It has Leather Sleeves on which the Elasticized Cloth Storm Cuffs had frayed over time and the Zipper in the Jacket needed Replacing. A nice warm Fall/Winter Coat, the owner looked my Prized GM Embroidered Chevrolet Coat over carefully and advised me confidently she could and would fix it up and we agreed on a Price. Within about a week or so, I got a Call the Coat was ready to be picked up and by golly it was and I could hardly believe it, looked as if New again! They even got the little rolled up Fuzz Balls off the Cloth Body of the Coat to Boot !!! Now, the stitching has let go in the seam under one arm as well as the Pockets needing replacing. I plan on taking it there again to be repaired. The Coat has Sentimental Value to me as the one who Encouraged me to enter a Draw for it and ended up awarding it to me after I won it has now Passed on and I have Very little doubt that she can't fix it. I'm going there Saturday Jan.04th-2025 to ask. I found Honest Likeable Staff and Quality Work and Pricing. I come from Ajax and it was well worth the drive. Why I'm going back.

The owner looked at my coat and asked if he could suggest having it cleaned at the end of the season. I said I preferred to do it now as even though it did not look dirty I wanted to freshen it up. He looked at the label which read 'dry clean'. He went further and read the fabric content of the coat, then he said that based on the fabrics I could wash it at home. I washed it on a delicate cycle in cold water, tumbled it in the dryer for a few minutes on low temp and now it hanging to finish drying. Turned out perfect! Highly recommended!!!

When I indicated that these were not the same items of clothing I had dropped off for cleaning, the employee showed me that my phone number was on the tag for these garments. I told her that I understood, however these were not the same garments I had left to be dry cleaned. They were another size and colour...not my husband's pants. When I asked her if our items were in fact at her store, the woman who works there refused to look in her store for my items and rather than apologizing, yelled at me for taking too long to come pick up my items. When I explained that it was my personal business why I hadn't come to pick them up, not hers, she disagreed with me, and told me to call her boss at the number on the slip and told me to leave, as she was busy helping someone else. When my husband called the store to speak to the manager she hung up on him three times before he was able to engage her in a conversation. She told him that I had been rude to her. I had not. I was very calm and simply asked for our items to be returned to us. In the meantime, she had located our garments and hadn't bothered to let me know she had found them. When my husband went to pick up his pants, only two of the three pair had been cleaned, and she had altered the third pair (we had not left them for alterations). She insisted he pay full price for the dry cleaning that was done in spite of the fact she had altered his suit pants which did not require alterations and had not been left for alterations. The whole experience was unbelievable and my husband told the woman working there we will never be back to her business again. If there is another dry cleaner in Bowmanville, I recommend you give them a try instead. Oxford Cleaners needs a lot of help understanding the meaning of customer service and even basic manners. I'm giving this place one star because the Yelp app won't let me leave zero stars.

Though a bit complicated to get started, Claire greeted me when I walked in, and walked me through purchasing credits, choosing the right machine, and hooking up to wifi so I could work. She greeted everyone as they entered and checked on people while she cleaned the machines. A fantastic gal. This was the nicest and cleanest laundromat I've ever been in with clean, comfortable seating and lots of folding tables. They also have a wash and fold service that I'm sure to take advantage of in the future.
