We enjoyed a nice, and relaxing mid morning breakfast. InGrano Bistro & Bakery used to be in our regular rotation of breakfast spots but it has been a while since we have been. Service was okay, you now have to pickup your food from the counter when they call your name, they have over away from the glass water cups to plastic cups which is okay but used to add an upscale touch to a $14 - $17 breakfast entree with no sides. Happy to see they still use pasta as straws! Overall, it's still a winner in our book. read more

Stopped here for a quick breakfast with my daughter. I got a delicious cardamom vanilla latte- it was so beautifully presented and I just loved it ! Daughter got the Annapolis fog that she enjoyed. I got the quiche of the day which was very good and my daughter got the shakshuka which was also very beautiful and tasty- quite a meal! I stopped by InGrano for a snack and to do some work when I had some time between meetings in Annapolis. I visited on a weekday around 12:30 and hung out for about an hour. The bakery/cafe is charming, comfortable, casual. They have a beautiful selection of baked goods at the register, but they also have a full menu of cafe items. I order a cappuccino and their Tamago avocado toast (Tamagoyaki - a Japanese rolled omelet, red chile puree, pickled radish, soy reduction, and avocado on sourdough). It was almost impossible to eat - I ended up with soy reduction on my face - but it was so delicious, I didn't mind. It's a really creative, delicious toast. More than enough for a meal. The service was very good as well. In the winter, they close the outside seating area, so it can get busy with not much seating at busy hours. Luckily, they have maybe 10 barstools at bar areas with outlets for people that are there to do some work or studying. I love that - I didn't have to take up a whole table to sit and do some work for the hour I was there! Overall, a really charming cafe with some delicious baked good and cafe bites! Foods quite good but dining in is kind of fend for yourself. It's (help yourself) and there's noone cleaning tables. There is also a shortage of seats at lunch especially with coffee customers with laptops or playing cards taking us tables that dinners would appreciate. read more

I came here for a hot drink while visiting Annapolis on a day trip with my partner. We arrived around 10:30am and the place was packed. There was a decent amount of seating but all of it was full. There was a single terminal you could order on as well as a cashier. I got the Annapolis fog. Unfortunately it wasn't obvious how to change the milk to a non-diary option which I was disappointed in. I considered a pastry as they looked very delicious, but the $5-7 price tag for a single croissant was a bit too much for me. The drink I got was delicious but not hot at all, sadly. If I am getting a coffee/tea somewhere I want it to warm my soul, not be a sad lukewarm drink. read more

We tried this place again for lunch in the middle of the week and it is simply fantastic. The sandwiches are fresh and very delicious. Very large too. We split the roast beef and it was really good. We ordered it with a side salad which was very nice with arugula and tomatoes on an 8" plate ( no extra charge in lieu of chips. We also had a Pumpkin Maple Supreme croissant ant it was unbelievable. The Ceremony coffee they serve is high quality and always so good. We high recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. Nice quant dining atmosphere and great service. read more

This place is so close to my job that it's dangerous for me. I was overwhelmed in a good way by all the delicious food and bakery options. I went for a cortado sweetened with simple syrup and a banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich with BBQ pork, greens, and pickled veggies). The sandwich was so large that I cut it into three pieces. Their homemade chips are perfect. The space is like an upscale Starbucks: very welcoming yet busy. I see myself having lunch here when I want to treat myself. 10/10 recommend read more

I ordered the strawberry Matcha and I was heavily disappointed. This wasn't a strawberry Matcha, it was literally just a regular Matcha that had pink whipped cream on top. If you're gonna call it a strawberry Matcha at least put some type of strawberry preserve or syrup or something to make it actually strawberry in any sense of the word. We had a rather large group (9) for lunch and got there at a perfect time, before the lunch crowd came through. All of the food and drinks came out quickly and everything looked and smelled delicious. I ordered the Madagascar vanilla latte that was flavorful and smooth. For the entree, I had the roast beef sandwich; the espresso truffle aioli caught my eye. The portion was huge and tasty! I wasn't sure what to expect from the pistachio pomegranate slaw, but that was delectable, adding an additional texture to the sandwich. The roast beef was flavorful on its own, but paired with the slaw and the black garlic, it was the perfect combination. The entree came with chips that tasted homemade and were salted well. My husband and I just can't get enough of ingrano. So much that we go once or twice a week! It's all so good, we can't help it! This is a culmination of what I've had so far minus some others I forgot to photograph. But honorable mentions are; Our go to - the tamago avocado toast. The sourdough is amazing, the avocados are perfect & the egg is nicely done. I especially love the relish on top. The flavors just pair so well and it makes for a night textured bite! My latte. You won't catch me having anything other than an iced latte with oat milk & candied walnut syrup. It just hits every. Single. Time. The syrup is perfection in my heart. The most meaty and filing breakfast burrito! Stuffed to the brim and accompanied by the best sauce. It's always a hit when we get the burrito. Ham & cheese croissant! I feel like I have tried many ham & cheese croissants. & this is one is in my top rankings for sure. It's so crunchy and cheesy. I love that it has the sesame seeds as well! Quaint little restaurants that's great for brunch!! The inside is well decorated and the ambiance is great. There isn't too much indoor seating as the restaurant isn't that big but there's also a few tables outside for outdoor seating! I got an iced coffee with Madagascar vanilla flavoring and the kimchi chicken katsu sandwich. The iced coffee was great and not watered down at all. It was very smooth too. The kimchi chicken katsu sandwich was delicious. I think the kimchi added a nice bite to the sandwich and the chicken was crispy and a good size for the sandwich. However, it's definitely a sandwich to eat ASAP as the kimchi did make the bun kind of soggy. The bun was super unique too as they used Hokkaido milk bun for the sandwich. I didn't know the sandwich came with chips too and they were pretty good as well. They tasted like homemade chips too. Despite the restaurant being pretty busy, we got our food in a timely manner. I would love to come back in the future to try their baked goods as it looked delicious but also take my friends and family out here for a nice brunch! :) read more

I so enjoy coming here for their stuffed chocolate croissant roll. I don't exactly know what it's called, but it's heavy and sweet and decadent and fluffy at the same time. Their tea is fabulous, and the ambience is impressive, especially considering the location. I'm glad it exists in Annapolis, though not entirely sure why! I can also say that the shop owner keeps the store cleanly and interesting. There are always people eating and chatting here peacefully. I enjoy it quite a lot and have taken several visitors here.. if I were staying, I'd take oodles more! thanks, in grano! My friend recommended me this place because of the fun pasta straws, which were great, but the food was even better! I got the mushroom soup, which came with a large piece of baguette, perfect for dipping. I also got the Banh Mi, which was SO GOOD. Perfect baguette, great meat, and I especially loved the pickled veggies on top. My dad got the kimchi chicken sandwich which I was able to try, which was also delicious. When I first looked at the menu, I thought the prices were a bit high, but after the food arrived, I understood that I got more than what I paid for. The portion sizes were HUGE! I am a very active person and I usually don't believe in leftovers, but I had to give in. We took half of both sandwiches home to enjoy for dinner. Absolutely in love with this new restaurant! We walk in abs It feels spacious and very clean. It's a bit quiet, but we did come late in the afternoon for lunch. They close at 4. The staff was super friendly and even recognized us from trying to come in yesterday when we realized It closed at 4. The man that helped us gave us the quick run down. You can order to go or you can sit down abs scan the QR code and order from your phone. You can also order for pick up from your mobile which I thought was super cool. Food came out pretty quick and again, just super nice staff. Their menu indicates It will change foe the season and for lunch they had sandwiches, quiche of the day, and salads. I enjoyed a farro salad that had greens, beats, walnuts, and I asked them to hold the goat cheese. But I could see how well those flavors would have gone together. It was perfect. Lightly seasoned. I loved It. I also enjoyed a rye citrus roll that was phenomenal. I wanted to try more baked goods but I committed to coming this weekend in the morning. I'm on crutches and can't drive so I have to await my beloved's morning availability for the weekend. He enjoyed a wagyu burger that I just had to try to dine out for myself. It was amazing. He said It was the best burger he's ever had. And It came with a side of potato chips that were cooked perfectly. I can't wait to go back! Parking is easy as it's in a strip mall. Lighting was good. I love finding a business that truly deserves a 5 star review. I was impressed by nearly every aspect of what they do. The menu items were varied and interesting. The water glasses, the tableware, the decorations are all thoughtful. The counter staff were friendly and engaging. I noticed that if someone didn't come when their name was called, someone would walk around the restaurant and ask. There seems to have been a lot of thought that has gone into the planning, customer experience, and overall quality. Truth is, I paid for a latte, then because we were enjoying the scene and not ready to go - heaven forbid - I got a single refill of my latte with a regular coffee. BAD ME!!! I did not even think about it! Great coffee shop vibe encourages us to relax and talk. Ran out of latte, refilled with coffee. Got chewed out. The math! Two lattes - $12. Two coffees - $8. One coffee refill $.50. $.50 reduction in profit for either choice. $12 revenue vs $ $8 revenue. Happy customer vs embarrassed customer! Win-win vs. lose-lose. I still love this place. Will continue coming twice/month. Just won't buy lattes. Duh! That's a loss of $150/year for InGrano. Enjoy! But their % profit for their latte business goes up about .01%. Ahh! InGrano has taken a nose dive in quality since they first opened. Their "French" pastries are more of an off the shelf taste than a scratch bakery. Both their chocolate croissant and almond pastry had more a bread texture than a buttery pastry. Seems though Annapolitans still frequent the establishment. Quality for the $7 a piece price is poor and much better and friendlier at Black Market Bakery. What happened to the Pride here? Ambiance was nice and cozy. Seems the outdoor area has been much improved since their opening a few years back. Service was friendly but cold. Again more of a transaction and less of coming to a neighborhood bakery. read more

WOW!!! I was sooooo glad I found this place!   While I was in Annapolis for a business meeting and I had an hour to kill prior, I used social media look for a unique breakfast experience and found InGrano, so I hopped on over. Brandon was the person who took my order and he was very helpful, as they have a very unique menu loaded with some incredibly appealing items, I had a very hard time deciding! So, I narrowed it down to 2 items and he picked for me and it was a WINNER!!   The place is a sort of bakery café with savory items they mix into the items they bake. It smelled so very good inside, like a combo between a Middle Eastern store and an Asian Market. The items they offer seem to be of those similar genre. Their breakfast burrito is huge! Then again, the item I ordered, the Chinese Stuffed Flat Bread was pretty big and tasted amazing!!   Coffee is really good and the pastries and baked goods all looked outstanding! The dining room is very clean and cozy and the restroom was extremely pleasant and clean and well stocked too.   I highly recommend a stop in here if you are in the area! read more

Food is amazing. Some of the best coffee/chai beverages I've ever had, especially adding rose to your normal cup of coffee. The service is phenomenal! All very friendly and kind people. Very family feeling place. Ambience is nice. I'm from LA so there isn't anything around you can seemingly walk to, like a shopping blvd, but the ambience of the actual cafe is pleasant with indoor and outdoor seating. While I was visiting Annapolis this was my fave spot and I got a double dirty chai at least once a day! I also loved the plain croissant that had a v subtle but delicious orange glaze atop it. read more

My friend and I had a lovely dinner experience at InGrano tonight. We thoroughly enjoyed our harvest salad, the pappardelle in espresso, cream sauce, and the Seabass. We finished our meal with a delicious flourless chocolate cake. Our server, Lola, was absolutely delightful. She recommended several dishes to us and provided us with great suggestions. In Grano is definitely the best breakfast spot/coffee place in Annapolis. The veggie burrito, farmers market toast, and tamago avocado toast are my favorites. The coffee is solid and the pastries and breads are delicious - especially the muffins and sea salt chocolate chip cookies. The atmosphere is cozy. The prices are reasonable for the meals but a bit ridiculous for the pastries ($6 muffins, $7 croissants), not that that has stopped me from buying them! read more
