The search for the perfect groomer is finally over! I could never find a place in the area that I was 100% satisfied with, so I used to drive all the way to K-Town in L.A. to get my dog groomed. She's a Bichon Frise, and not every grooming salon has experience with the breed. Unfortunately, that often resulted in some very disappointing haircuts. Bella Banana popped up on my Instagram feed, and I decided to give them a try. They had great reviews, but as we all know, good reviews don't always guarantee a good experience. I waited until our second visit before writing this review because I wanted to be sure -- and I can confidently say I absolutely love Bella Banana! First of all, the salon has a fully open concept with large windows where you can actually see the dogs being groomed. This is very important to me. At many other places, they take my Bichon to the back, and I have no idea what's happening -- which always made me uncomfortable. Bella Banana's transparent, open space gives me so much peace of mind and builds real trust. Today I picked up my dog after her grooming, and once again, it was a perfectly satisfying cut. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you can genuinely tell they love animals and handle them with sincere care and gentleness. Bella Banana is truly a gem, and I feel so lucky to have found them!
I'm so happy I decided to make an appointment at Bella Banana! My dog has never liked water and always looks so sad and on the verge of a panic attack. When I initially reached out about an appointment I was pleasantly surprised to hear back from BB within the day. Making an appointment was easy. I'm kicking myself for not getting the name of the groomer--chatting with her was so easy that I forgot to ask her name :( She was so pleasant and after listening to me tell her all about Princess' water anxiety she just said "no problem". A few hours later I picked up a very happy, anxious, super clean girl who was cared for so well! :) I will definitely be bringing my pup back here.
Love Bella Banna! Cynthia is the best! She always has my Loa looking fluffy and beautiful when I pick her up. They have a photoshoot area decorated with that month's theme which is always so cute and fun! Plenty of parking, reasonable price, excellent service!! Love them!
We was referred by a few pups, and what a great experience it was. Making an appointment online was very easy. Our groomer was Paulina, our 1st visit with Bella Banana and I'm not going to lie and say I wasn't a bit nervous because my snoopy is naughty boy, my maltipoo Godiva is a good girl. Drop off was amazing the ladies greeted us and addressed the pups, and made me feel comfortable to drop them off, she explained what the service entailed. She said I'd get a text in about 4hrs when they were ready. They did such an amazing job, my babies looked so cute and smelled delicious. Got a 10% discount since it was our 1st visit. They had World Cup prop that I thought was so cute. Plenty of parking. They take Apple Pay. All around amazing experience. Thank you.
We love Bella Banana! Our baby Bean has only been here to see Paulina, since she was 4 months old. She is now a year and a half. Bean LOVES Paulina! She is a true dog mom, and is so patient and kind, not to mention does a fantastic job making our girl look like the princess she is, every time. Everyone at Bella Banana is friendly and knowledgeable, and when we pick Bean up she is so fluffy and so yummy-smelling! We love the photo backdrops they change for each holiday, too. So fun!
2nd time here and they did a great job on Lilo (golden retriever). Lilo is not a fan of the groomer and she was well taken care of. She came out looking clean and happy and they gave her a cute bandana! It's a little pricey with add ons but they do a great job and it's a nice clean place. Highly recommend!
I love Bella Banana!! I have 2 big golden doodles and we've been coming here for several months now. I know my dogs can be nit-picky when it comes to the groomers but they are always so patient with us, the price is reasonable and they always do a wonderful job! (And we always get so many compliments about the dog's haircuts). I appreciate Bella Banana so much! We've tried out a couple different groomers prior to here but this is definitely the one!!
Pepper always has the best experience here since being a young puppy, I would never take her elsewhere! Cindy takes such great care of her and you can truly tell how much she loves what she does. Pepper is a high-energy girl, but she is always so patient and gentle with her, which means so much to me. Cindy always listens to my ideas for Peppers hair and nails it! Pepper comes home looking amazing and happy every time. It gives me such peace of mind knowing she's in such kind and caring hands while she's being groomed. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a groomer who is talented, professional, and truly loves the dogs they work with. Pepper and I are so grateful we found Cindy!

Cindy is no stranger to me in the dog grooming business. She has been the best in the business for probably over 10 years, I just found this shop recently and couldn't wait to introduce her to Remy! Already booked our next visit!
This was Cinnamon's first time with Bella Banana and they did an amazing job! I've been to other groomers and they never delivered what I asked for, it was always too short even though I specifically asked for it to be on the longer side, and Cinnamon wouldn't have any severe matting for them to shave it off, they just wanted the easy haircut, but Bella Banana takes their time and actually gives your baby a haircut, not a shave! The haircut I wanted, will have to be a process and they communicate that with me since it's on the longer side and Cinnamon's hair isn't quite there yet. I'm glad they take their time to communicate and come to an understanding, instead of just rushing and taking your baby to the back with minimal communication. They also made cinnamon feel so comfortable and calm! Cinnamon was nervous when I dropped her off but she was so playful and happy when I picked her up! Her groomer was Paulina, she did a wonderful service! I will definitely be a regular here!

We love Bella Banana! Our baby Bean has only been here to see Paulina, since she was 4 months old. She is now a year and a half. Bean LOVES Paulina! Pepper always has the best experience here since being a young puppy, I would never take her elsewhere! Cindy takes such great care of her and you can truly tell how much she loves what she does. Pepper is a high-energy girl, but she is always so patient and gentle with her, which means so much to me. Cindy always listens to my ideas for Peppers hair and nails it! Gucci is a happy 3-peat client with Cindy. It was worth the wait to get another appointment at Bella Banana just in time for the holidays. Unlike other pet grooming salons, Bella Banana creates a friendly environment, and Gucci is relaxed and calm being there and always happy to see Cindy. Besides looking neater and cleaner, Gucci has been more energetic since his haircut! read more

I just picked up my nervous, reactive dog on his first visit to Bella Banana, and I am completely surprised and at a loss of words. Benji usually does not like to be groomed or even brushed. He will growl and show his teeth. So today I wasn't very hopeful and would have been happy with just a quick bath. But I was shocked when I came to pick up my dog because not only did he get a bath and brush, the wonderful ladies were able to give him a bath and tidy him up. He's so fluffy and cute now! The ladies at this salon understand how to work with nervous dogs. They are obviously experienced and know how to read a dog's signals. They gave me guidance on how to drop off Benji without a big struggle. They also let the dogs chill in separate pens that look out the window until they are calm enough to be groomed. I think giving Benji space and time until he was ready was exactly what he needed to not be so nervous with the grooming process. read more

First time with a new groomer and I couldn't be happier. I was told by my previous groomer that she was difficult so I let Paulina know and when I picked her up she reported NONE of the issues and that she was SO good. I had also been told she couldn't have a round mouth d/t "her hair." Apparently that's not a thing if you know what you're doing. My dog also came home with her eyelashes!!!! The salon is bright and open and they don't crate the dogs. Please bring your babies here. You won't be disappointed. Look at my gorgina babina!!! read more

Akira had a great experience at Bella Banana Pet Spa! I love how welcoming the staff was upon arrival. I let them know Akira was shedding a lot and she gets uncomfortable when she gets touched around her tummy/paws. The staff was very understanding and professional. I usually wash Akira at home so I was a little nervous taking her to the groomers since she's only been once as a puppy. I'm so glad I brought her here. She looked beautiful and was also still her happy self after. I will definitely bring Akira back when it's time for her next groom! read more

Finally, an experienced groomer where I can look at my dog after his visit and not feel bad for him. Or call him rat boy for the next two weeks because he looks funky. I love his haircut!! Cindy took the time to look at photos that we like of him. Didn't shave him down completely like other groomers would. She shaped his face just right. Today was our first day coming here at Bella banana. Our first experience was amazing! We love how they take their time with our husky gohan, it took them almost 4 hours and Gohan came out looking great! Since husky needs de-shedder shampoo it is extra from the original price. Total was $120 with 10% off first timer. And of course don't forget to tip your groomer its about the same price I pay at petsmart but better service and my dog looks way better in comparison grooming at petsmart. This will be our new grooming spot, so happy with the service! Thanks guys read more
