We are part time RVrs. We've stayed at most Encore/Thousand Trails throughout Florida. We've had memorable moments at every park, but Tranquility Lakes is by far the best Thousand Trails/Encore RV Park we've stayed at. This is a gated community with a nighttime guard. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The staff is always coordinating day and evening events for families, children's, and even date nights. All inside the park. No need to drive anywhere else. The main office even has a snack/drinks area with coffee should you not have time to run to the store. You even get FREE wifi, and it works. All of the employees work in sync to make sure we have all our needs met. The sites are all concrete and very well maintained. There is ample space between sites. Every site is always clean when you check in. Even the dumpster bins and spaces are very clean. Same goes with the laundry rooms. It is not an exaggeration, we try to stay at this RV resort every chance we get. From the clubroom to the pickleball courts, to the pools, they are in excellent shape and always clean. The pools are also very well maintained and ample enough for everyone. The jacuzzi is also very well maintained and clean. The park is just as nice as when they opened up several years ago. The property lake is enormous. The sun sets are to die for (see pics). There is not one thing I can say that needs improvement. The grassy areas and drains are maintained very well; no flooding at the sites. I can stay here all year around and always feel the same about this Rv resort and their staff. I have to say that I have had a very different experience here than the other review. I also…read morepurchased an existing park model 5th Wheel in March of 2022. In my case, I did a thorough survey of the entire property and rig. This way, I could understand what I was getting into. The onsite broker was extremely helpful, and had a lot of knowledge of the history of this particular site. I considered the age of the rig, and the desirability of the lot it was on, and it became a no-brainer for me to purchase, and cosmetically renovate to my liking. The staff that manages and maintains the property certainly have their hands full, especially during the winter when the park fills up. I have had nothing but clear, and pleasurable experiences with both departments. I can only assume that the 1 star reviewer was either misled by the previous owner, or did not do any inspection/due diligence on what they were buying. That is no fault of the park. Hurricane Ian wreaked some havoc for sure on all properties in the area, but we came out of it reasonably unscathed. I only live an hour away, so this is more of a fortress of solitude for us, rather than a destination to escape the North for months at a time. I find the property to be exceptionally quiet in noise and cleanliness, and in my opinion, well worth the park fees. I am already where I would take this 5th Wheel in Florida, and I don't have to buy a truck, or move it around!

I have had to get all new appliances because the ones that were in here did not work properly and they were a mess, the person I bought it off of did not do anything she just grabbed her stuff and left a mess. The roof leaks which was not disclosed by any means on my contract and on my contract it also said that they were supposed to install fixtures for washer and dryer which they did not, and I was supposed to start moving my stuff in in October and gave me the runaround about the key which I found out I was already paying the electric during the month of October. Now I got a notice in the mail as well as all of the tenants did that are lot fees are going up $75 this year which I was told before I sign the papers by the office that the increases are usually only around $20. I love Florida but I have been lied to by so many people down here selling things and fixing things that I'm beginning to wonder if it's even worth living down here. It's very sad because there's wonderful people that live here and I have made some of the best friends ever. And don't be fooled if you do go to rent in here during the winter it's so packed you can't use the facilities

The resort features cement pads, picnic tables, and state-of-the-art RV facilities that made our stay incredibly comfortable. It's also in a great location, close to bars and restaurants. We had a terrible experience with this company…read more We are disputing $1,000 of its charge and the company has refused to return calls, emails or letters. The owner said he had to charge us extra because his Florida-based plane and crew had to overnight in Baltimore, MD. But the pilot told me when we landed that they were gassing up to fly home that night. The ground ambulance that Air Trek hired to take my sister to the Naples, FL airport had trouble finding the airplane. Air Trek's on-board medics declined to wear anti-germ masks until I insisted. Don't be fooled by the nice exterior shots of these planes. The interior space is very cramped and uncomfortable.
