I stopped into this shop, which was small but offered a bit of indoor and outdoor seating. It is in a quiet residential area near the maritime museum. The selection wasn't quite as large as I was hoping for, particularly given that there were a few odd things that I didn't want like zucchini bread, but I have to say I was swayed by the quality of what I did get. This included a majestic chocolate almond croissant, delectably browned and with a solid hunk of chocolate inside. They had some fresh items for those that wanted to sit in. I was quite happy with what I got to go. While the selection didn't quite match up to the other local bakery I tried, I would be happy to return here.

Cute place - good selections, limited indoor/outdoor seating, busy stream of customers in the AM, mostly take-out, which get served quickly. The croissant was quality

Got an almond croissant + a blueberry scone, both were great. Also got 2 coffees that were delicious! I recommend sitting outside if the weather allows!

Great spot! Bakers & Co in Annapolis has amazing coffee, and I love the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Perfect place to relax or catch up with friends!

Awesome little spot in Eastport. All the baked goods are worth trying. However, I'm partial to the market bun. Tossed in brown sugar and cinnamon with a hint of orange zest, it's is divine. They offer a full espresso bar too, so you can get that caffeine hit as well !

Be sure to arrive earlier in the morning as when they sell out, they sell out! And there is typically a line. From artesian breads to flavorful scones to tasteful croissants, this place is where you need to go. We arrived about an hour after opening, and we waited for about 15 minutes in line which gave us the right amount of time to browse the display case and figure out what we wanted. I opted to go with their classic Market Bun which is a fried pastry rolled in cinnamon sugar. The outside was perfectly crisp with a soft chewy inside. The cinnamon sugar gave it the perfect touch of sweetness. I also had a taste of the almond croissant, it did not lack in the almond flavor, I do wish I tried the almond croissant with the chocolate because that would've been just what I was craving. Others in my party got a quiche which they ate cold, and a scone which I did not get to try. We took our pastries to go but did not make it farther than outside the door and ate it at a table outside the establishment.

Fantastic bakery! In a great little neighborhood in Eastport and fits every stereotype of the area. Quality pastries that are not too sweet. Surprisingly good espresso for not being a "coffee place". Only open on Fridays and weekends so you'll have to hit it on the right time. But highly recommend if you're in the area.

As a bakery junkie, I can honestly say the chocolate almond croissant was the best I have ever had!

This galette is delectable, a bit sweet and savory, and delicate. Their selection of pastries is very nice but not overwhelming. You can select from sweet, savory, and a mix between the two.

Love this spot!! Went last weekend, ordered amazing cafe lattes, espresso and croissants! The ham and cheese was sooo great!! The chocolate was amazing as well. I have never been let down by this coffee shop. We love to go to different places but if I need a staple, must have it right without having to worry if I wasted my time or now GAS.... Definitely the go to!!

Very good food, fresh everything, delectable quiche and perfectly brewed coffee. This would be 3.5 stars if we could- but that's purely based on the ordering system, the lack of crowd control or guidance, and the inability to see the menu especially for coffee selections and baked goods themselves through the glass. The food and beverages themselves were 5 stars no question.

The petit four flavors that I tried were the red velvet and the triple chocolate. Everything I had here was so beautifully made and tasted fresh. I will definitely be back here again.

Having said that, it was pretty well run and after waiting in line I found two registers waiting and was able to order a variety of baked goods and a fresh sandwich, which were prepared for me quite speedily. I wouldn't expect to be in and out immediately at peak times, but for me it was maybe forty-five minutes to wait in line, get food, and eat my sandwich. They offer good options for special dietary needs. The vegan sandwich is based on Old Bay marinated tofu, and they are not kidding about that. It is really, really Old Bay flavored. The tomato and avocado livens things up, but honestly the best part of the sandwich was still the sourdough bread, which is fair enough for a bakery. The spread of pastries I acquired was resplendent in quality and variety, and I will be happy to continue trying out all the Black Market locations to see which one is the most convenient.

We ordered the oatmeal pie, almond croissant, wildberry danish, Black Market bun, lemonade blueberry scone, and a caramel cappuccino. Ordering took maybe 4 minutes, and our food was already being bagged while we were ringing up. The drink took another 3 minutes, which was more than reasonable considering how busy they were. What really stood out was the customer service. The guy behind the counter found out it was our first time and immediately gave us a free scone, then took his time explaining how everything works. He walked us down the line, explained what each baked good was, pointed out the most popular items, and even shared his personal favorites. As busy as they were, they still made sure we felt taken care of. There was also a young lady bagging orders who jumped in and out of conversation while working--just as friendly and welcoming. Service like that is refreshing and definitely made an impression. He jokingly asked if he'd see us next weekend... and yeah, we'll definitely be back. The shop was clean, noise level was moderate, and there are a few tables if you get there early or get lucky, but most people seemed to be ordering to go. Lighting was good, and I didn't really notice any music. Price-wise, everything felt more than fair for the quality. They told us everything is cooked fresh daily and they basically go until they sell out--which makes sense given how much business they were doing. The food was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and a great mix of sweet and savory. Honestly, the only regret I had was not trying the breakfast sandwiches--we watched a few being made and they looked serious. Overall, this was an all-around great visit. The way they operate is unique, the food is top-tier, and I can absolutely see why people rush in to grab their favorites before things sell out. Without a doubt, we'll be back.

They were out of the bread special I was hoping for. This wasn't overly surprising as a bakery like this will sell out of things on a nice weekend, but it is important to keep in mind. The rest of their selection of sweet and savory pastries was intact, and while I did not indulge in the prepared food menu on this visit, it does have good options for most dietary needs. The pastries I got were of high quality. It wasn't quite as good an experience as I've had at other Black Markets. For one thing, a cannoli roll that I got was just so creamy it was a mess, and to make things worse the bag they gave me for my pastries tore with pretty minimal stress, causing me to drop most of the items, most of which survived okay but not so much that ultra-cream-covered one. And then the little baguette bag they gave me popped open on the bottom and dropped my baguette. They really need to work on packaging. The mix of flavors is intriguing and seasonal, and I would certainly return. The inside can be a little busy and messy to eat in, but for someone like me who is mostly looking for a pastry spread to go this is a great place and I'll probably keep trying every location they open.
