Purple Light Vacations was recommended to us by Brand g Vacations, when we were planning our first trip with them - a river cruise on the Seine. Jonathan responded to my email inquiry immediately, and I was speaking with him by phone within two hours. We were pleased that he had extensive experience booking clients on Brand g tours, and was very familiar with hotels and tours in Paris. Within a day he had us booked on the Brand g tour and found flights that included a discount on our hotel stay in Paris after the tour. He also help select and book day tours in and around Paris. On the morning we were to fly out of Palm Springs and connect to Paris, we found that our first flight was six hours late! The result was that we would miss our connecting flight to Paris. I contacted Jonathan early in the morning and he coordinated with the airline to rebook on flights that still got us to Paris the same day and only six hours later than we originally planned. His help saved our trip and we still made our boat cruise departure on time. Throughout the planning and during our trip, Jonathan was always available by text or email. We picked Jonathan from Purple Light Vacations for our trip to Europe after reading numerous on-line reviews describing his commitment to ensuring successful trip plans and especially his quick response/help to their real-time trip issues. We also liked his pricing after contacting others who charged more and didn't have similar reviews. We traveled to five cities across Portugal and Spain and took planes, trains and drove rental cars in the process. We were happily surprised that our trip went really well; better than expected ! IMO, Jonathan's knowledge and fine tuning across our trip made the difference. His guidance on * Which cities to focus time on, proved to be correct and was completely different than I initially thought after doing the trip research myself. * Hotels (centrally located, near Metro, with breakfast, even at a higher cost) was very stabilizing and key to our daily transits. * Which flights and trains to take took a lot of planning anxiety away and proved very helpful - for us to relax/sleep (which companies and seating) * Tours was surprisingly helpful, as we had pre-planned excursions in each city. This really lowered our anxiety each day and we learned a lot about each city. The biggest surprise was that he actually refunded some of our initial down payment back to us, because, as he initially told us, he makes money helping us book locations, travel and tours. I am so glad that my friend and I found Purple Light Vacations for our travel agency to assist with our vacation to Italy. Each of the Hotels we stayed at were beautiful and exceeded our expectations.
