Terrible dirty martini, zero olive juice, next to no dilution much less proper. Substituted a beer for a $20 cocktail because they were out of the appropriate liquor. Zero mention of adjusting the bill. Cool rooftop, everything else is subpar at best.

They have some festive tropical flowery shirts here.

So this space could be way more awesome than it is. The indoor seating area looks like a lobby or a place where you might read a newspaper. For a "roof top" bar, this could be much better. The drinks are priced at a premium, and they were good....but this place needs someone with a decorative sense to come in here and do this place a favor. The festive shirts don't match the upbeat music, and the lobby thing makes me feel confused. There's so much more to offer here with the right decorations. The vibe could be better.

We are staying at the 106 so everyone said you had to at least see the view. They would be correct. The outside was closed due to ice. We sat at the bar and grabbed a quick drink. Friendly bar staff. Food options if you need a nibble pr something heavier.

    An igloo also deflated

We rented an 8 person igloo tonight. The table was wet and no one had planned for us to arrive(no utensils, plates, menus) . We ordered food and drinks and waited over an hour for our flatbread pizzas! We had to double check on our food bc they brought out each item to us every 10-15 minutes instead of all together so we could share the "shareable" appetizers! The waiter was very inattentive and extremely checked out on waiting on us. We were expected to spend over $100 or more and it was not even worth it!

This is an adorable rooftop bar located at the top of the Hilton at 106 Jefferson downtown. When you get off the elevator you'll notice the adorable monkey wallpaper. This place is named after the first monkeys who went to space. The bartenders even where a scientist lab coat. Adorable! We went shortly after they opened and were able to sit in one of their bubbles outside. I ordered the Spanish rose cocktail and we got an order of their popcorn. It was so perfect for a happy hour! Beautiful views from the roof. This place should not be skipped. They have quite a few heaters outside too!

Sampler trio ($45) and popcorn ($6)

Really nice ambiance, service is good, food is only okay but very overpriced for what it is. The trio pictured was $45, popcorn was $6. You're paying for the ambiance. Parking is $5 for valet plus a $1.60 service charge which is ok. The parking valet attendants are on the rude side though.

I can say it was about time Huntsville got a rooftop lounge. Granted, due to geographic limitations the city has fairly short buildings, so I can see why this easily became a novelty. Located on the top floor (7th) of the new 106 Jefferson hotel, Baker & Able is a beautiful bar and lounge that got its name from the first two primates that survived space flight, and with that in mind you can see the monkey and space theme from the moment you step off the elevator. The menu has different cocktail, wine, and beer options, and they recently added a list of tapas style foods. I had a brief chat with the manager and seems like they'll have more science being applied to new drinks down the road, which sounds quite exciting. The inside is beautiful, and the terrace is very spacious and open, with different types of seating, heat lamps, and chill house music playing in the background, nothing loud or obnoxious. They mentioned they'll be setting up plastic igloos to withstand the colder temperatures, which will be a nice touch. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood of a good drink and nice atmosphere.

(L-R): Space Dust (strong!), Ultra Violet (boozy and fresh), 7th Rock from the Sun (very smoke and herbal forward)

Cozy little rooftop bar with great ambiance and seating options inside. I do wish they had heaters or fire pits outside for when it's just a touch chilly but you want to enjoy the rooftop views. Really enjoyed the drinks - they're the kind that some may consider expensive, but you can tell they're truly handcrafted cocktails where some time is spent to make them. Which, in turn, you can take some time to enjoy them and the company you're with. All staff members encountered were super attentive and kind. Great experience and look forward to returning when the weather is a little warmer.

Good vibe, rooftop bar was fun! Service was good. Three stars because the flatbread pizza was dull.

Nestled in historic Madison, V&O offers some of the most unique wines and whiskey/bourbon offerings in the region. There's a typical bar area with TVs showing sports, but surrounding the bar are plush, lounge chairs and couches that feel more intimate and inviting for groups. Selection of libations is a great start, but without passionate and knowledgeable 'tenders the experience feels... incomplete. V&O doesn't disappoint here either as everyone is well-versed and opinionated in what they are serving. It's the perfect place to let a few hours bleed away and forget what is going on in the world; maybe have an intelligent sparring session about tastes in the 'brown drink' or adult grape juice... You can spend an entire night here or end up here at the end of the night for a night cap... I don't think you can wrong either way. It's becoming one of my favorite places for wine and whiskey/bourbon... but tread carefully; there are so many things to try you may find it hard to walk out to a ride home. However, you won't regret the time spent within the walls of this gem... I can't promise the same for the next day

This place opened recently and offers a huge selection of wines (from Germany, France, California, New Zealand, and more), several varieties of bourbon, and a craft cocktail menu. They also have charcuterie boards and a shop with wine- and alcohol-themed memorabilia that are really quite cute -- think tumblers, candles, and other great gifts. There are televisions playing softly in the room with the bar but there's also a more intimate room; I think it'd be a nice place to gather with friends. I was told there'd be wine tasting nights starting soon! The bartender, Teylor, was exceptional! She put me right at ease, spoke knowledgeably about each cocktail and wine option, and had a good sense of humor. She worked efficiently among the patrons and was very attentive and polite. Shout-out to Teylor! The vibe was really great too - the other guests were friendly and sociable without being overbearing and I enjoyed my visit while having a drink. I ordered the Monte Sano Sunset, which is a rum drink with fruity elements to include orange and pineapple juice as well as a squeeze of lime. It wasn't overly sweet and didn't upset my stomach as similar drinks often do. It was a pleasure to watch Teylor make my beautiful drink as well as what others ordered; there was even fire involved with one particular beverage! I enjoyed my drink and heard rave things from the other guests about each and every drink that was served. Although this bar is rather far away for me, I look forward to bringing friends from out of town to this special new place.
