Additionally the morning yoga and afternoon massage were a great way to unwind. Bonus hike up a very scenic hill is adjacent to the hotel and very easy to access. Todos Santos is a gem and a great, up and coming alternative to the touristy nature of Cabo. Hotel San Cristobal is a perfect boutique getaway for a more authentic experience in Mexico. I highly would recommend going to this part of the peninsula on your next trip to Baja and checking on Cristobal for an elevated experience.

We enjoyed coffee on our balcony every morning and fell asleep to the sound of tides coming and going. Great breakfasts - everything was fresh and so delicious. The breakfast burrito was a perfect size and stuffed with eggs, potatoes, and bacon. Our king room was outstanding. Upstairs on the corner. Everything was clean and the bed was so comfortable. We are on the edge of the main downtown in San Jose, so everything is walkable. Restaurants, shops and bars all over the area. We stayed in the pool suite which includes a loveseat, coffee bar area, frig and the TV is a bit awkward in the armoire. I'd say if you are interested in TV, don't stay here. Also, if you aren't with a close partner the bathroom and shower have no door so privacy isn't exactly possible. Lots of space in the suite. Wi-Fi is 2 bars, so very weak and we are as close to reception as you can be (not sure where the router is). Staff was very nice and let us check in a bit early. Reception closes at 10 pm. 4 stars because it's a little dirty with stains in the floor and wall, loveseat is quite worn too. Also, in hot times it doesn't get very cold in the room. There are ceiling fans but the AC is in the bathroom and just isn't capable to cool the whole room despite running 24/7. Just an FYI for the hot natured people! :) Would recommend though, it is authentic and adorable.

The resort itself is just beautiful, but I have to say what makes this resort so great is the SERVICE! From the minute you arrive to the last wave goodbye, it's nothing but love; they are like family here. Just a few mentions: Alberto, David and Jose were the bellmen and are all super friendly. It was nice to start the day off with a 'buenas dias', and to end your day with 'buenos noches'. We appreciated their dining suggestions, their smiles and the small conversations as well. At the pool, Rigo and Gabriel were our servers, and they are sooo on it. Every morning, we'd get there at about 11am, which is kinda late, but our usual seats were always set up. They never leave you with an empty hand. I don't think I really ever had to ask for a drink, unless I wanted to change things up. At one point, I thought the hubby was nursing his beer, but it turned out he had finished it, and they boys made sure another was there before his can was empty. Food service at the bar starts at noon, so Rigo and Gabriel knew to get our order in right before it opened so we'd be the first order. Spa service was incredible. Their spa in general is really nice with great amenities. The front desk personnel consisted of Carlos and Elisabeth and they both helped us book nine spa appointments. Zoe and Loenes were our masseuse; both have some good hands; we requested them each time we returned. Restaurant service was great the few times we dined there. Zarel was our waiter, and he was very attentive. Estephany and Alma were the hostess and they mostly helped us on our to-go orders. Dannia was our dedicated concierge, and she was just a text away. I had requested maintenance to come by for misc. things like changing out a light bulb, etc, and Dannia took care of it, and fast. She always text back immediately which was nice. I LOVE this resort and since discovering it, have been making the effort to go back at least twice a year. April and October 2025 can't come fast enough!
