Denisse was the absolute best. My partner and I had never explored Tijuana before despite living in Southern California, and we thought a tour would be a good way to get our bearings before going deeper into the city's culture and offerings on our own. I'm SO glad we made that decisions. Denisse, as a local, knew so much about Tijuana -- the real stuff, not only the stuff you can already google -- and was so easy to hang with all day. We felt totally comfortable and safe, too. She took us to great spots to eat (steamed tacos -- who would have thought they would be so good!) and interesting places to experience. We went to the border wall, which was an emotional experience, and the luchador museum, which was quirky and fun, and did a tequila tasting -- all in all it was a lot of fun. I recently used the Baja Ride and Tours to get from Tijuana to Valle and I could not be more pleased with the service. I worked with Erick on setting a schedule for my family and I. They were extremely helpful suggesting places, picking areas and just keep a good set of communication. They were even able to last minute include 2 more people and somehow managed to get a bigger vehicle for us last minute. This made the experience much better for my family and I. The driver, Carmen, was incredibly professional and courteous. She was always on time, and made sure to take the safest route possible. She was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to provide interesting information about the places we passed through. I felt completely safe and secure during the entire journey. This was our first and only tour experience in Mexico and we couldn't be happier! Erick booked and got everything arranged for us ahead of time as well as confirmed pickup location. We arrived on foot across the border a few minutes early and he met us early and saved much anxiety in relation to the border. We have never gone on foot in to Tijuana so this was great! Pickup went awesome he took us to a few different locations for photos on the way to Los Portales De Garcia. The entire trip was so great we had brunch alongside a gorgeous view and went next door to Encanto. Literally saw a pod of dolphins and had the best afternoon. Exceptional Service! Fenomenal! Exceeded my expectations! I can't stress it enough how much I enjoyed my birthday trip to Valle De Guadalupe. I absolutely appreciate my tour guide, Cris, who gave us exceptional service. Since the start of booking my tour, he and his team were great on communicating with me via text message regarding my itinerary for the day. I had actually done my own research on wineries/ restaurants and they accommodated my requests. I was able to adjust my itinerary with his recommendations while also doing some of the things I originally had in mind. Everything was well explained since the start. We had constant communication. We arrived to TJ by walking the border. We then took off to Ensenada. I wanted to eat breakfast so ho recommended us a spot-Salvia Blanca (great service and drinks!). We then went to Frida Winery (A MUST SEE! Highly recommend). Then he took us to Decantos Vinicola, another great location with a tour to their winery process. Finally, to my request, we headed to Los Portales de Garcia restaurant. Another great location to end the night with live music, food and great cocktails. This was an amazing experience. Our driver was Marco who met us at TJ border. He provided very clear instructions where to meet him. It was an easy drive down to the Valle. We originally had plans to go to Vina de Frannes but they were closed due to private event. Instead we went to Xolo which was an amazing recommendation. Lunch was at Fauna, then we stopped at another winery after that. Marco took us to this great bakery with fresh olive bread and other treats. We also drove along Rosarito at the end. Marco went above and beyond by ensuring that our hosts at the winery and the restaurant took good care of us. He also took photos of us which he sent to us later. This tour exceeded our expectations. Chris curated a detailed itinerary to match our energy! He let us stop for local food between the winery tours (1$ delicious tacos). He was informative about the area and fun to be around. He made sure we were safe and all having a great time. I loved the places he picked out especially the Frieda Kahlo place that had flights of tequila. Walking across the border was easy there wasn't any lines luckily. We had a group of 6 people and we made five stops (including gas/station with an outdoor bathroom, two beautiful wineries, 1 taco shop per our request and a delicious restaurant La Justinas (which had the monster mash on repeat in the bathroom). read more

The trip to TIjuana was our long-awaited trip. We considered a few other alternatives on how to explore Tijuana before we decided with Baja Tour. Surely they did not disappoint- as we had a wonderful time with Erick. He arrived on time at the agreed meeting place- which is at a pharmacy right outside Tijuana customs office. Erick speak very fluent English and he put us at ease immediately and throughout our time in TIjuana. We felt safe at all times. From the meeting place, we walked a short distance to get to his car and our first stop was birria taco shop- which was brilliant. Then after that went to the Border Wall, the giant Mexican Flag, strolled along the Avenida Revolucion from a hotel to the giant arch, to the oldest church in TIjuana, a traditional candy shop, Caesars hotel, then another taco shop and before finally he dropped us back at the border crossing. Erick was very approachable and knowledgeable. He explained to us about the culture and story behind the food and places we went to. He also helped us to communicate with the local when we needed something. We could also enjoy the tour at our own pace (since there was 6 of us- and 6 is the max group number). Although we walked quite a bit (and the crossing back to the US was a horrendous 2.5 hr wait in the cold), we had a very good time in Tjuana. It was largely thanks to Erick and Baja tour. I highly recommended this tour and the operator for whoever thinking of coming to TIjuana or Baja California in general. read more

Best driving service I've ever had. I had tried different drivers and this is by far the most reliable and professional service I've had. Planned a trip with my wife and some friends. The entire time we were taken care of my Chris and Marco. They did not hesitate to do pit stops along the way (Oxxo, Calimax, quick taco spot) which helped a lot. They didn't even charge us extra for any of that...they are really easy to work with. We spent the whole day going "winery hopping" and they made sure we had reservations at every place. They always asked if we needed anything from the market as we enjoyed the wineries. Chris and Marco pretty much knew someone at every Winery so that makes it easy....especially when it comes to receiving good service at places. We made sure to tip them at the end because we were so content with the service. Overall, a safe trip. We will be using them again in the summer. read more

My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to Valle De Guadalupe for our anniversary. As many know, this is an upcoming town, we really did not do our research before heading out. We assumed we can use Uber services throughout the town. Once we arrived we quickly learned that wasn't the case. You MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION set up prior to your arrival. I was panicking and decided to go on yelp to find a ride to our reservations. I called and was greeted by one of the guys, I quickly explained the situation and told him we were basically stranded. Always brought out a small step stool to help with getting out of the van. Gave on the fly recommendations for wineries to visit based on a flexible itinerary. What an incredible day with Baja Rides and Tours! Our driver and guide, Chris, was very communicative leading up to our tour day. He picked my boyfriend and I up from our hotel in Tijuana promptly in the morning and then we were off to el Valle de Guadalupe. We knew very little about the region and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. Chris was knowledgeable and personable and we had a great time getting to know him throughout our day (he's got some great stories!). He brought us to four great wineries and offered flexibility based on the vibe and type of winery we wanted to visit next. He also arranged for us to have dinner at our last winery, Norte 32, which was a beautiful end to our day.
