This yltooth they implanted has never been correct. And they are refusing to stand behind their own work which I paid dearly for. Steer clear of them unless you have money to burn. MCJenkins

It all started with an old implant that began to shift. Since I wasn't near home, I looked for a…read morespecialized center. With Clear Choice, everything seemed perfect--except for their request for upfront payment, which wasn't exactly classy. After the consultation with the doctor, the verdict was: "We need to remove the old implant and place a new one." An appointment was scheduled for the following week. The old implant was removed by a young and clearly inexperienced doctor, who immediately tried to prepare the site for the new implant. Apparently, she miscalculated the measurements and, by forcing it in, the implant broke. The result: a painful extraction of the second implant, bone grafting, and suturing. I was discharged without any instructions on how to take the prescribed antibiotics and without any recommendations whatsoever--so much so that I had to call a doctor friend to find out what to do. In less than three days, the stitches placed by the "highly experienced doctor" came apart, creating an actual hole and exposing the bone that had been inserted. I immediately called Clear Choice, and the doctor I spoke with (it was a Friday) told me that until the following Monday there would be no one available to redo the sutures. Considering that I was leaving that day, he suggested I find another dentist once I reached my destination. As a result, the work was completed by another dentist in Utah. The placement of the new implant has now been postponed for at least three months--and certainly not with Clear Choice. For the record, I paid $3,000 in advance. I requested a full refund, given the complete failure of the procedure, but they only returned $1,500. So I ended up paying $1,500 for work that I had to have completely redone--and which, had I gone to a regular (and perhaps more experienced) dentist, would have cost me no more than $800. In short, I got the worst of both worlds. Fabio M. Bonini
