Throughout the years I've ordered numerous cakes from Baked by Blair and they've all been amazing. From birthday cakes, to cheesecakes, to cookies, pastries, I swear there's nothing Blair can't do. Most recently I ordered a custom Baby Shark cake for my son's second birthday. For this cake I sent her a photo of a cake I found on Pinterest and without hesitation she was like "I got this!". Frankly I just thought she was going to use the photo as inspiration, but she actually replicated the photo and made it even better. As per usual, the cake was not only beautiful but delicious. I received so many compliments from the cake and everyone kept asking me for her contact. Blair is absolutely amazing and if you are not getting your cake from her, you are definitely missing out! Baked by Blair was recently a pop-up at the Brick Sunday market so I went to pick up a breakable chocolate heart and shop the market, this being my first time to go. When I arrived, everything was setup and so cute! I arrived around 12:00 which is right as the market opened. The booth was fully setup and ready to shop at which was nice as some other vendors were delayed and still setting up. Not only did Blair have the adorable breakable heart (I've wanted want for so long and was happy she had them available), but she also had delicious cookies, cupcakes and mini heart-shaped cakes for Valentines Day. Blair herself was super friendly and so fun to chat with. Inside the breakable heart was candy (many items that are my favorites even) and little heart shaped cookies. Everything tasted delicious (the heart especially) and the cookies were good too. Definitely would order more from Blair! read more

Blair is baking up bodacious baked biscuits and blondies? I got to have one of Blairs cookies- I was so thankful for this Thankful Thursday cookies we got at the Yelp Event with the Plant Shoppe. These sugar cookies were exquisitely decorated with colored frosting, crisp and light, sweet and delicious. The cookie was individually wrapped, and had a little card on it to let us know where it came from. It felt nice to get the cookie all wrapped up to go. Baked by Blair Play offered a cookie decorating class for yelp this week. She made kits available to us to purchase. They could be mailed to several locations within Texas where they could be picked up at the bakery or from her as she was out and about delivering it all over San Antonio the day before the presentation. I was very impressed by her commitment and her willingness to meet you in far North San Antonio since I was driving in from Austin! I really appreciated it. I purchased three kits and my two granddaughters will be participating in the training with me. I had the unexpected pleasure of receiving one of Blair's awesome cookie decorating kits this week. Through a virtual Yelp event, Blair did a tutorial on how to decorate my cookies as well as just general baking information. Her story is a sweet one (pun obviously intended) - Blair discovered her love of baking through TGBBS. Through experimenting with different confectionary treats and posting her creations on social media, orders started coming in and she could make a living doing what she loved! I'm not local to San Antonio but Blair was able to ship me my cookie kit and it was perfect. Not only did I really enjoy decorating my own cookies, they were DELICIOUS!! I first heard about baked by blair through a yelp event. It was a christmas cookie decorating class on zoom. I didn't think much of it prior to attending, but the class was so fun and informative! And me and my (adult) family members had a really fun time decorating the cookies. It was more enjoyable than I'd thought it would be. It was relaxing painting the cookies and fun to see how creative each other got. And then, the best part was eating the cookies afterwards!! These sugar cookies were soft and sweet and melt into your mouth. I'm not a huge sweets person, and don't really like when things just taste like straight sugar, but these cookies had the best balance of sweetness. So I put another another custom order for diy cookies for my anniversary!! It's a nice covid-friendly activity to stay home and decorate cookies. Blair was very accommodating and helpful when I ordered. She put together a nice set of dozen cookies for decorating with four different icing colors and various sprinkles. Again, so fun to decorate the cookies! And they were, of course, delicious . It was so hard not to eat all the cookies in one sitting.
