personality. Service from Dil was likewise fantastic. Everything was fast, hot, and exactly as advertised. We watched the food being prepped at the window and saw amazing precision. We started with exploding olives, very different and worth a try just for the experience. Dinner was squid with rice prepped with squid ink. The flavor was tremendous but what made it over the top was the shaving of chili pepper circles that added the right amount of spice. We also had the sea bass with mash potato purée and green beans. Just so light and delicious. Dessert was a fantastic passion fruit ball with coconut sorbet. So creative and skillfully prepared. Served in a concur shell. We had the nicest Portuguese wine for dinner and port wine for dessert. The entire evening cost a smudge over €100. Just can't rave enough about the night. Thank you to all at Bairro Do Avillez. read more
this place is good, but the wait was ridiculous. granted, we didn't have reservations and had to wait for a table at the taberna (front section of restaurant which doesn't take reservations), but don't tell us it is going to be 20 min when it was over an hour. anyway, we got a pitcher of some delicious cocktail to tie us over while we waited. then we ordered a bunch of tapas like meats and cheeses, mini sandwiches, octopus w/ kimchi (fabulous), and the tomato salad. food was good, but portions were small. it actually worked out, b/c we weren't super hungry. read more

This is comfort food well prepared served in a casual but upscale atmosphere. We started with an excellent white sangria infused with mint and fresh fruit. The clams in garlic and giant grilled prawns were perfectly seasoned. The octopus salad with Kimchi had just the right amount of spice and lemon. I really liked this restaurant ! The decor inside is elegant yet still casual and comfortable enough. Service was friendly and fast (they did also speak English). The food is mainly tapas style to share and each dish we tried had great flavour ! We had a few different items : Cod-which I didn't realize cod could be so delicious and exciting, perfectly cooked and seasoned grilled Octopus and sweet potato, Linguicia and corn bread with salad as well as Grilled Iberian pork (crispy on the outside but Melts in your mouth) and Vanilla orange custard for dessert. Every single item was delicious and fresh and full of great flavour not to mention presented beautifully! My only complaint is that this was a tad expensive but honestly if I had to go back and do it again I absolutely would so it was worth it ! Definitely try this place if you're in the area but make sure you have a reservation during peak times or you will be sure to wait since this spot is very popular ! read more

Spent ten days in Portugal and this was honestly that worst and most expensive we had... the cod was so over salted and dry you tasted nothing beyond the salt. The prawns with egg yolk were cooked in a sauce that was almost the exact same as the seafood soup appetizer and we watched it sit on the kitchen counter for 15 minutes waiting to be picked up so when we came it was Luke warm... and we had a reservation for 22:00 and were seated at 22:40 after the waitress realized we were waiting for a table at pateo not taberna which is next door. Honestly go get a cod cake at a tiny local place and skip the over salted and over price experience. We wish we would have. read more

I have never had anything like the red prawns here. The other shrimp and their sauce was delicious. They don't take reservations and I was able to get a table on a Friday night with little waiting. read more

Espaço super simpático, atendimento impecável e a comida incrível. Jantamos na taberna, os petiscos são ótimos.. o bacalhau com broa estava muito bom! O naco de atum também, só devia ter vindo um bocadinho mais mal passado ..mas o sabor era QQ coisa! O prego do lombo super macio. A tábua para entrada tinha uma oferta simpática de queijos e presuntos, o cone de carapau é divinal! A sangria branca acompanhou MT bem! Estava ótima. Para finalizar não podíamos deixar de provar os doces.. o leite creme e o pastel de nata c gelado de café são a cereja no topo do bolo! Recomendo :) read more

Terrific cervejaria/gastropub type experience in Baixa-Chiado. A combination of portuguese traditional dishes and progressive variants, with the food very well executed. Great cheese offerings (try the serra da estrella) and a very good drink and wine list. Great spot for a casual dinner or a lazy afternoon meal. Could not recommend more. read more

We went to the Mini Bar restaurant for a birthday dinner, and it was excellent. The waitress, Francisca, provided excellent service, explaining the dishes and recommending the best wines. She even surprised the birthday girl, making the moment even more special. The food was delicious and the atmosphere fantastic. read more
