These dog treats made my sweetie very sick! $300 vet bill to boot! Don't risk your pets with them!

My dog has been there for 5 years. I left very high 5 points reviews in the past for 2 times here…read moreand a 4 point in the past. However this time I am giving them 1 star point. This early year they accidentally cut my dog's nail too short and caused my dog bleeding. Here are what I am very unsatisfied about. 1. They didn't notice me that my dog is injured from her toe nail when we picked her up. I found out her nail was bleeding by seeing blood on the floor in my house after my dog got home from the Pink Pucci. 2. I called to tell them about this. Asking if the groomer trim or cut her nail. They didn't give me a yes or no answer. Only said maybe. 3. I asked what can they do with this situation. They didn't know what to do and didn't offer any refund. So I asked if we can get refund and if there is a vet bill can they pay for it, then the guy in the phone said okay. So they did issue a refund of the grooming fee. During this phone call process I was being very polite. I said if you injured my dog then it's common sense you have to do something to compensate me. We love going to your place and will continue go. 4. Because I believe it was just an accident and since my dog has been used to go there, I called them again for another grooming appointment. But the front desk lady kept on telling me there is no availability for my dog to go and would call me back later after she check for availability, but they never called me back. I called them many times during their business hours and even left a voice message, still, no one call me back. From this experience I realized these are their problems 1. No any policy of any kind of injury happened during their service for customers. They seem do not have any insurance cover any in store injury compensation. 2. Lack of professional customer training. The front desk people does not know how to deal or talk to customers when any injuries happened of the dogs in their care. 3. The grooming process is not transparent. As the customer we do not know who is actually grooming our dogs. The grooming progress is all behind the glass of back side of the store where we see nothing of what they do.

In addition to that, they have a new groomer, Erick, that has bathed her a couple times and also does fur cuts. We have been having issues with burrs in our backyard getting stuck in her curly fur (she is a goldendoodle) and he took care of that for me. Now we are set for the summer, and I don't have to worry about digging out burrs on a daily basis. This service makes it so convenient for our family. Plus: Convenient, knows what he is doing, reasonable cost Cons: can't think of any.

The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and clearly well maintained. However, the pricing…read morestructure is extremely high and continues to increase. Boarding is now (February 2026) close to $100 per night for a small/medium dog, which already places it on the higher end compared to other facilities. In addition to that, there is a flat $35 late checkout fee and a $25 same-day reservation fee! The added charges feel excessive, especially when availability could simply be declined if they are fully booked for boarding that day. (Like other facilities) Pickup and drop-off window times are very limited, particularly on weekends with verrry little flexibility. Communication can also be frustrating, as phone calls often go unanswered, and reminders about pickup times can feel overly aggressive. While the facility is aesthetically impressive, the overall cost and rigid policies, staff may not justify the value for many pet owners.

NEVER COME HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER CHOICE…read more We brought our toy poodle to ACCESS Animal Hospital because I suspected he was having a pancreatitis flare-up. We were scared and wanted help as quickly as possible. Instead, we felt like we walked into a business that saw our fear as an opportunity. Before discussing a reasonable treatment plan, we were charged over $1,300 for diagnostics (X-rays, ultrasound, bloodwork, etc.). After all of that, we were told he needed to be hospitalized for 24-48 hours at an estimated cost of $4,800-$6,100. We were devastated. Fortunately, we called a friend who works at Orange County Animal Hospital and immediately transferred our dog there. The difference was unbelievable. Their staff was compassionate, moved much faster, and took a thoughtful, measured approach that balanced what our dog actually needed with the financial reality every pet owner faces. Our dog was successfully treated overnight, and the total bill was about $1,400. We were also told the same diagnostic workup would have cost around $500 there instead of the $1,300 we had already paid. That experience made it impossible not to wonder whether ACCESS's recommendations were driven by what was best for our dog--or by what would generate the biggest bill. As a pet owner, you are at your most vulnerable during an emergency. You'll do almost anything to save your animal. In my opinion, ACCESS takes advantage of that desperation with staggering prices and an aggressive approach to treatment that can leave families feeling like they have no choice but to spend thousands of dollars on the spot. To make matters worse, with the exception of a couple of employees, we found the staff to be cold and unfriendly. The veterinarian we dealt with showed very little empathy during one of the most stressful nights we've ever had with our dog. I understand that emergency veterinary medicine is expensive. I expected to pay a premium. What I did not expect was to feel pressured into a treatment plan costing over $6,000, only to discover another emergency hospital treated the exact same condition successfully for a fraction of the cost. If you love your pet--and of course you do--please know that you have options. Call another emergency hospital. Get a second opinion if your pet is stable enough to do so. It could save you thousands of dollars without compromising your pet's care. I will never return to ACCESS Animal Hospital, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. Based on my experience, I would only go here if there were truly no other emergency veterinary hospitals available.

I was taking my dog to Dave for training. We did 12 weeks of training once a week at a local dog…read morepark. The training with Dave was great, and we learned a lot one‑on‑one. I then started using him for boarding and training while we went out of town. The first time I dropped off Koa, I was happy--kind of. He said she had diarrhea and that she had worms. I took her to the vet, and she had no worms. I was surprised he even said that because she gets flea prevention that includes deworming, and she didn't have diarrhea prior to drop‑off. The second time we dropped her off, we left her with probiotics as recommended by her vet because she gets stressed when she's there. That time, there were no problems. The third time she stayed there, it seemed like Dave had new staff members. No one seemed to know I was dropping her off. I told them that she cannot eat food that they leave out all day because she gets diarrhea. Later, I got a text from Dave saying she had diarrhea again and that she had worms. I tried explaining to Dave that she did not and that I had already spoken to the staff. I had also given the staff her food. When we went to pick her up at the scheduled time, they made my husband wait almost an hour because they wanted to give her a bath, which was not discussed prior to pick‑up. They also confused her with another dog on their Instagram, which made me think that maybe she never had diarrhea and that it might have been another dog. No more. I feel like Dave has taken on too many clients, and this is no longer working. Sorry, Dave, but you are no longer trustworthy. I did, in fact, leave my dog with another trainer while we went on vacation, and she didn't have diarrhea. Amazing.

I have a now 11 year old dog named Shin-Shin who we got as a puppy and was not trained properly. He was aggressive towards every living thing that wasn't a main family member but I knew he was a sweetie inside and wanted others to experience his kinder side. I took 8 training sessions and while he may not be perfect being as his old habits have stuck a bit, he's much more manegeable. My partner, who doesn't live with me, has admitted that he's like a different dog now. Before Shin-Shin made my partner nervous and always looked ready to attack but can now cuddle with him. It takes a lot of patience and observation to understand a dog and surely a lesson learned for any future pets I may have in the future. Stacie was so easy and friendly to work with utilizing positive and fun reinforcements only! She truly cares about the wellbeing of the relationship between the dog and human. Would go back to her in an instant if needed, highly recommend!!!
