This is a go to place for all things Mexican fish dishes. They serve it all. A large restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. Easy parking. Service is fast and hospitable. Food is sooo good. My favorite is the fish tacos. Large fish fillets wrapped in double corn tortillas and all the fixings.

A friend recommended this place for some good seafood. We are from out of state (WA, not Wa DC)so we love fresh seafood. The place was fairly clean and the service was super friendly. The portions are huge and food tasted fresh.

    * good seafood * micheladas are great * service is prompt *Good for takeout * casual ambiance Food is always great here when in the neighborhood we like to stop by. Cucaracha shrimp is our go-to appetizer today we got 7 mares and a fish taco. The flavors never disappoint. Must try it if you're around and want some hood mariscos highly recommend the Pescado Zarandiado this plate can be sharable.

The food is excellent . I had a fish grilled in a Chipotle sauce and covered in tender shrimp and octopus that wasn't chewy or tough. Loved it. They need help with the decor, but it a reasonably priced seafood restaurant. Go!

The food here was delicious, cooked at the moment so be ready to wait a little bit. The service was excellent!

Been here a few times, food is always good, even if a little pricey for a few things. They give you a little cup of consume (soup) to start. I got the shrimp and fish soup, huge, lots of fish and shrimp. Lemonade is fresh and good. My only complaint is that service is always very slow, so plan to wait. Nice location.

I've been here a few times but I don't think I will be spending my money here anymore. The food was mediocre, the fish tacos were good but nothing extraordinary (you can get better tacos at the roachcoach). The michelada and clamato were ok. What was definitely a "must not have", was their tostadas - the aguachile, ceviche de camarón and Al tata ($20) tostada was just bad, big disappointment. The aguachile is basically water with Chile verde- no lime or salt and mainly red onion. The tostada Tata has no flavor other than the black pasilla salsa on top(I'm assuming it's pasilla) and it's really bad. The worst part is they are understaff and the service is not the best for a Mexican sea food place that you would usually get at other sea food restaurants. The only thing I would say it's good it's their consomé (free with purchase ) other than there isn't much else nice to say. I imagine they are cutting down on quality of ingredients, you can tell. Even the ketchup seems watered down. If you do decide to come here, don't get anything that is not cooked/fried.

Pero eso si, el mesero exigiendo la propina, hablé con el gerente y me dijo que tratan de evitar eso, pero la verdad yo no vi que trataran de evitarlo, al contrario, está de sobra decir que no regresaremos.

I usually go to Convoy but wanted to try something different. When I looked at their bbq pork photo on yelp, I knew I had to try it. I also liked that they box up your meal after you're done even though there is a small fee to do so, which I don't mind since I usually end up spilling food on myself when I do it. They also offered lemon with water and chopsticks. Service was quick & friendly and the lady even added extra broth to our wonton noodle soup. This place named itself "sushi bar," but it also says it's an authentic Mexican seafood restaurant?…read moreThat feels like an identity crisis lol. I was given chips, salsa, and an appetizer soup thing in a cup. The chips were fine. I thought the soup was alright. I didn't like the salsa as I found it too watery and lacking in flavor, more like a hot sauce than a salsa. I ordered two hand rolls, a spicy tuna roll and a salmon skin roll. I thought they were good. I found the salmon skin too crispy and deep fried for my preference, but it was still good. Finally, I realized that not only do I never eat authentic Mexican seafood, I'm not even sure what that entails. So I dug through the menu and saw something called "Don Tono," described as stuffed with seafood, but without much other explanation. I asked the waitress what this Don Tono is exactly, and to my surprise, she wasn't sure either. So, of course I had to order it. It was a big thing of aluminum foil with goodies inside, kinda like a seafood bake. It was good, although I found the flavor to be a undertuned. I would've liked some Cajun seasoning. The best texture and taste was probably the fish itself as it was light and flaky without being mushy, and it absorbed the umami of some of the other seafood. I thought the shrimp and shellfish were just okay, and maybe just a tad overcooked for me. Honestly, I was also not a huge fan of the cheese here; I feel like it doesn't quite fit. I also got some rice and salad with it, which were both fine.

The magnet to…read moreget here, was that I recently discovered they were the only restaurant that was advertising Puerto Nuevo lobster. So I got there on my first evening, and that's what I ordered. It took about 40 minutes to get to the table, but once it arrived, it was beautifully presented cooked optimally. The portion seemed a little smaller than I expected (came in only one 600 gm size). The lobster that was split in half sat on a moist bed of Spanish rice, came with refried beans and freshly grilled vegetables. See my pictures. The freshly made thin tortillas were superb, but one had to be careful or they would dry soon. After you finish, they give you an apperetiv, in a small cylindrical crystal glass. Basically, think of it like Kahlúa with milk, vanilla and ice. It was fantastic. The chips and salsas that preluded the main order were also superb. It is rarely and not always, that I go back to the same restaurant when I'm on a short trip. On top of that the next day? Yes, here it had to be the exception. So this second time, I was here to try the fish soup (exceptional) and the grilled loin of red snapper. I've heard of a pork loin, a beef loin, but this was a first. The entree is a large portion. A thick, succulent, colorful, well charred and grilled portion of seafood, with firm texture and spicy taste. Service here was high class, on both occasions.
