Very minimalist aesthetic bakery but have a large variety of desserts. It's a bit difficult to spot at first as there isn't a proper sign and rather just written on the window. Banana pudding: I tried out the banana pudding and was so delicious. They sell a full pint or a half pint but totally worth getting the full pint. It was really flavourful but not too overwhelming. Highly recommend the pudding! A bit of a small space but there were 2 small tables by the window that can be combined for bigger groups and a few tables for duos. I would totally come back for the pudding and to try out other desserts.

This was such a cute bakery/cafe. I wanted to try everything, but we got the sweet and savory scone with bread pudding, apple cider, banana pudding, and a coffee. We enjoyed each thing soo much, and it wasn't overly sweet. I would love to sit in this pretty cafe for hoursss.

Yummy bakery located on Bloor Street. We ordered the butter tart and the banana pudding and they were both very delicious. Would love to try their pies and cakes as it looks divine. There's not much seating inside FYI!

    * Signature cinnamon roll * Butter tart * Lemon meringue tart This shop is really popular for their cinnamon roll, carrot cake and banana pudding! However, since butter tart is such an essential sweet treat in Toronto, I had to get it. I can totally see why the cinnamon rolls are popular. They are the softest and fluffiest ones I've ever had. Despite being drenched in the icing, it's not too sweet at all! The butter tart also has a perfect ratio of gooey filling and a nice crusty shell. If I had more stomach space, I would 100% have gotten the 1/4lb brownie too.

I ordered an affogato and a cookie from Bakerbots, and both were phenomenal. I enjoyed the dahlias they had on the tables; they were cute little centrepieces that added to the vibe of the place. The service is friendly and there are many people who come in just to purchase to go. If you choose to sit inside, it's likely that you can enjoy a seat there for a while without it getting too busy. I would stop by again if I was in the area!

Tried their pastries and desserts for the first time. They had a huge selection of different pastries, cakes, cookies, etc on display. I got a few items and I thought it was just okay, it could be because the items I chose had really similar flavours. I also got the banana pudding that everyone's been talking about and I thought it was pretty good. Staff were super kind and friendly as well.

    Gooey perfection.

I've been craving a proper cinnamon bun for a month now. I didn't want to go to any of the chains nor want a vegan cinnamon bun; the cream cheese is not the same and I'm a fan of cream cheese. My friend surprised me with this delicious cinnamon bun today and it was the perfect amount of ingredients. I thought I could save half of it for tomorrow but it didn't last the evening. If you want a delicious cinnamon bun look no further than this place. You won't be disappointed.

Update after two years with a slightly different order: I got two 1/2 ice cream sandwiches and the one I had was the oatmeal cookie with totaro ice cream. The ice cream is just as delicious. The menu states that it's ToTaro with a side comment that says that it's ube. So if you're looking for taro, this is not it. I wish they sold two 1/2 ice cream sandwiches for the price of one whole ice cream sandwich. The staff have adapted to the pandemic using limited contact with staff. You order, pay, and get your order from the table beside the slightly opened door. I did notice that the worker was touching the cookies and the touch screen with the same gloved hands. If the touch screen is sanitized, then all good. Otherwise that's one point to improve on. I will soon return to try their other baked goods- I hear their carrot cakes and cinnamon buns are delicious based on other reviews. In summary really quick service and even better ice cream!

Banana puddin' (5/5, get this!!!), Rosewater raspberry cream puff (5/5), & lemon meringue tart (3.5/5)

It's by the same owners of Bang Bang ice cream. So the ice cream is the same (but less variety than their Ossington shop) along with their cream puffs & cookies. But what's amazing about Bakerbots is their daily tarts, cakes, cinnabons and the BANANA PUDDIN'. Come here early in the day so your favourites don't sell out. My first time here was late at night so most things were sold out, although the staff can still be seen baking fresh items, even at 9pm! They also have some day-old goods that they sell for discounted. I tried their Banana-chocolate layered cake with a scoop of their Banana Puddin' ice cream on the side. The cake wasn't unbearably sweet, but it was very dense & moist. The ice cream was delicious as usual & I loved the chunks in there. My second experience here was even more outstanding as I came as soon as they opened on the weekend! The window display & freshly baked pastry spread was colourful & soooo enticing. I chose their popular Banana Puddin' in a cup (5/5, soooo creamy & the sliced bananas in there was incredible), Rosewater Raspberry Cream puff (5/5, super filled & true to its flavours), and Lemon Tart (3.5/5). Bakerbots has quickly become my favourite go-to bakery for decadent treats! Absolutely love their variety & everything I've tried has been consistency great.

one word, WOW. We ordered banana pudding and carrot cake! The carrot cake was well made - nice and fresh. But the banana puddling was next level. I am not a huge fan of banana pudding but after trying this one, I was hooked! This place is literally amazing and the employees were very friendly. I would def recommend this place to anyone.

Delicious and so glad we got to try! Half ice cream sandwich with everything cookie + lychee raspberry ice cream (wow, cookie was a good soft/chewy ratio). Half ice cream sandwich with ginger molasses cookies + burnt toffee ice cream (the cookie was hard which was unfortunate but overall still tasted good). Vanilla cream with strawberries - delicious and not too sweet. Lemon meringue tart - by far my favourite. Sweet and tangy... The fluff was perfect ! Altogether was $25. Not bad for delicious baked goods. Definitely a must go and repeat !

    Jeremy L.

Decent bakery with fair prices. The kyoto matcha latte was a bit of a letdown - there was barely any matcha flavor and it was mostly milk without much sweetness. The rococoa cookie was a bit better, with good texture and proper chocolate, albeit a bit sweet. The other parts of their menu look more enticing though.

But there was no "lava" at all... just a layer of cream sitting on a thick tart base. You do get some matcha flavour, but definitely not that rich and flowing matcha sauce I saw in those online reels. Matcha Mont Blanc - Too sweet. The green noodle-shaped topping is actually made from a kind of bean paste - not much matcha taste, but had a strong bean flavour instead. And again, it was too sweet to my liking. Taro Tart - This one was good. Taro-flavoured cream on top, with taro paste underneath, then a layer of custard with mochi at the bottom. Had a rich taro flavour. Still a bit sweet, but not as overwhelming as the Mont Blanc. Overall it was not bad, although TBH I haven't really found great matcha desserts in Toronto so far.

I love the little hole in the wall vibe and the modern look they've done with the space. The staff members were a little on the quiet side and a little tough to hear (and may not have fully understood me?) but were very kind and polite. The pastry selection, while maybe a little on the small side, is absolutely otherworldly in appearance. If I could have taken home one of everything, I absolutely might have. I ended up getting the creme brulee tart, pistachio croissant roll, and the tiramisu latte. Unfortunately, I didn't realize until I opened the box later that I got the one cocoa dusted matcha tart instead of the pistachio roll. Oh well, I'm not going to complain too much since, as I said, I was happy with literally anything I got. The creme brulee tart - 10/10 would recommend. Crunchy, flaky tart with creamy creme brulee hit all the right notes of layers of flavor and texture. Mmm, delicious. The matcha tart was decent though I may have been slightly bummed from not getting what I had been expecting. Regardless, another delicious treat, though definitely more on mellower side flavor-wise than the creme brulee. Still good but not quite what I was hoping for. The same went for the tiramisu latte. While I absolutely loved the presentation with the lady fingers on top, it did make it a little difficult to actually get in there and use them with the cup being so full before they got soggy and eventually disintegrated into the drink. The drink itself was OK but again pretty mild on both flavor and sweetness (and I definitely like things a little on the sweeter side). I feel like maybe a sweetened mascarpone whipped topping or something to really cap it off would have finished the look and maybe rounded out the drink a bit. Oh well, maybe next time. All in all, maybe not my go-to coffee shop in town, but definitely a great little place to stop in for a treat or two!

She also noticed all the  staff speak French sp it gives it even more legitimacy.  She also ordered a Flat White ($4.50) which was also good. I ordered a Plum Almond Tart ($7.25) because it was the prettiest. It was super delicious so it was definitely a good choice! Service was courteous and friendly. Hopped on my bike and a half hour later I was there. The friendly staff helped me by answering my question regarding eggs and which items did not have any in the recipes. This place was also super poppin' when I got there. It was earlish in the day around 10:30am and it seemed all the tables were pretty much taken. They are adding a dinner menu which is very exciting. Their pastries are phenomenal!!! Picked up a plum and pistachio tart, a chocolate mousse cake and an apple Danish for my mom. Plus a chocolate caramelized croissant. So much butter, and yet so good. Brought my container, which they happily used. The last time I visited this spot back in 2022, I vowed I would come back and take up space in that beautiful bay window seat. Yet I haven't followed through with that yet. One day. They also changed the name, since I was there last it was called Le Conciliabule Lab. Le Conciliabule means, "speak easy", as their website says. It was used back in the day to describe a place where people would come together and talk about everything and nothing. I can definitely say that happens here. What a beautiful concept, "everything and nothing". Now named Bisou, which means kiss. That's actually really simple and sweet. Since every pastry and any food item or beverage enjoyed here is a kiss for your tastebuds. Love it. Keep going team. You are amazing!
