We saw him surface a few times and he brought all of us joy Whale watching is the sort of activity where you could see tons of whales or nothing, and I certainly felt lucky to see the young male on his journey north. While we didn't get to see a whale, we were lucky enough to encounter a massive pod of dolphins -- probably 30 to 50 of them -- swimming so close to our boat! They even have a whale watching guarantee on their website that says if you don't see a whale then the next trip is free which is really neat. This is a small and locally owned business whose crew is very respectful of the wildlife. They ensure to keep a distance to keep the wildlife safe.
