I don't know where to start with this lady, we took our son to her for school pictures and we got…read moremixed up with the times she would be there because we go two different email with two different times. We showed up there while she was packing up and she had her two children hold up the background so she could take a picture because we told her it was our fault for being late and we wouldn't ask her to set up again. We paid the full amount for the package (no discount was asked for or given). The pictures should have taken two weeks for the photos which is what we were told, well a month later we got ahold of her and asked when the photos would be ready and she told us oh there already done, I emailed you but I think the email got sent back. Funny thing is the email that was written on the photo packet was correct so her just being the lazy business practitioner she is did not feel like taking the time to resend the email to the correct address. When we finally received the prints they were crooked, uncut, and my son only took up the bottom half of the photo the top half of the entire photo was all background. My wife emailed her and told her she was disappointed in the photos and service and it turned into a huge ordeal. This lady said she has never felt so attacked, she would not let me talk kept cutting me off and frankly was just a terrible person. We asked for just the digital image so we could crop it ourself, she said she wanted his photos back which cost 34 and we would have to pay 30 for an unedited digital image. Not only did she say that she attacked my sons costume and said that was the reason that his image was not good (he was wearing a hon solo costume) we never said the lighting or background was bad just the cropping, yet she still had the nerve to attack my son. This was a hack job photo session that we paid for and I will never ever go through her again or recommend her, we have also talked to the school and they agree that they will not use her services again. Maybe she has just gotten grumpy since her last good review 4 years ago.

My family is blended with two different cultures so things can get complicated. She gave me a follow up plan for our next meeting and let me know what was needed from me. I never met Tuly in person because I was in Texas while working on my wedding in California, but that did not impact our communication or the wedding at all. The process was so structured (which I absolutely need) and the website Tuly used to was extremely helpful. As for Charley, WOW. Let's just say my entire wedding party and guests know who Charley is because she went above and beyond!!!!! For the initial venue visit with ELE, Charley came and took notes for me. From the beginning, Charley was wonderful. She is very personable and so easy to get along with. She always arrived before the scheduled time (which eased my anxiety a lot) and started on time with everything. On wedding day, same thing. She addressed questions for guests/wedding party to not interfere with me getting ready. She was so prepared and on top of it. There is nothing Charley did not do! She wasn't paid to decorate, she wasn't paid to serve and cut pie, she wasn't paid to offer water to everyone, she wasn't paid to pour champagne, etc etc etc. But Charley did it ALL!!!! I had been following I Am Boudior on social media for a while when I was lucky enough to be one of…read morethe winners in a raffle to win a free session and $50 towards my products! I was beyond excited! I decided I wanted to do a couples session with my fiance but he refused at first. I showed him some of the photos Shalon and Christina had done and he was very impressed and agreed to do the session with me! Everyone who knows my man knows this is totally out of his comfort zone and something he would NEVER do. The day of our session I was super nervous and not prepared as we had just got back home a couple days before from vacation with our four kids. I hadn't even got to go shopping for the session so I showed up with basically nothing. Shalon assured me that it was fine and they had plenty of things for me to wear. I arrived at my appointment earlier than my fiance because they had me scheduled to get my hair and makeup done before our photo shoot. Before I left my house I told my fiance to just dress nice and bring a few shirts he'd want to wear....he showed up with one. I'm pretty sure we were the least prepared couple they've ever worked with haha By the time he arrived the ladies were finishing up my hair and makeup. We thought it was very nice that they had him show up later so he wasn't sitting there waiting on us. Shalon and Christina made us feel so relaxed, had us laughing and having a great time. They told us/showed us how to pose to highlight the parts of our bodies we like most. They didn't push us to do anything we were uncomfortable with and since we both had seen their previous work and all the different body types they've worked with, we trusted that whatever they were going to have us do would look great. After we finished our couples shoot they had my fiance leave so they could do a shoot with just me so I could surprise him with those photos. I love that they did not rush us or only give us a certain amount of time. That shoot was about us and whatever ideas we wanted to throw out there they were ready to do. I know I walked out of that session feeling more confident and sexy. I feel like doing a couples shoot, having never done anything like this together before, having to gaze into each other's eyes over and over has made us closer and more connected. At times it felt like we were the only ones in the room. I cannot thank Shalon and Christina enough for the experience they gave us. They are truly amazing at what they do. We both absolutely LOVE our photos and I know this is something he would definitely do again as long as we have I Am Boudior do it. I think every woman needs to do this at least once in their life whether it's for their partner or for themselves, you will walk out of there feeling like you've never felt before. I paid for my first shout in full and received my items but only after I had to continue to ask for them. I paid for a boudoir women's retreat planned by Shalon in full in March of 2022 and it was cancelled when I asked for my money back I was told "I am broke but we are going to plan another one so you will be paid for" another retreat was planned in July 22, Oct 22 and then June 2023, all were cancelled and still did not receive my refund. It was not until I made threats I received my money. Shalon tries to befriend you and take you under her wing because she knows a lot of women out there have self esteem issues or lack self confidence. She takes advantage of you in all aspects of who what and where you are in the know. She will even use your name or advice in buying things but then never pays in full what she owes. She uses people and is a horrible person. I was placed as an ambassador for her studio and she expected me to be available for her 24/7 and the minute I was not available to do a model call or a shoot or what she wanted she began to belittle me talking about me badly and my shoots to other members and photographers. Degrading me as a person and even sharing raw photos and pointing out my flaws to others and when I asked for items I was owed, she ignored me and started lashing out like she does to anyone who gets on her bad side. I was to receive 5% of any referrals once they paid in full, between the 3 people I referred and the package they purchased, they paid a total 18,000$ and I have yet to receive any percentage of that. Shalon allows her boyfriend Octavian to be in the studio while shooting and even allows him to take photographs of clients and it is extremely uncomfortable, but when you express it to Shalon she becomes offensive and backlashes that it is her stupid and she can have who she wants there. She is not professional at all. She speaks to people in a very unprofessional manner and tone and while doing group shoots or settings, she belittles those around and is very rude. Shalon had an original studio with her Ex Christina and she ended up closing it while owing money and photos to clients then she opened it again and then when things got heated she moved again and then had a falling out with one of her close partners in the studio and she yet again has taken peoples money, not followed through with appointments or has lied and made others feel less than because they don't follow through with her plans or wants. She claims to be the top boudoir photographer in Fresno but she is not, in fact she should be on the very bottom, not just for her work (that she doesn't do because she sends it out to be corrected and edited) but for her lies and deceit. Save yourself the money, heartache and stress DO NOT go with Shalon for your Boudoir photos go somewhere else where you will actually be appreciated and given what you pay for.
